Overall best college for M.A. in History.

Faculty: The teachers at this college are very helpful. They are well trained, and they don't use the local language even on the college premises. The curriculum is relevant and prepares students for the professions. The semesters are not very challenging, but the college has a graduation rate of about 95 percent.

Reviewing the Great Maharaja’s College Ernakulam.

Faculty: The teachers in our college are excellent in teaching. Most of the teachers have doctorate degrees and their teaching skills are great. The teachers have more than 10 years of teaching experience. Course curriculum is relevant and was updated in 2020 by discussing with the private sector. The semester exams are moderate. 90% is the passing percentage in my department.

Maharaja’s College, one of the oldest colleges in India, around 150 years.

Faculty: Teachers are very helpful and top class. Curriculums are relevant to its students. Exams have quality, so papers are not that simple. 45% is the pass mark. Teachers are well qualified; everyone had PG, NET, and most of them had PhDs. Curriculum doesn’t make students ready for the industry.

Maharaja's College has satisfactory infrastructure, ambience and freedom given by the college.

Faculty: Every department has sufficient tutors. It will help us to get subject-wise tutors and learn. Every postgraduate graduated from well-known universities abroad, such as IISER and IIT. So it will be a great inspiration for students. The difficulty of exams increases semester-wise. Almost 80% of students passed this year.

The perks of studying in Maharajas.

Faculty: Almost all the faculty members are highly qualified with doctorates and all so the teachers are highly knowledgeable and useful if we could explore their knowledge. The semester exams are not that tough, but still, they are advanced. The pass percentage is minimum 55 or 60.

Good infrastructure and a vast area to explore, but lacks placement.

Faculty: The teachers were very qualified and supportive. Semester exams were a little bit difficult, but with determination, they can be passed easily. The course curriculum is relevant for the students, and it is very important. Most of the students get more than 60%, I guess.
