Our course is a unique course in India.

Placements: From our course, out of 60 students, more than 55% of the students get placements through on-campus in a year, while some students opt for higher studies. The highest salary offered here is Rs. 55,000 per month, while the lowest salary offered is Rs. 16,000 per month. The average salary offered is Rs. 23,000 per month. The top recruiting companies for our college are Ceat and Mahindra. Only 5 students got internships in Ceat. One student went to Canada for an internship.

MIT is a very good college to study.

Placements: Placements are very good, and teachers are appointed to coordinate with various organisations, and they fix very good salary packages. Many internships are available, and these organisations also offer pre-placement for students and those who are having good coding skills can have great chances.

MIT is a heavenly college where students feel great.

Placements: Many good companies visit our college for placements, and they offer huge salary packages. Students with few backlogs will get a better opportunity to get placed. Many reputed companies visit our campus for placements. Students with good coding knowledge will have a strong chance for getting placed, and they can stand out from the crowd. But the others who have decent knowledge can also get placed because of the good placement team of our college. Specific teachers are allocated to guide the stu...

It is the best college in Tamil Nadu.

Placements: As far as the placemets in core companies for the automobile department are concerned, top automobile companies around Chennai visit the campus for placements. They will select a few students. Some IT companies also recruit automobile students. Leading companies like Ford, Ashok Leyland, Hyundai, and Fiat, etc., visit the campus for placements.

This is a good college for all the students.

Placements: Last year, almost 72% of the students were placed, and the placement rate would surely increase this year. Many students fulfilled the companies' expectations. The ECE department has the record of having a student placed for a salary package of 3 LPA. The overall experience with the companies visited is not that bad.

One of the best colleges I have ever studied in, and the only college with enough freedom.

Placements: Many students got placed in core companies with good packages. Also, some of them are interested in getting into the IT sector with minimal packages. A lot of companies like Afcon, Citicorp, Dow Chemicals, and some semiconductor companies visited our college for placements.

Being an MITian is awesome.

Placements: Our college provides some of the best placements in the state. All reputed companies like Ford, Mahindra, Ashok Leyland, Caterpillar, Daimler, Fiat India and Fiat Chrysler visit our campus to offer placements. Placements for our batch and senior batch were good. Currently, there is an issue due to the high intake, but you can survive outside with the reputation of the college. It has strong alumni connect which helps you in all means.

The best place to learn and develop socializing skills.

Placements: Placements are excellent. The highest package offered in 2013 to our batch was by Bharat Petroleum Corp Ltd around 12 Lakh CTC. ( albeit other companies such as Google and Flipkart offered much higher packages to Computer Science and IT departments). The lowest package was around 3 Lacs CTC which was set by our college authorities I. e only company offering more than 3 Lacs CTC are eligible to hire from our college. Various roles such as management, Engineering consultant, IT domain-mostly admin...

A place full of learning and experience!

Placements: It is needless to say that Madras Institute of Technology has always been exceptional in placements. We have every top company visiting our campus for final placements. Good subject knowledge has been continuously attracting companies to visit our campus. Placement cell has been continuously helping students in building their careers.

A good environment to learn, develop and update our skills.

Placements: Placements for our batch are mostly concentrated on the IT sector. Around 85-90% students were placed through campus placements. Around 5 core companies (ECE) visited the campus. The highest salary is 18 Lacs given by Microsoft, followed by packages around 13 Lacs given by Amazon, Freshdesk, GroupOn etc. The average package stood at around 6-7 Lacs.

Satisfied due to placements and internships but partly dissatisfied due to the faculty members.

Placements: The placements are pretty good here since its one of the top colleges in Tamil Nadu. Many top IT companies like Microsoft, Amazon, Adobe recruit here. If you have a decent CGPA then you have better chances of getting into the top companies. But when we look at the non IT departments, only a few core companies recruit here and they recruit only 1 or 2 people.

Best college to enjoy our studies and it's little poor do placements in our dream company.

Placements: From my point of view, whatever the department is. One should be clear with software part like coding languages otherwise he can't survive till the second round itself. So be clear with core subjects and also coding part. Most of the companies will hire students in third year itself in the name of internship but they fail to hire the same students for job opportunities.

The best college a student can get in Tamil Nadu - MIT.

Placements: Placements are Good, with companies like Fiat, Renault-nissan recruiting students and also off-campus placements in Daimler, Vestas etc. Though the industry is on the verge of getting obsolete and moving towards electric mobility, companies recruit students from our college as they identify prospective and highly equipped minds.

Really good infrastructure.

Placements: Many core companies will come and some will get placed. Placement depends on the performance of the students, if you perform well you will get placed. Students must be good in technical knowledge. Students can apply for placement in their prefinal year.

The worst infrastructure and the worst faculty, good college by name but the worst inside.

Placements: Placement opportunities are not provided well in this college. In our department, I. e, Aeronautical department, Head and faculty members do nothing to get placement opportunities for students. Frankly saying, in the last 8 years, merely 10% students get placed in Aeronautical department, and that also in some IT companies. They don't even arrange Insudtrial visits, and department related programs. Almost nobody gets placed in core companies except few.

It is an honour to study at MIT. All the infrastructure and placements are good.

Placements: Compared to all other departments in MIT, this department has more placements. There are no restrictions like no arrears and other to attending the placements. Last year, about 25 students got placed out of 28. In this year, 65 students got placements from the college. The high paid salary is Rs 25,000, and the lowest is Rs 9,000. Many Rubber, as well as polymer companies, visit our college regularly for placements.

Absolutely satisfied because of senior and junior relationship.

Placements: Placement was good upto the year of 2012, after that the placement starts to decreases, but IT company placements were high and core company placements are low. Our college friends are good at management and other skills also, as there are many other departments, other than the studies, such as PDA, CSMIT, Rotaract, MITRA, we are organising many events, they are also useful in placements.

The infrastructure is in the ongoing process because our college was there since 1950.

Placements: The placements were good, but you should have the capacity and good knowledge about your department subjects. Technically if you are strong, then you can crack it easily. From core companies like Maruti, Mahindra, Ford had come so far. The IT companies like Zoho, Infosys, TCS, etc., visit the campus. Some companies like Citi Corp, L&T, and many other companies are there. I can't strike it right now. If you are a well-knowledgeable person, then you have bright future here. Placements: The students are provided with the placements if they have good knowledge. The companies visited the campus are Caterpillar, Delphi, TVS, Renault, and Mahendra. These are the best placements available on the campus. Students got placed in Mahendra through SAE event Bajaj.

Enjoy the Life to core in MIT.

Placements: There is a less chance of placing in core company. Strength is around 120 students per year. So there is a large demand in placements. Only 1% of students will get placements in core and that too rarely. 2 to 5% of students will get placements in IT company.
