Our college has good faculty and labs, but it lacks in providing the industry exposure.

Placements: Placements provided for the students of our batch are fine. In my batch, about 30% of the students got placed with the highest salary of 1.2 LPA. The lowest package offered was 1 LPA. Only nine companies visited our campus for placements. Trainee engineer roles are offered for the students at their respective places.

Our college has nice Infrastructure, but the placements are average.

Placements: There are no placements in our college. I believe that our college has nothing to do with placements because the placements in our college depend on the calibre of students. I personally feel that we are not capable enough to get placed. Some students perform extremely well. They got placed in good companies in a good position.

Faculty are amazing, but the placements are bad.

Placements: Very few students get placed every year from our college. The students who got placed, also get offers from local firms present in Punjab. The college mainly focuses on the placements of engineering students. Not much attention is given to the students of B.Com. I advise you not to do B.Com in this college.

Review of Malout Institute of Management and Information Technology.

Placements: There are no placements in our college. I haven't seen any placements in 3 years of my college life. No one got placed in a good company with a good package. Even companies like Wipro, Infosys, etc., come to our college to conduct placements. They offered a package of Rs. 12,000 per month and the location of the job offered was in Delhi. No one can afford to live in Delhi with a salary of Rs. 12,000.

Placements in our college are very bad.

Placements: The packages offered for mechanical engineering students were the least compared to all other branches. The average package is 1 LPA. It is offered only for 6-7 students, and the rest of the students are jobless. There's no future after completing B.Tech in mechanical engineering from our college.

It is a good college, if you work hard.

Placements: Placements provided by the college are average. The college supports the students in all possible ways. But, the students couldn't perform up to the mark. I have seen many seniors getting placed in Infosys with a package of 5.6 LPA. Wipro, IBM and other companies present in Chandigarh, visit our campus to conduct placements.

It is a good college if you don't have any other options to choose.

Placements: I think the placements in our college are good if we consider the location of the college, which is in a small city. So, don't expect the same placements which occur in Chandigarh University. Around, 50-60% of the students get placed every year. But, the college keeps changing its tie-ups with the companies. So, the placement is not assured for everyone.

Overall, the college is average, and I am satisfied with this college.

Placements: The placements on the campus were good at our time. Some of the students got placed in IBM, Infosys, and Wipro. At that time, these reputed companies frequently visited our campus for placements, but year by year, the number of companies visiting the campus for placements is changing. Some local companies are also providing placements to students on the campus.

The college is satisfactory for average students.

Placements: The placements on the campus are below average, and the number of students getting placed is decreasing year by year. Some students got placed in reputed companies on their own. The college has done nothing for the students who are currently working abroad, so the placements somehow depend on your calibre.

I am quite satisfied with MIMIT.

Placements: The placements in MIMIT are average. The placements completely depend on the student's calibre. The college tries its best to provide opportunities for its students. Companies like Infosys and IBM visited the campus last year, and some of the students got placed in the local companies as well. The package offered to the students was around 3 LPA.

Review of Malout Institute of Management and Information Technology.

Placements: The placements play an important role in every student's life. They are must to the students who deserve it. Students who have different skill sets can get placed easily through the campus placements. Many companies visit the college every year and take interviews to provide placements to the graduates.

The infrastructure is really good, and the campus has friendly environment.

Placements: The placements were excellent for my seniors. The minimum salary offered was Rs. 10,000 per month and the maximum was Rs. 30,000 per month. The college has a placement cell. Students are placed at high positions in many multinational companies with good packages. Our training and placement cell officer guides us at every step. Companies visit our college and organise various seminars regarding placements.

I am quite satisfied with the faculty and the Surroundings.

Placements: The placements are average. Our batch is going to face campus interviews Next year, But placements of our seniors and superseniors are average. They got packages like 4-5 lac per year in NCR based companies and some of the companies are from Chandigarh. Around 65% of students were placed from their batch.

Best college in malout for B.Tech.

Placements: Placements were not up to the mark in 2014 but faculty of MIMIT is putting remarkable efforts in improving placement cell and also they have improved now. This year some of the atudents have been placed in Tech Mahindra company. The ratio op small scale companies placing students is more than that of large MNCs.

Good in it's region. Can be better.

Placements: The placements are not up to the mark, but the companies do visit here. Not many MNCs, but mainly the startups which are quite good as it makes your exposure more and more noticeable to big corporate giants. Overall, placements can be given 5 out of 10. Seriously speaking, you won't get an exposure of the internships.

Review of government college MIMIT, Malout.

Placements: Normal placements. Students need to work hard for their placements. There are many companies which visited the college campus last year such as Cetpa Pvt. Ltd., Aptron Pvt. Ltd and much more. The college is also providing a Cisco Academy. The students who are willing to join the networking field can join this academy through the college.

It is a government college located in the grain market of Malout, near the bus stand. It has two buildings. One building is for the 1st year students and other for the remaining students. Students from different states come to study here. The faculty members are well educated and the placements are average. The hostel facility is also provided in the college. There are separate hostels for girls and boys.

Review of Malout Institute of Management and Information Technology.

Placements: Placements provided for students were below average. Most of the students did not accept the company offers because it was not good enough for an MBA student. But teachers were supportive and gave all their efforts to place students in companies.
