Our college has highly educated faculty members.
Placements: All companies that visit our college for the placement process are from different backgrounds like aerospace and defense, banking, development and social, financial services, NGO, FMCG, etc. Our college prepares students for the placement drive and interview rounds. Companies like HDFC Bank, Jeevika, Yes Bank, etc., visit our college to recruit students. The salary packages are decent. The highest salary package offered is 25 LPA. The average salary package offered is 10 LPA.
Infrastructure: The hostel rooms are good, well-maintained, and well-furnished. We have to share rooms. Students will get a single room if they score good marks in exams. The mess provides good food. The hostel fee for the first 3 years is Rs. 1,500. After 3 years, it will be Rs. 55,000 per semester.
Faculty: The course is relevant to the current and future scenarios. The curriculum of our college is well-structured as per the industry standards. Our mentors pay attention to us. Our college provides international exposure. The teaching methods are excellent. They use creative and interactive content. During the pandemic, our college used to conduct all exams according to the schedule. It used to cover all portions. The course curriculum is up to date.
Other: Our course fee is Rs. 1,00,000 per year. There are around 40 students in our class.

Madras School of Economics- a newcomer for Bachelor's.
Placements: Placements are not available in the school for the bachelor's, mostly due to the direction taken by the higher authorities involved in the course. They have a more academically inclined approach but encourage the students to look for opportunities elsewhere off campus.
Infrastructure: Rudimentary facilities: WiFi is available but nothing amazing. Usually triple sharing rooms are given out but you might get a twin sharing room as well; triple sharing rooms are bigger in size compared to the twin sharing rooms. The mess food is basic but hygienic—a good mix of North-South palette.
Faculty: Teachers are mostly qualified in the subjects they take up—either Doctorates from IITs, JNU or similar institutes or from abroad. Most of the faculty members are fairly accessible and available. The curriculum is pretty well designed—blenched with practical subjects like Python and MS Excel with traditional subjects. Semester exams depend on the faculties taking the course. Pass percentage varies between 85 and 95%.

Satisfied with placement but dissatisfied with the faculty, except a few very good ones.
Placements: The placements for the senior batch have been quite decent. About 70-80% have been placed. The highest salary has gone above 18 lacs pa. The average has been around 8-9 lacs pa. The internship placement rate was 25% with the highest package being 12 lacs pa and average around 3.6 lacs pa. There is a placement cell in place which is quite efficient.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is quite good. We have properly functioning labs and classrooms, all completely air conditioned. However, the hostel is quite sub standard. There are no ACs and 3 sharing rooms with a common bathroom on a single floor. The food of the mess is pretty average. They do provide a good variety of all cuisines.
Faculty: The teachers are quite helpful and knowledgeable, barring a few. Teachers often use PowerPoint in class. The teacher to student ratio is 1:30 on average. The course curriculum is helpful but could be improved upon to include industry specific skills.
Other: MSE has a very active social life wherein all festivals are celebrated with great enthusiasm and participation by all.

Placements are good with good courses, but the faculty members are average.
Placements: Placements in the college were really good. Many companies came to the college to conduct placements and offered good packages. There were around 95% placements this year. Placements were good for our senior batch also as the placement cell committee worked really hard for it. The highest salary package offered was 15 LPA, and the minimum was 6 LPA. Roles offered to students were related to data analytics and consultancy.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is good. The library has AC facility which is really helpful during the summer season. Classrooms are really good, and the quality of food provided on campus is average. Sports and games facilities are available for students, and all festivals are celebrated with great enthusiasm.
Faculty: There are five courses with a properly designed curriculum, and they are introducing more courses to make use of our leisure time as well. Teaching methods are mainly based on presentations. Courses provided by the college are very useful, and the teaching quality is satisfactory. We did not get much industry exposure, but they are trying to provide more industry exposure.
Other: The campus is beautiful, and all kinds of events are organised. Overall, the college is good, and they are improving towards a new level day by day.

Great college and nice placements last year.

Infrastructure: The college has good facilities to girls, like hostels that are under cctv surveillance and the good security at the campus gate and outside is not allowed. The good classrooms and labs. library is well stocked. The infrastructure of the college is nice, with good buildings and sufficient classrooms and good washrooms, etc.
Faculty: The teachers are well qualified with PhDs and Masters in their subjects, the teachers are friendly to students and the teaching quality is good with concept-based teaching. The difficult of the semester exams are hard and the pass percent is around 80.
