I had an average experience and above-average placements.

Placements: Nearly 50% of students got placed in our course. But they are not course-related jobs. All are jobs offered are IT-related. The packages offered are between 3.5 to 5 lakhs per annum. Accenture, Wipro, Cognizant, Tech Mahindra, etc., are some of the companies that recruit students in our college.

This is a good college in terms of facilities and teaching but there will be no placements in civil.

Placements: Only 1% of students were placed in civil, and the rest were asked to prepare for coding, and appear for CSE interviews. The average salary package offered was 3 LPA. KDM engineers visit to hire students. Around 70% of students got internships. GHMC, KDM engineers told students to find separately. Site engineer observation and surveying observer were the roles offered.

I am not satisfied with the outdated curriculum and infrastructure.

Placements: A few students got placed in college. Only the circuit branches will get placements, with low packages. Companies like TCS, Cognizant, Deloitte, Accenture, Doubtnut, etc., came here. There will be no internships offered. I passed out in 2020 from mechanical engineering.

I am not satisfied because of the change in management during the last 2 years.

Placements: Only the students who took circuit branches were get placed, and the students who took non-circuit branches were not placed. TCS, Accenture, Doubnut, Deloitte were some of the recruitment companies. Most of the students got internships in private companies. College doesn't provide any internships to the students.

I am not satisfied because of the college environment available during 2018-2020.

Placements: I have studied in the mechanical course and passed out in 2020. Salary packages offered are very low for this stream. The campus environment was very good in the starting years, but later, it became worse, especially new principal. Recruiters visit here also show less interest.

Review of Mahatma Gandhi Institute of Technology.

Placements: You can expect placements from our college. The average salary package offered is around 3.5 LPA if you got selected in the placement cell. Other than CSE and ECE branches, availability of the placements for other group students is less as expected.

Absolutely dissatisfied because of placements and infrastructure.

Placements: Placements are not up to the mark in our college. Only circuit branches students get good Placements and the highest package lies around 18-20 Lacs and the average package is around 4-5 Lacs per annum. It is very difficult for civil and mechanical guys to get a placement in college it's almost impossible, the only chance trying to get a non core jobs like software jobs and there is no encouragement for internships. Only few companies like Deloitte, byjus, TCS, wipro, L&T visit for placements.

Overall, the college is not bad compared to other colleges.

Placements: Students should score minium 60% in their academics to get placed. The average salary package ranges from 4 to 8 LPA. Top recruiting companies are TCS, Deloitte, L&T, Cognizant, etc. In the ECE branch, the salary package offered ranges from 4 to 6 LPA in core companies. Very few students got an internship from our course.

Overall, it is an average college.

Placements: It's an average college with average grades and average faculty. Coming to placements, only a few students were selected and that too not in the core companies. They were placed in some software companies. Only a few placement programs are conducted in the college and that too are a waste of time.

I conclude that my college is average in all aspects.

Placements: As I observed in my college, there were no adequate placements in my college. The previous batchmates have good placements, but we don't have good placements and enough internships. We were not able to do internships in government sector companies. Our college is not providing the internships to our branch because of some reasons so that we are feeling bad about our college, so as in the point of placements, we are not able to get good placements in our college.

The campus is good in terms of infrastructure and faculty members.

Placements: The placement was almost nil in the academic year 2017-18 when compared to 2016-17. In previous years, MGIT used to have 50% placement record. The companies like Praveshiyo have visited the campus, but have recruited the students in binary digits. TCS which was a sole recruiter earlier, has stopped visiting the campus.

It is an average college to study.

Placements: We're pretty happy with the placements in the last year, where 500 people got placed and the highest package offered was 15 LPA. This year, the placements were not up to the mark. As of now, only 200 people got placed. The average package offered was around 4 LPA.
