College has good placements and quality faculty members.

Faculty: We have good-quality faculty members with field experience and extensive knowledge. They introduce topics with real-life case studies for better understanding. The course curriculum is very relevant, covering all aspects of HR, such as OB, labor laws, financial concepts, business management, workplace counseling, HR analytics, employee relations, and more. In each semester, we have one-semester exam worth 100 marks and two internals worth 25 marks each. The approach is flexible, and it is fine t...

Supportive faculty members.

Faculty: Mssw offers a good balance of theory and practical teaching. The courses are good, and the subjects are easy to learn. The teaching quality is always good, and students have the opportunity to learn from the community. The only downside is that students must have a minimum attendance of 75% to be able to take the exam.

Good faculty and supportive environment with average infrastructure and facilities

Faculty: The course curriculum is up to date and very relevant, it focuses on various aspects of psychology and makes it easier for a student to select what specialisation they would want to proceed with. The teachers are definitely helpful and qualified, however, a few faculty members may not take classes regularly or lag behind in completing portions. Semester exams were not difficult according to me, quite easy if one is self motivated and attentive in class.

It is an excellent college in India.

Faculty: Our teachers are well-qualified and helpful. The teaching quality is excellent. Non-Tamil students might find it difficult to adapt to a few staff members who teach in Tamil. The course curriculum is relevant. It prepares you to be a professional social worker. The syllabus is set after proper planning and is updated every few years based on requirements. Semester exams are average, with both theoretical and practical questions. If someone is well versed in the basics, they have a high chance of...

The life at MSW will be very enjoyable with personal and professional learning with satisfaction.

Faculty: The teachers in our department are very knowledgeable and qualified. They are always willing to help us with any subject, even if they don't teach it. They also help us to develop professionally and personally, and they don't discriminate. The semester exams are usually conducted every six months, and in between we also have internals. The passing percentage is 40%.

Review of Madras School of Social Work.

Faculty: Being a medical and psychiatric social work student, after getting into the job, I had a very strong feeling that my curriculum was not up to the standards of today's practice. Compared to what I learned in my 7 months of the job, I have just learned hardly 25% through my college.

New age of teaching, good skills acquired, absolutely satisfied.

Faculty: The teachers are qualified and most have their own enterprises. They practice what they teach. These two years enable you to acquire the skills needed to become a social entrepreneur, from problem identification to solution to implementation to revenue. There is a separate incubation centre to boost your ideas. The pass percentage is 50 %. .

Our college provides very good library facilities.

Faculty: Staff members in our college are well trained and experienced. Apart from academics, the college also conducts sports and cultural activities. Staff is very friendly, and they clarify your doubts at any time. They mould students well and have field sessions two days a week.

Practise based learning - the most interesting way.

Faculty: Almost 90% faculty in my department are doctorates. The course curriculum is designed in such a way that theory is put into practise. Weekly 2 days are compulsory field mostly linked with some organisation. It is compulsory for the students to finish at least 2 certificate course through the course time. It will be organised by the departments in the college. The faculty have a lot of experience and are open to extend their help with respect to internships, department activities like organising ...

A fun-filled college that teaches and moulds you well as an individual. It has a practical-based learning that will be carried upon throughout your life. The life in MSSW is a place where your ideas, innovations, talents and hard work are given due concern and importance is also given for your personal development. It has a reputed name for the HRM department and even the college has its own standard.

Faculty: 1. The faculty is good but it is too partial and stressful. 2. I think it will provide good employment in good organisations.
