Q:   What to do after JEE Main session 2 result?

A:

Candidates preparing for IITs are only required to appear for the JEE Advanced entrance exam after qualifying JEE Main. Students who who secure above the 98th percentile in JEE Main 2024 Session 2 should start preparing for JEE Advanced 2025 immediately. Those who score between 95th and 98th percentile should focus on improving their JEE Main score by taking multiple mock tests and practicing previous year's question papers. By analysing their strengths and weaknesses, candidates can identify their areas of proficiency and topics where they need improvement. If they can achieve full marks in their practice sessions, they can start preparing for JEE Advanced. However, if they cannot score full marks, it is recommended that they appear for multiple mock test series for more practice.

MMCOE Unfiltered Review by a First-Year Student.
Placements: Almost 60% students get placed, the highest package on campus was 10 LPA. Many students go for off-campus placement and internship; the highest package off-campus was 54 LPA. I don't know the exact percentage of students who get internships, but many of my seniors are doing paid internships.
Infrastructure: The faculty members are well qualified, many teachers have Ph.D. and many have done M.Sc. Teachers are very cooperative but strict at the same time. Computer labs are well-equipped and maintained. Classrooms are good, every class has a smartboard and blackboard too. The library is very well maintained, contains many books related to academics, though extra books are less.
Faculty: Teachers are very good, well qualified, and helpful anytime. Teaching is awesome. Since the college has become autonomous, they have made many positive changes in the syllabus. They made the syllabus more interactive and industry-relevant. The first semester was moderate, and the passing was 40%.

Review of Marathwada Mitra Mandal's College of Engineering.
Placements: I am an undergrad student of mechanical engineering in Marathwada Mitra Mandal's College of Engineering Pune. There was 90% placement in our college. We have Tata Technologies, Cognizant, and Mahindra as top recruiters. In my course, almost all students got internships in top institutions.
Infrastructure: I was in the hostel for the first year of my engineering. The overall experience was good. If we talk about facilities, there is Wi-Fi, a library, and a special study area for hostel students. The food quality of the canteen is really good. There is medical assistance always ready for students in the hostel.
Faculty: We have a very supportive faculty. They are always ready to guide us and help us not only related to academics but also with our ideas and and innovation-related guidance. The course curriculum is not that much relevant to industrial requirements. We have to learn more skills, which are top requirements of the industry.
Other: There are many fests conducted in our college, which are very interesting to be part of. The crowd here is very sincere. One thing I think should improve about my course is that they should teach us more skills, which will help us in the future.

A true and honest guide to MMCOE
Placements: Placement records are not that good. Companies that visit College offer 3 lpa, 4lpa packages. Internship support is also very weak. They just provide any random places to apply where nobody gets selected. Highest package was 51 lpa in 2023. But that too was off campus. Good campus placement is a myth.
Infrastructure: All the facilities required for education are there. Canteen and mess food is worst. College has no auditorium. Ground is smaller than a turf. Talking about medical facility, there are checkups and all going on. The labs for my course are well equipped but needs little improvement.
Faculty: The best part about College is that the faculty is experienced and supportive. The teaching quality, knowledgeability of teachers is on point. Course curriculum is totally irrelevant because we are still under SPPU. Hopefully the next batch will get good syllabus as we are turning autonomous. Passing percentage is good.
Other: Campus is very small. No proper sports facilities, no auditorium, no scope to enjoy College life. Crowd is good though.

Exploring MMCOE Pune: Opportunities and Career Growth.
Placements: Percentage of students placed: Approximately 70% of students in the course were placed. The average package is 5 - 5.5 LPA. Many product and service-based companies visit MMCOE Pune. Around 75% of students secure their first internship from MMCOE Pune. Roles offered are AI/ML or AI/DS engineer, Data Analyst, Software Developer, etc.
Infrastructure: The entire campus, including the AIDS Department, is equipped with high-speed Wi-Fi, ensuring uninterrupted internet access for research and project work. Labs and Classrooms: Labs are very quick with high-performance systems featuring updated hardware configurations and pre-installed software like Python, MATLAB, and TensorFlow for AI and Data Science applications. Classrooms are spacious with smartboards and projectors for interactive learning. Hostel and Mess: Hostel rooms are a decent size, shared among three to six students per room with basic furniture like a bed, study table, and cupboard. Mess food is hygienic but repetitive, with limited variety in the menu, and offers vegetarian meals only.
Faculty: The faculty at MMCOE Pune are generally qualified and approachable, with many professors holding advanced degrees. They are knowledgeable and focus on both theoretical concepts and practical applications; however, a few rely heavily on traditional methods, which could be improved for better engagement. Semester Exams: The semester exams are moderately difficult, with a mix of theoretical and application-based questions. Regular study and practice make them manageable for most students. The pass percentage is 80-90%, reflecting good overall academic performance.

A true and complete guide to MMCOE .
Placements: The campus placement is pretty bad. Companies that come on campus offer 3-5 LPA max. Internship support is pathetic. They just give random sits to apply where no one gets selected. The highest package was 51 LPA in 2023, that too through off-campus. Good campus placement is a myth. More than 50 percent were not placed.
Infrastructure: Facilities necessary for education are there, but the infrastructure is not at all good. The ground is as small as a turf, too, with vehicles parked on it. Classrooms and labs are good, but there is no auditorium. The canteen and mess food are absolutely below par.
Faculty: The best part is that we have good faculty in our course. They are quite supportive, experienced, and knowledgeable. The curriculum is absolutely pathetic and not relevant because we are still under SPPU. Semester exams are not that hard. The passing percent is quite good.
Other: The campus is smaller than the millennium school besides the campus. The crowd is good, but there is no college life to enjoy.
