For studying it will be good but lack of enjoyment.
Placements: Placements:
Out of 80 seats, there are only 60 were placed in my batch, and for my junior batch, still less. Course the highest is nearly 4 Lacs, and lowest is 80000. There is no recruiting company. Okay, the average is great nothing more than that okay.
Infrastructure: There are Wi-Fi facilities and a smart classroom, library book about architecture. The hostel facilities are good, and the food is also nice, no issue or problem with any of that qualities since it is strick to enter the hostel before 6.30. nothing other than that.
Faculty: Teaching is likely good, but also there are newcomers to the teaching field, so there will be some issues. Another is a good pass percentage, they will teach very nice and well-trained faculty members with no problem with any teaching and nice interaction between the teachers and students.
Other: I like architecture since it is a professional course, and I like design. Feast on campus is comparatively less than in other colleges.

It is one of the best colleges to study architecture.
Placements: It is one of best architecture colleges in Kerala which is under CUSAT University. Our batch contains 80 students in which 80% of students get internships under the famous architectural firms in Kerala and outside Kerala such as habitat technology of respected Ar. G Shankar sir. Many students started their own firms now. University rank holders are from our college.
Infrastructure: It is a large compound that includes Marian Arts College, B.Ed college, Marian Engineering College, and Marian College of Architecture. Excellent facilities are provided like Wi-Fi, a library, computer labs, classrooms, and other rooms for keeping the study materials for each subject like climatology, water supply, survey, etc. Hostel facilities are provided within the college for both girls and boys. Sapthathi ladies' hostel is provided for girls. It serves very good food. Sisters take care of the hostel and the boy's hostel is taken care of by the priest. Breakfast, lunch, supper, and snacks are served. Our college has a medical room for all the first aid facilities. There are courts to play basketball and a stadium.
Faculty: Faculty members in our college are experienced and qualified with B.Arch, M.Arch, and M.Plan because both architects and engineers teach students. They explain very well and are helpful for students whenever needed. Architecture industry is growing, so if we hard work we get good roles. After each semester exam is conducted, all the portions will be covered by the faculty members.
Other: I chose this course because I love arts and at the starting, I struggled but now I love this course very much because of the faculty members and their support. Our college has to explore more buildings. Events and fests are very well conducted.

It's an average college and especially for those coming under categories.
Placements: About 53% of the students were placed. The highest package offered was 4.2 lacs per annum.
Infoblox, Manorama, Hindu times were the companies coming for placements. Around 10% of students only got internships.
Top roles offered are based on managerial skills, presentation skills, language comprehension and analytical ability.
Infrastructure: Mess facility, playground, and well-equipped hostels. Labs are good but don't have ACs, classrooms are well-furnished, the medical facility is unavailable. The canteen is average, the hostel is strict with no entry after 7 pm. Quality wise hostels can be termed as nice but due to its over strictness, it cannot be recommended.
Faculty: The teachers are qualified but their method of teaching does not reflect upon their qualification. The course is relevant but not regarding placements as they themselves stress upon attaining higher education. In order to gain experience, it is good.
Other: Fests are nice and enjoyable, one of the plus points of this college.

Dissatisfied because of the management, but good faculty members. No events.
Placements: Since its an architecture college placement options are replaced by the chances of performing well in internship firms where we had a chance to practice. 50% pass percentage in 2021 and top rankings in CUSAT university. First three ranks have been secured from our college. The students can choose any path after architecture.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi facilitation, Hostels with mess and Canteen for the college. Food not up to the mark in hostels. Have grounds but no time to play. Library facilities and lab facilities are great. Have workshops, labs with no functioning. The safety feature of the college is risky. The college roof has glass tops that had fallen twice and has the ability to kill a student and no changes have been made yet.
Faculty: Faculty members are well trained and skilled. But Management just ruins the course and college. Management doesn't even know what architecture is and considers the course similar to engineering. They don't even allow us to conduct major programmes. If you want to enjoy architecture better go for the other option. If you want a tight learning schedule with no other activities the college suits you. The management shows no regret in taking money from you and provides zero interests to student activities and events. Even though our faculty members are efficient they are not capable of offering us their complete skills due to the barriers set by the college management. Even the greatest fest of Architecture that is the zonal NASA convention programme conducted by bringing in the south zone architecture colleges were just ruined by the set of policies laid down by the Management. The student funds which we are intended to pay during the time of admission could not be taken unless the manager signs it. The works and installations done by the students are even considered as a burden by the college management. If you seek a disciplined strict and ordered curriculum better come to Marian and if you want to know and explore what architecture is please go find a better option.
