The sad reality of private colleges.

Placements: Nearly 80% of students got placed in our college. The highest package offered in our college was nearly 12 LPA, and the average package offered in our college was around 4-4.5 LPA. The percentage of students who got internships was very low; most of us got internships from LinkedIn.

Our college provides low quality education.

Placements: Our college does not provide placements and internships. There are no top MNCs to recruit students. CSE is a bit better than other courses but there is no scope for a better future even for CSE.

The college has average faculty and infrastructure, and very few facilities.

Placements: Mallareddy Institution of Engineering and Technology, Kompally, provides less placements. The average package offered is 4 Lacs per annum. Every year, around 200+ students get placed. The highest package offered is 4.7 LPA by Infosys. The top recruiters are TCS, Infosys, Wipro, Unschool, Cogzinant, HCl, Amazon, etc., come here.

Students get less exposure to the outside world and knowledge in this college.

Placements: Very few companies started coming to our college two years before, but they recruited fewer students with a less salary package. These salary packages are not even worth the college fee that we pay. Other students visit another campus to attend placements interviews.

Review of Malla Reddy Institute of Engineering and Technology, Secunderabad.

Placements: I don't know about placements because none of the top companies recruited students from our course. Maximum students are placed from the CSE department, and for others, they even won't get to be placed. The highest salary package offered will be around 7 LPA. The college does not provide internship programs.

If you want to enjoy rather than studies, then go for this college

Placements: There are no placements in this college. Overall, in Malla Reddy, 8+ colleges are there. They will send all of their campus students into one building that is the main campus in whole Malla Reddy Group. They will select only the students of their own building or their own campus. They will give preference to the Malla Reddy main campus only, not other campus students.

I had a very bad experience.

Placements: No company visits our college directly but we can attend drives conducted in other colleges of Mallareddy group. Mostly MRCET and MREC are the ones which have the maximum number of drives. Our management doesn't allow for internships, even though they don't need to pay anything but just provide an NOC. Thus we have no experience in real time and that's why many of us struggle to get placed in core sectors. While coming to the placements, till date nearly 40 students out of 3*180 (CSE, ECE, EEE...

One of the worst colleges in Hyderabad, I got admission in this college through EAMCET exam, Actually there was another college with the same name, I confused it for another college (there are 14 colleges, Only one is good), Actually most of my friends did, So the moment I joined, I knew my future was at bleak, and actually it is. In fact the only person ever profited is the chairman Mallareddy. The faculty usually involves average people who were not able to get any decent jobs, and are waitin...
