MGIT is a place where you can achieve things if you are confidence in yourself.

Placements: Placements in the college are not that bad. There are certain companies like TCS, Infosys, Amazon who regularly visit the campus. These companies are for the CSE and IT departments, but for the other branches, there is a low hiring opportunity for the companies. Mechanical placements were somewhat good in recent years.

The college gives good subject knowledge, which is useful to qualify the GATE exam definitely.

Placements: The branch is a beautiful branch, with high quality and experienced faculty. No doubt, in terms of placements it is a bit low because presently for my seniors, only 20% to 30% were placed, but after the completion of their graduation, most of them were qualified GATE and doing their M.Tech in IIT and NITs. Some of them directly got the government jobs, so the placements percentage of the college is low. The placement package criteria are nearly 3 LPA to 3.5 LPA in steel plants, they were well pl...

An engineering college that changes your life.

Placements: The placements were good until the previous years. Many of our seniors got placed in various companies with a handsome salary, but this year, the placements are very poor, and only a few companies have visited our college, and only some of them got placed this year.

So coming to a final overview of the college, I would like to say its a good decent college.

Placements: The placements were good for my super seniors. Almost everyone got placed. The highest package offered is 12 LPA, and the lowest is 2 LPA. My senior batch, the placements have gone down to very low, and getting a job has been very tough. I saw many seniors buddies struggling to get a campus placement. So as per my point of view, the college placements are not that good at present, although the college has a good name in the town and the campus placements are not that good.

Absolutely satisfied with the faculty, I have learned a lot from my college.

Placements: The college is good at that sector in placements. They are forming the placement coordinators and informing the students at any time, so at last, it's good. Our class members are trying to attend the placement and get a job with the highest package or any development sector job.

Education is the hope to rise.

Placements: Top companies are hiring our students. In the year 2017, our seniors have got jobs in many reputed companies. Our college consists of the courses like mechanical, mechatronics, ECE, IT, civil, EEE, CSE, and metallurgy branches. The maximum of 75 companies are conducting placement in our college.

Satisfied with faculty, sports and environment of the college.

Placements: This year, many companies visited our college. Among them, Deloitte, Wipro, Infosys are the top ones with packages starting from 3 LPA to 12 LPA. The placements were good, and even the packages were good. Compared to last year, the percentage of placements increased this year with huge opportunities to the graduate students. The final year students were happy after the placements.

The college climbing to the top.

Placements: Until last year, the placements were very good. But this academic year we didn't have many chances for the graduates, and the final year students. They say that there is still a chance of improvement in the case of placements. Also, the core companies are revisiting the college as they used to do in the beginning.

The campus is good in terms of infrastructure and faculty members.

Placements: The placement was almost nil in the academic year 2017-18 when compared to 2016-17. In previous years, MGIT used to have 50% placement record. The companies like Praveshiyo have visited the campus, but have recruited the students in binary digits. TCS which was a sole recruiter earlier, has stopped visiting the campus.

It's good to join, but I won't recommend joining in the mechanical department in this college.

Placements: 2017-18 is the worst academic year in placements point of view. Amazon BPO job interviews are only the mass recruiter of this year. Many mass recruiting companies like TCS, IBM, Cognizant, etc., didn't hold placement in our college. We are hoping that there would be good placements for the batch 2015-19.

It is an average college to study.

Placements: We're pretty happy with the placements in the last year, where 500 people got placed and the highest package offered was 15 LPA. This year, the placements were not up to the mark. As of now, only 200 people got placed. The average package offered was around 4 LPA.

The facilities are good, the faculty are very helpful, good placements in 2015.

Placements: The placements for my senior batch are above 65%. 30-35% of students were placed. The highest salary is 12 lacs per annum, and the lowest salary is 2.5 lakhs per annum. The average salary is 3.5 lakhs per annum. TCS, startup companies which required C language or .net have visited the campus. The students can participate in any event and can join in any club based on his/her interest. They can clear their doubts by taking the help of faculty. More than 10% of students got an internship from the ...

Life at MGIT is exiting and frustrating at the same time.

Placements: The placements are unpredictable, and it is the case with the most of the colleges except the IITs. Most of the companies visit the college are from IT industry, so they recruit majority from the CSE department. The companies that visit the campus most frequently are TCS, Tech Mahindra, Cognizant and Amazon.

Good facilities and well qualified.

Placements: The placements are not bad, but most of them will get placed with an average pay scale package for at least 20k to 30k per month. The average quality of education is delivered. Most of the top companies would often visit our college. Almost the maximum number of students get placed if their academic background is good.

The college is good at the end what makes the difference is the students' efforts.

Placements: The placements for my super seniors are good(75% of the students have been placed). Coming to my seniors, it has seen a dip. The highest pay scale was around 8 lakhs per annum, and the average scale was nearly 3 lakhs per annum. Most of the students were placed in IT based companies.

A bit satisfied with the education system, but not with the placements

Placements: Some placements do come, but not for out branch. Only software people come but no other groups are placed in their respective fields. The students who want to get placed can only get into software. No other options. Core jobs are not at all available in the college.

Dissatisfied by the placements in 2017. Good infrastructure, facilities, and faculty.

Placements: We had very good placements last year. A total of more than 500 (about 70% of all graduates) were placed, and the highest package was 12 lakhs per annum by Pervacio company, and the average package was 4.5 lakhs per annum. This year, only three companies visited us till now, and 4th-year people completed their first semester, and they are into the second semester. This is the only year we are struggling for placements, but our principal is saying that companies are going to visit as soon as poss...

Mahatma Gandhi Institute of Technology, Gandipet, Hyderabad.

Placements: It offers good placements with best companies. TCS visits mostly in this college. CSE and ECE will have more placements compared to other branches. The average salary package is 3.50 lakhs per annum. In 2016, it has good placements. The companies visit mostly for MGIT are Amazon, TCS, Cognizant, etc.

I expected a lot from MGIT and I would say that no placements and no proper infrastructure provided.

Placements: So far, till November, we got almost fifty placements. There were ten companies which offered these placements. I would expect that there would be 40% of them who will be placed from the whole college. The lowest salary offered was of Rs. 1,50,000 and the highest salary offer is Rs. of Rs. 12,00,000 per annum. The companies which visited our campus were 1) TCS, 2) Amazon, 3) Tech Mahindra, 4) Accenture, 5) Cognizant, 6) Deloitte, 7) Genpact, 8) Wipro, 9) Dr Reddy's, and 10) Sunteck. The students...

The campus placement is not good in this year. So I am expecting further increase in the placements.

Placements: The placements were very less in our college. They were about 25% only but may increase further. The companies that visited our campus are TCS, Infosys, Tech Mahindra, Cognizant, Accenture, Genpact, Suntech, Amazon, Delloite and Hyundai. The highest salary offered is Rs. 12 lakhs per annum, the average salary offered is Rs. 2.5 lakhs per annum, while the lowest salary offered, is Rs. 25,000 per annum. In comparison with other branches, the CSE students are getting placed well. There are very few...
