    A:

Is B.E./B.Tech at MCE Worth the Investment?

Based on the reviews and feedback from students and alumni, here's what we can conclude:

Infrastructure and Facilities: The college has good infrastructure, with well-maintained labs, libraries, and facilities. However, some reviewers noted that the hostel food could improve.

Teaching and Faculty: Most faculty members are knowledgeable, experienced, and willing to help students. While some may focus more on toppers, there are efforts to engage academically weaker students too.

Placements: The college has a dedicated placement cell, and most students get placed within six months of graduation. The average salary package ranges from INR3-7 LPA, with top companies like Wipro, TCS, and others visiting the campus.

Campus Life: The college has a peaceful campus, with ample opportunities for extracurricular activities, events, and fests. Reviewers appreciated the availability of facilities, such as Wi-Fi, laboratories, and transportation.

Value-for-Money: Despite being a private institution, the fees seem reasonable compared to the benefits received. However, some reviewers felt that the college tries to "loot" money from students.

In conclusion, studying B.E./B.Tech at MCE appears to be a worthwhile investment for those interested in pursuing a career in computer Science and engineering. With its good infrastructure, decent faculty, and satisfactory placement record, the college offers a positive learning experience. However, potential students should weigh the pros and cons carefully before making a decision.

    Good college with beautiful infrastructure.
Placements: About 80% of students were placed after graduation. The top roles offered were mechanical engineer and assistant mechanical engineer. About 75% of students got internships during the course. The highest salary offered was Rs. 45,000 per month, and the lowest salary offered was Rs. 25,000 per month.
Infrastructure: The college facilities, especially the smart classrooms and labs, are good. The library has a lot of books, and the college provides Wi-Fi. The food in the mess was acceptable, and medical facilities were provided. There is also space for sports and games.
Faculty: The teachers are very helpful, qualified, and hardworking. They provide the best quality of teaching, and they make students more knowledgeable. The course curriculum is relevant, and it makes students industry-ready. The semester exams are a little tough, but the teachers are very helpful.
Other: I want to take this course because I am interested in mechanical engineering. The college provides events like Tech Fest, Auto Show, Arts and Sports, and College Day.

A journey of knowledge and friendship at Mangalam College.
Placements: The college boasts a placement rate of around 80%, which is commendable for engineering programs. Top recruiters include TCS, Infosys, Wipro, and Accenture, among others. The average salary package is around RS 5-6 lakh per annum, with top performers receiving offers as high as RS 10 lakh. Many students get internships through college strong industry connections, with placements at firms like IBM and local startups. I personally benefitted from the guidance provided by the placement cell, which helped me land an internship that led to a full-time officer.
Infrastructure: The classrooms are spacious and well ventilated, equipped with modern teaching aids like projectors and smart boards. The laboratories are well maintained. WiFi is available throughout the campus, ensuring students can access resources. The college offers both single and shared accommodation options with rooms that are generally spacious and comfortable. The dining hall serves a variety of nutritious meals catering to different dietary preferences and maintaining good hygiene products.
Faculty: The faculty at Mangalam College of Engineering consists of highly qualified professionals, many of whom hold advanced degrees and have significant industry experience. The curriculum is regularly updated to pace with industry trends, ensuring that students are equipped with relevant skills and knowledge.
Other: Overall, my experience in the Computer Science program with my batch was enriching and fulfilling, providing both academic 120 students and fostering a close-knit community.

Basic Infrastructure, Average Facilities, but Good Placement Opportunities in CSE.
Placements: At Mangalam College for CSE, over 80% of students were placed, with packages ranging from 2.5 LPA (the lowest) to 8 LPA (the highest). The average package is around 3.5 LPA. Top recruiters include TCS, Infosys, and Wipro, offering roles in software development and data analysis. Approximately 60% gained internships, notably with TCS and IBM.
Infrastructure: Mangalam College's CSE labs and classrooms are basic and outdated, with hostel facilities rated average due to maintenance issues and weak Wi-Fi. Hostel mess food lacks variety and taste, often repeating menu with poor cleanliness, leaving students largely dissatisfied.
Faculty: Mangalam's CSE faculty is generally helpful and qualified, with average teaching quality. The curriculum is somewhat industry-relevant but may lack practical exposure for full readiness. Semester exams are moderately difficult, and pass rates are typically high, around 85-90%.

The Mangalam Hills: the uphill treasure.
Placements: The branch of Computer Science and Engineering in the college provides a well-organized placement drive every year. The top recruiters for the branch were Wipro, TCS, etc. The college management also provides training and mock interviews, which help 90% of students to crack the interviews.
Infrastructure: The Department of Computer Science and Engineering provides very good infrastructure for the students. The department has four well-maintained, air-conditioned computer labs, Wi-Fi service for the students, and a department library. Apart from the computer lab, the department has a microprocessor lab and a networking lab.
Faculty: The faculty members are well-trained and capable of conveying the topics to the students in a good manner. They provide us 24*7 support for clearing our doubts and also help us in conducting various extracurricular activities. The department has two internal exams every semester with a score of 50, and a university exam every semester.
Other: The campus has a peaceful vibe that helps us to focus more on studies. The college also has NSS and NCC units which help the students maintain leadership and discipline in their lives. Additionally, the college conducts an annual technical and cultural fest and a sports meet every year with the help of the college students' union.

I am satisfied because of the good placements, teaching and good facilities.
Placements: Almost 50% of the students who get placed are from this college. The highest salary package offered was above 1 LPA, the lowest salary package offered was below Rs. 10k per month and the average salary package offered was up to 50k per month. Top companies like Wipro, L&T, InfoPark etc., recruited almost half of the students. Top role was developer
Infrastructure: Our college has many facilities, including labs, Wi-Fi, classrooms, a library, seminar halls, conference rooms, etc. Ambulance for medical facilities is available. Canteen food was good. giving the best opportunity to students who are capable of sports and games. Overall, there is good infrastructure .
Faculty: There is a good quality of teaching. It doesn't make students industry-ready and we need to work hard to reach higher positions for a high salary. Exams depend on the university, and we couldn't imagine if exams were easier or not. The passing percentage is more than 65% .
Other: I chose civil engineering because there are good job opportunities. Nothing Every event will happen according to the date given by university.

Very bad experience from this college I wouldn't suggest this as I am suffering now.
Placements: Students who pass out without a backlog get placed in various sectors. The Mechanical department is not getting placed with high salaries initially. Even though placements are offered by companies like Suzuki, Volkswagen, Tata, and many others, the starting package is below INR 25,000. Internships are provided by many companies such as CIPET, Yamaha, Tata, KTM, and Royal Enfield. The top roles provided are Sales Executive, Chief Mechanical, Supervisor, etc.
Infrastructure: The workshop and labs have sufficient equipment, although they are not well maintained. Overall, the infrastructure is average. The college has Wi-Fi facilities, but students are not allowed to use mobile phones on campus. Both the department library and the college library are well established and fully functional. The hostel food is very disappointing and hard to tolerate. The facilities are average, but food is the main issue. Rooms are equipped with 2 fans, 4 cots, 4 study tables, and 2 cupboards. All rooms are ventilated and in good condition.
Faculty: Most of the teachers are qualified with only a Master's degree, and only a few have Ph.D. qualifications. The staff is willing to give their best, but the teaching style and attitude are poor. They come, teach, and leave without forming any relationship with the students. My college life has been horrible and boring. The college doesn't conduct many programs on its own, and it uses student money for events. Students require permission from the HOD even for small things.
Other: I wouldn't suggest this college if you want to enjoy your college life. It is not as advertised or portrayed on social media. I just wanted to finish the course and leave.
