Best college to enjoy our studies and it's little poor do placements in our dream company.

Placements: From my point of view, whatever the department is. One should be clear with software part like coding languages otherwise he can't survive till the second round itself. So be clear with core subjects and also coding part. Most of the companies will hire students in third year itself in the name of internship but they fail to hire the same students for job opportunities.

Good college with a fun loaded curriculum and the placement are best.

Placements: The students are provided with the placements if they have good knowledge. The companies visited the campus are Caterpillar, Delphi, TVS, Renault, and Mahendra. These are the best placements available on the campus. Students got placed in Mahendra through SAE event Bajaj.

Enjoy the Life to core in MIT.

Placements: There is a less chance of placing in core company. Strength is around 120 students per year. So there is a large demand in placements. Only 1% of students will get placements in core and that too rarely. 2 to 5% of students will get placements in IT company.

MIT is a great place for your life to be settled.

Placements: The placements are good in MIT. Around 100 to 150 top companies visited our campus. They include Samsung, Amazon, Flipkart, Myntra, Goldman Sachs, Direct, Paypal, Zoho, etc. Around 75 % of our IT department got placed in 2018. The highest salary will be 30 Lacs per annum, and the lowest salary would be 3 LPA. The roles offered were developers, testers, power programmers, etc. Coming about the internship, you have a chance to attend around 10 to 15 internships in your 3rd year. The stipends vary ...

This college has a good placements and staff.

Placements: MIT is Tamil Nadu's top college as all of you know that. Here is some of the special thing about our MIT, placements are at best in our college when compared to the other private colleges. In our department, the giant companies like Amazon, Adobe, Visa, Zoho recruit more students from our college. Internships are also given to some intellectual students independent of the year of the students studying there.

A really good college, don't forget to make use of it.

Placements: The placements are now okay, and the recruitment in core companies is going down, and the placements in IT companies is good. They are recruiting more number of students in core companies. Aeronautical engineering has stopped recruiting directly, and the core companies for other departments are only a few.

MIT is an institute to enjoy in learning and to live your life.

Placements: In MIT, if you're skilled and you hone your skills in the right way, a flurry of opportunities will lie at your doorstep. The lack of placement training has been completely overshadowed by the training conducted by the variety of clubs at MIT. The availability of core jobs dipping in numbers and MIT has made sure to stop that dip numbers. The IT firms storming in hiring the skilled ones, and the core ones also constantly clip into our college. At an average, MIT can proudly deliver 80% placement...

Overall, it is an average college to study.

Placements: You will get good core placements if you are studying CS, IT, EEE, or ECE. But placements are very low for mechanical field department. You should be studying very good if you want to get placed in core companies. Very good top companies will come to visit for placements.

A right place that will drive you to achieve your dream.

Placements: There were nice opportunities to get placed in the IT and core companies with a good and best package. The only thing you need is, keep your personality and knowledge at high. Year by year, the placement percents were increasing. Last year in my department, 60% got placed. When I am in the final year, 69% were placed in their dream companies.

One of the decent places to get engineering degree (Dr A P J Abdul Kalam was our alum).

Placements: Everyone without standing backlogs was placed. Most companies in the IT sector were there. Also, a few from the semiconductor industry as per my research, it has only become better since the year I have left the college. There was no mechanism to provide internships when I was there. The students used to get them on their own.

A good college and an average department.

Placements: I'm from automobile department, so the placements are very less. Till now, only 4 have been placed in mechanical stream companies and 10 people overall, out of the class of 54. So, this needs a lot to improve. FCA, L&T and RNTBCI are the companies that came for placements for us.

A great college with lots of facilities and a soft environment

Placements: The placement is very rare but there is compulsion in placements for IT fields based on your score. But in early 2010, there were lots of placements in almost all departments for all students. But due to more engineering graduates, the placement are quite an upset still.

Reputed institute with pros and cons.

Placements: Madras Institute of Technology comes under Anna University. So the campus is authorised to attend placements in Guindy campus of Anna University too. Now coming to the statistics, Accenture, Accolite, Air Watch, Amazon, Chronus, Citicorp, CTS, Flipkart, TCS, RBS and may others come to the campus for placements. Statistically, more than 50 percent of the students have been placed. With a filter on CS/IT department, more than 70 percent of the students were placed as of the year 2016. ...

Absolutely satisfied because of faculty, good placements, really good infrastructure.

Placements: In my batch, the placement is not bad compared to my senior batch. Around 150 companies came to my campus and the placement percentage of my batch is 75%. The highest salary package is 16 lacs per annum, the lowest is 3 lacs per annum and the average salary package is 5 lacs per annum. Above 50 are electronics core-based companies for the fields of networking, digital, communication and electronics. 20% students got the internship on the campus.

It is the best institution ever. Few staffs are really good. The only cons. about this college is that there is a kind of partiality shown on the students. The ones who does tinkering and puncturing works with the teachers will be given more preference than the ones who really work hard.

It is a good college with great culture. Timings are awesome! The faculties are very friendly and approachable. The Senior-Junior relationship here is the best! Food quality can be improved a bit. Lots of opportunities to play different sports. The lab facilities are top notch. The hostels are not bad but there is a lot of room for improvement. Water in hostel is often scarce. The mess food is not up to the mark. The campus is very green with lot of tress but there is also a lot of garbage. Park...

A very nice place to grow technical and personality skills. An arena for overall development with good facilities and opportunities. The college is very well known for the 'senior junior relationship’. Seniors act as mentors for the juniors in terms of Academics and placements and of course in building up fun. The Institute has practical oriented curriculum where students are emphasized in doing projects of their own.
