If you have financial problem or want a degree from Govt Engineering college, then come here.

Placements: 20% students got placed in campus placement. Most of the seniors are trying for off-campus placement. No big MNC companies come here. Companies like Infosys, TCS, and Infotech come here. Also, a huge number of students are trying to clear exams like GATE, CAT, and IELTS for higher studies. Recently, the highest package is 14 LPA and the lowest is 1.2 LPA.

Good infrastructure and facilities with average packages.

Placements: Placements are not that good at our college. Almost 30% of students got placed this year in my course. The highest package was 10 LPA, the medium was 4 LPA, and the lowest was around 1.5 LPA. Recruiting companies were Thinknext, Infotech, Infosys, etc., which provided mass recruitment. No on-campus internship is available here; students join different internships by searching off-campus. Many students sit for IELTS and move to foreign countries. A number of students went to Canada after taking t...

Poor placement and culture .

Placements: Less then 10% campus placement. Most of the seniors took off campus placements but are placed in good companies. Only local companies approaches. The highest package last year was approximately 9 LPA and least package was 4-5 LPA but there too are students who get better then this although this year there was such students because of online classes.

Good value for money in this college.

Placements: About 50% students get placed every year with average of 3.5 LPA. Companies like enAct and logicapt come for campus placement while some meritorious students get placed for 14-15 LPA in companies like zscaler and hackerrank. The highest package offered last year was for 17 LPA and the lowest was for 2.5 LPA.

Faculty are good and their teaching methods are good. Last year, I placed in the company easily.

Placements: In our college, almost 70% of students got paced. The highest salary package offered was 4.5 LPA, the lowest salary package offered was 2.5 LPA and the average salary package offered was 2 LPA. Top recruiting companies offered are TCS, Wipro and Infosys. There is no company in our college that offers an internship.

Dissatisfied because of learning environment.

Placements: My Batch is a 2018 Computer Science Student. Around less than 5% placed in our courses. The highest package in our course is around 1.8 Lacs. The only company recruiting from our course is Chotu Sharma Pvt. Ltd. No student got an Internship from our college. Top roles are an analyst in our course.

I am dissatisfied with placement records and faculty members.

Placements: Our college has very poor placement records, and top recruiting companies do not visit our college. It is an autonomous college, so help is provided by the government to increase their placement records. After completing this course, no industry showed interest in hiring freshers without having any extra skills. It is quite impossible to survive in the market.

In last I would like to tell that, the success and the failure is only in the hand of a student.

Placements: Out of 75 students max 2,3 students get placed, because faculty members are not so much interested in that part, they are only interested in the other curriculum activities like, youth functions, games, giving the assignment all the times,. Practical files but without giving any practical knowledge.

The review of Malout Institute of Management and Information Technology.

Placements: Placements depend up on the students. If you have good skills, then you can get placed through off-campus placement drives. Only small-scale and local companies visit the campus for placements. If you want to get placed in a good company after the completion of B.Tech, then please don't take admission in this college.

Amazing infrastructure of college building.

Placements: Placements are not up to the mark in my batch. But in past placements were pretty good. In this batch around 40% student were placement which is not upto the mark the highest salary offered to student is around (5-6 lacs per annum) and the lowest is (1.5-2.0 lacs). And average package around (2.5-3.0lacs ). Number of companies visited for placement like ICICI BANK, Infosus pvt. Ltd, infotech private. Ltd etc. Basic role offer to fresher like quality manager and basic developer in technical field...

Choose the college carefully.

Placements: Overall, the placements aren't held in our college. As on the role of TPO, there is a TPO in our college, but it doesn't take responsibility to get students' placed in the companies. Students are trying on their own to get placed in various companies. There are no placements in our college.

Overall, the college is satisfactory.

Placements: Placements in Malout Institute of Management and Information Technology are average. A very few companies from Chandigarh and Mohali visit our campus every year. The average package offered is around 2-2.5 LPA, the highest package reaches up to 5 LPA, and the lowest package is up to 1.5 LPA. Every student gets an internship or training opportunity. Around 50% of the students get placed every year. The training and placement cell is very useful.

The college has good faculty and average placements.

Placements: In MIMIT, the placements are average. I'm in the second year, but I can tell you about the placements of my seniors. Every year, about 40-45% of the students get placed in the college placements. The highest salary package offered was 4 LPA, the lowest was 1.5 LPA, and the average package offered was in between 2 LPA to 2.5 LPA. Last week, Impinge Solutions visited and hired two students. In the upcoming weeks, companies like Solitaire and Infosys will visit the college to offer the placements. ...

Nice infrastructure and facilities.

Placements: The placements of the college are average, and around 50% of the students got placed last year. The interviews are still going on this year. The average package offered is 2-3 lacs per annum. There is a very efficient TPO cell. Placements in mechanical engineering are tough, and it is based on your efforts only.

I suggest you to choose some other streams like CSE or ECE.

Placements: The college provides a few placement opportunities for the students of the mechanical engineering department when compared with other departments. I suggest you not to choose the mechanical department if you are looking to take admission in MIMIT. If you still want to choose the mechanical department, you must have some extraordinary skills.

The faculty members are good, and the infrastructure is average.

Placements: The college has good placements record. Most of the students were placed in different companies in different fields. There is a placement cell, and it works under the guidance of the placement training officer, and this plays an important role in the student's life.

Satisfactory and an average college.

Placements: Placements in our college are average. Students from our college got placed in various local firms in malout. Some got placed in infosys and ibm and in some other Delhi ncr based companies. Students pursuing M.Tech will also be placed at great places in near future. Average salary is around 1.5-2.5 lac per year.

Not satisfied with the placements in the college.

Placements: Placements for ME students are very poor in our college. Very few students were placed from our seniors batch. The packages offered by the companies are also very low. The companies that recruited students are local companies. The placements of other departments are better than that of mechanical.

Satisfied with the faculty but placements on the campus are not good.

Placements: Last year, some of our super seniors got placed through the campus placements but didn't get high salary packages as they were average. They were placed in some local companies, and an average salary package was offered which is around 1 LPA to 2 LPA. TPO tries its best to get students placed on the campus placements, and they are supportive in that matter.

Good college which can turn students into good readers, learners and speakers.

Placements: Placements depend on the knowledge of the students and number of companies that visit the college. I don't have any idea about the salary packages offered. Many students from our senior batch were placed in reputed companies. Many local companies visit our college and offer salary packages up to 10 LPA.
