Not satisfied with the college. It is totally waste of time and money, and yo will get nothing.

Placements: Placements in the college are in very poor condition. Only 1-2 or maximum 3 genuine companies visit the campus and select very few students. Sometimes they are also invited through the reference of teachers. In mechanical, there is no scope. They invite companies which have no status at all. Placements are good for CS branch but if you are in mechanical, then you are in deep trouble. They invite lots of useless companies and try to place mechanical students in those bogus companies. They also in...

Infrastructure is really good and open, you will love the environment here.

Placements: Till day there is no such placement in a core civil engineering company but placement cell is working hard on it. For other branches like computer science engineering, mechanical engineering and electronics & communication engineering, placement drives for core branches were held. Other than the core companies, placement drives for non technical companies were also held open for all branches including B.Tech and other courses.

Review of Maharana Pratap Engineering College.

Placements: Placements in the college are good enough when compared to other colleges in its vicinity. It provides a better future for the students who are willing to take admission in electronics and communication department because it provides 100% placements. So, if you are willing to do B.Tech from this college, just go for it.

The college is good for students.

Placements: Most of the students got placed in the campus placements. Companies also visit the college to hire students. This is the best college that I have ever seen as it provides jobs to the final year students. Internships are also provided for students from the college.

The placements of the college are the best.

Placements: MPGI is known for its placements. Well-reputed MNCs like Infogain, JBM, Informatica, Alight solutions, etc., visit the college for placements. Every year, the number of students being placed are increasing. As the college is providing placements in well-reputed companies, students will have a great career.

Review of Maharana Pratap Group of Institutions.

Placements: The placements of our college are excellent with almost all the students getting placed in renowned companies according to their branches. Our college has a team of separate faculty members which manage and take care of all the placement drives. I'm one of those students who learnt much under their guidance, and I can very proudly say that all of them are the best in their respective fields. Our college brings companies for the students of all the branches. Companies like Informatica, Capgemini,...

Overall, the college is average. The faculty are awesome, and the infrastructure was average.

Placements: The placements of this college are average. For mechanical engineering, a few companies visited during my batch such as JBM (Jay Bharat Maruti), Indo MIM, Tractor India Pvt Ltd, etc. If you want to go for IT companies, then they will find many opportunities because there are many IT companies who visit every year and allow all the branches to take part in placement drive. The average salary package provided by various companies during my batch is 2 LPA to 2.5 LPA. The highest salary package was...

MPGI- A great place to start.

Placements: The placement cell of our college is the heart and soul of the college. Faculty members which are involve in the placement cell not only teaches the student but also guide the students in choosing the right path for their career. This year placement of our class is fantastic. Till now 80% of the students were placed in a renowned software companies. This year companies like Informatica, Mobiloitte, Smartchip, Infogain visited our campus for recruitment process and None of them have package below...

I am not so much satisfied with my college, but the infrastructure is awesome.

Placements: The placements in my college are good, but there is a little bit problem which students are facing. They only focus on the course study. They don't focus on any extraordinary things, and that is the biggest problem of my college. 60% of final year students are placed till now from my college and salary is between 3 LPA to 5 LPA. Not all companies visited the campus. They do not justify the role for the students. Some of my batchmates got the internship from upper-level institutes. During the per...

Good college because of campus crowd.

Placements: The placements are average, and not everyone is placed on the campus. The placement was conducted, and student-placement ration was 50:50. A few of them didn't turn up for the process and rest were not selected as companies who came up to the college were offering very fewer packages.

Build your career with Maharana.

Placements: The placements offered in my batch were good. In the mechanical branch, 50 students were placed at an average package of 3 lacs per annum. In CS branch, the highest package offered was 7 lacs per annum. Overall, the placement percentage was 70%. All the selected students got the joining letter. There was no fake placement.

Overall, my college is best because, I gained a lot of things from there.

Placements: Overall, the placement is 50%. Mostly, seniors are placed in their core companies. The highest salary offered was 3 LPA, and the average was 2.4 LPA. Mostly, Infosys, HCL, Tech Mahindra, Indian Navy recruited the students in placement. Overall, performance is too good because I gained a lot of things from there. The punctuality and time management is the best at this college.

Satisfied with the infrastructure and campus.

Placements: Compared to our batch the placement of seniors was way better. On an average 60% of the students were placed with package ranges from 2-5 LPA. The companies like JBM, Starwire, Mobilotte visited our campus. There's no such policy for the internship here. The placement cell is quite effective.

One of the best private colleges in central UP.

Placements: The placements are good for CSE and IT students. For the mechanical branch, they have bound with some companies like JBM and Star wires which visit the campus every year and hire handful amount of students. I am a mechanical guy who was placed in a CSE/IT company with a good package.

MPEC the member of MPGI is one of the best engineering colleges in Kanpur and Uttar Pradesh.

Placements: Lots of companies for computers science, electronics, mechanical, and a civil branch visit our campus for the recruitment process. In 2016-17 batch, there are 60-65% of the students got placed. A few students are placed in more than one company as per their knowledge and capability. The highest package of the last year(i.e., 2016-17) was 6.5 lakhs per annum. The companies that are visited last year are Tata Motors, JBM, Byju's, Informatica, Capgemini, Mobiloitte, etc.

Absolutely dissatisfied with the fee structure and security money refund. Poor placement and faculty

Placements: The college focus only on fees and imposition of fine. No practicals to understand the concepts. I will not recommend anyone to take admission in this college. Very least placements. Less than 10% placement and from that 10%, most of the companies are from BPO background.

Moderate when compared to the best colleges

Placements: If you really want to know about placements, placements are there but they offer a very low package to students which some of the students didn't take. The package is generally on a range of 1-3 lakhs at least. According to my information, many companies visit and go through the placement drive. Companies are Tata Motors, Infosys, HCL, etc.

Good placement and infrastructure.

Placements: The placement percentage in the college is near about 70. Good companies visit the college for placement, for example, R System, SmartChip Ltd., Nucleus and others. I also got college placement. In my batch, the highest package offered by any company was 7 lacs. Most important thing is that they don't allow you to sit again in the placement drives if you are already selected for any company.
