Well worth the money spent on this college. With decent infrastructure and other modern facilities, this college tops the private engineering colleges in the city. Ideally located, not too far from the city center, the college seems to give a good scenic beauty with well-maintained surroundings etc. Excellent faculty, good facilities, well maintained library etc. makes it a great place to learn.

Being one of the best private colleges in Trivandrum, Mar Baselios College has always excelled in bringing up fresh engineering graduates with a cultural refinement. Excellent track record since its foundation in 2001, Mar Baselios has been successful in placing their graduates in various fields, both Engineering and non-engineering. Better infrastructure facility, workshops, lab facilities are other features to be highlighted. The college management was also very particular in choosing the righ...

The civil engineering dept. is the best dept. out of all other branches in this college with the best in class facilities and highly qualified faculty members. The life at Baselios isn't that fun as you would expect from your college life. A bit strict campus under the Malankara priests. You can't bunk classes too much. If you do teachers will start hating you and lower your sessional marks. If you are good at studies then this is the best college for you. Crossroads and Utbhav fests are the bes...

The college is well disciplined. The management does a very good job in managing the college well, very few class disruptions. The college enables to maintain a good atmosphere for studying as well as for pursuing all sorts of extra-curricular activities. The management is usually supportive for any special projects/endeavors the students want to undertake. The grounds for playing are awesome as well. The college has the best basketball team in Kerala. The hostel is good providing very good food...

Mar Baselios is one of the best private engineering colleges in Trivandrum. Probably ranked at the top among the private Institutions and third after two Government engineering colleges. Excellent infrastructure, well maintained labs, library, canteen etc. makes it a top notch among others.

Good college. Though started in 2009, positioned below 60 ranking among 149 engineering colleges in Kerala. M.Tech is also offered. There is arts, sports, tech fest etc. Good infra-structure. Good climatic condition. Though some faculties being inexperienced, H.O.Ds are well experienced.

Absolutely dissatisfied due to poor management, environment-friendly, and good infrastructure.

Placements: 15 people out of 80 students had placements. The lowest package was 20,000 rupees, the average was 50,000 rupees, and the highest was 100,000 rupees. Top recruiting companies include Bosch, Federal Bank, and a Gulf IT company. All students had internships from my course in companies like KSRTC, Yamaha, etc. Top roles offered in the course include bank clerk and PO post.

Not a fun college for an extrovert, but a heaven for an introvert.

Placements: Though the college has a great reputation in and around Trivandrum, I personally felt it to be an average college. Safety against ragging is a complete guarantee. For civil engineering students, the placements are really tight and meager. But the students can appear for the CS placements if they are interested. Almost all the packages, to my understanding, have provided a minimum salary of INR 20,000 and a maximum salary of INR 30,000. Some of the companies are L&T, Infosys, Tata, and Thoughtlin...

Our college provides very good experiences to students.

Placements: Our college provided good placements for students. Teachers were helpful to students in preparing for placements. Most of the students got internships at Technopark which is located in Kazhakuttam.

Good in terms of private finance colleges.

Placements: No placements were there for the civil batch. Most of the core companies value experience as the placement criteria. The soft skills add the points. IT companies visit college. Almost 20% of students in my class got placed, but they opted not to go because it is not a core field.
