Is B.E./B.Tech at Matoshri Pratishthan Group of Institutions Worth the Investment?

Here's a summary of the pros and cons:

    Pros:
    * Good infrastructure with a comfortable hostel, food, and recreational facilities
    * Faculty members are generally helpful, qualified, and experienced
    * Course curriculum is relevant and prepares students for the industry
    * Good quality of life with access to facilities like Wi-Fi (except in one case)

    Cons:
    * Placements could be improved, with only 5% of students getting placed in the past
    * Salary packages are relatively low, with most being around INR1.5 Lacs per annum
    * Limited internship opportunities, even though many students secured internships on their own
    * Some faculty members may not be up-to-date with their qualifications or teaching methods
    * Not all departments (e.g., Electrical) have equal performance

In conclusion, while Matoshri Pratishthan Group of Institutions offers a decent education experience, its placement record and salary packages leave room for improvement. Students should weigh these factors carefully before deciding whether investing in this institution is worthwhile for them.

Course Curriculum at Matoshri Pratishthan Group of Institutions

Based on the reviews provided, here's a summary of how the course curriculum is structured for B.E./B.Tech:

    * Relevance: Opinions are divided regarding the relevance of the course curriculum. While some students believe that it prepares students for industries, others think that it does not make students industry-ready.
    * Curriculum structure: The curriculum seems to focus on providing theoretical knowledge, with little emphasis on practical skills. This might lead to a gap between academic learning and industrial requirements.
    * Industry exposure: However, some students mentioned receiving industry exposure during their 2nd and final years of study, which could help bridge this gap.
    * Teaching quality: Unfortunately, many students reported that the teaching quality is poor due to unqualified and inexperienced faculty members.

It appears that the course curriculum lacks consistency and effectiveness in preparing students for industry demands. More attention needs to be paid to updating the curriculum and ensuring that it aligns with industry standards. Additionally, improving teaching quality by hiring experienced and qualified faculty members would significantly enhance the overall learning experience.

Somewhat disappointed because of placements. Faculty members and infrastructure are good.
Placements: Only 5% of students were placed. The package offered was 1.5 LPA. The recruiting companies included Ronch Polymers, Devgiri Forgings, Sandwell Automation etc. Many students got internship but on their own but the college also helped some students to get internship.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure was good and there was no issue. The hostel was the best. Hostel was equipped with all the facilities including food. Good quality food was available in canteen. Campus provided Wi-Fi. Classrooms were huge and well ventilated.
Faculty: Faculty members were good. Teaching was great. All teachers took great efforts to teach students. Curriculum made students job ready. The college is affiliated to S. R. T. M. University, Nanded. Semester exams were not too difficult.
Other: Placements could be improved. Campus didn't provide placements with higher packages.

The college is quite good, and I suggest students take admission here.
Placements: More than 25% of students get placed here. The highest salary package offered to students ranges from 3-3.5 LPA. The lowest salary package offered ranges from 1.5-2 LPA. Companies like Mahindra & Mahindra, Cognizant, TCS, etc., visit the college for placements. Only 20-30% of students got an internship from companies like Mahindra & Mahindra, TCS, etc. Top roles like design engineer, testing engineer, maintenance engineer, production engineer, etc., are offered here.
Infrastructure: The college provides free Wi-Fi on campus. It provides a library and classrooms have a good infrastructure. Facilities provided by the college are quite good like canteen, mess, hostel, sports, and games. The college provides separate hostels of good quality for both boys and girls.
Faculty: Teachers in our college are highly qualified, helpful, and supportive. Their teaching quality is also good. The course curriculum makes students industry-ready, and it is also relevant to get jobs in industries. Semester exams are quite hard, and the syllabus is also hard. The pass percentage is 40%.

    The college is quite good.
Placements: About 10% of students were placed. The highest package offered was about 3 Lacs. Mostly there were local companies. About 30% of students from my batch got internships in local companies. Top roles like JE was offered. And others like technicians and mostly the placed students are placed for an apprenticeship or for training.
Infrastructure: Mostly all facilities are available just Wi-Fi is not available, infrastructure is good with a good natural environment it's clean and has a lot of space. The hostel food is not good. But the rooms are nice. Medical facilities are near to the college. For sports and games, all the facilities are available.
Faculty: Yes, they were helpful but some new teachers are not that good at teaching. The electrical branch is the best in this college but I can't say this for other branches. Yes, the course is relevant. No, it doesn't make students industry-ready. The college semester is quite easy the passing percentage is about 40.

I am dissatisfied because of faculty members.
Placements: Approximately 200 students are passed out this year in BE, but no one is placed anywhere. As the students are not placed, there is no issue of salary. None of the students got selected for an internship after the course in any company.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi facility is not available in our college. Classrooms are good, but instruments are not available to perform practicals; hence there are no labs. Quality of the hostel is very poor. There is no medical facility, and I didn't hear a single word regarding sports and games.
Faculty: Teachers here are not helpful, not qualified and not knowledgeable. Teaching quality is poor as the teachers are less qualified, and they are not eligible for teaching bachelor students. The course curriculum is not relevant and will not make students ready for industries.
Other: I have chosen this course for gaining deep knowledge.

Absolutely satisfied with the faculty, but I'm not satisfied with the placements.
Placements: Placements of this college are not that good, but students get lots of opportunities in this college. The highest package offered for the students of the mechanical engineering department is 3.5 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered is 1.5 LPA. Companies like Bajaj Auto Chakan, TCS, Tata Motors, and Ashok Leyland, etc., have visited the campus for placements.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of this college is very good. There are lots of trees on the campus. As the campus is surrounded by trees, the atmosphere at the campus neither very cool and nor so warm. There are lots of labs like heat engine lab and computer lab, and we also have a workshop. There are no issues regarding the infrastructure of the college.
Faculty: Some teachers are very helpful, and some teachers show their attitude. Teachers are highly qualified, and some teachers have also completed their PhDs. Some teachers have completed their M.Tech from IITs. Our teachers are well-knowledgeable. Teachers always share their knowledge with students. They provide industry exposure in my 2nd and final year of the course. When I was in my 2nd year of our course, we visited a company named Bafna Motors, Nanded.
Other: There are lots of extracurricular activities on this campus. All sports are promoted in a very good manner in this college. Many events and fests like Kratos are organised here. The event named Kratos is organised our annual day. The connectivity is good here. College buses are available for the students. The annual fee to avail the bus transportation facility is Rs. 10,000. Many scholarships such as the scholarships offered for the students who belong to minority categories are provided here.

    Good placements and prestigious campus...
Placements: 40% students were placed last year whereas many others have chosen their higher studies. The highest package package is 6 LPA and the lowest is 3 LPA. Data scientist is highest post that college offered. The campus is good and faculty is also very good.
Infrastructure: A giant and precious library is available. For boys and girls separate library are present. The mess as well as canteen is available. The food is of good quality. Campus holds sports competition every years to encourage students in field of sports.
Faculty: The faculty is amazing and teachers are helpful. The library contains all books required and also books for different state and India level competitive exams. The semester exams have moderate difficulty level. The teaching quality is good and doubt sessions are provided.
Other: The course is prestigious and lead to technological and scientific development. It boosts the creative thinking. The campus holds different curriculum activities for students especially in sports.
