It is a good college with lots of courses to choose from.

Placements: We only have around 30 students in our course with an above-average percentage scale. College does provide placements but I don't have much knowledge on this as the pandemic started in my very first year of college. But still, I am sure there are many courses from our college with placement.

I think it is the best college for general study.

Placements: 70% of students got placed in my course. Many recruiting companies come for our course. About 60% of students in our college got internships from our course in reputed companies.

It is a state government college affiliated to the University of Calcutta.

Placements: Students here got placed in highly-reputed companies with highly reputed destinations. Most of them work as different types of statisticians, data analysts, data scientists, and statistical analysts. Even many of the students are working in the Indian Statistical Service.

Our college offers helpful facilities, but there is not placement cell in the college.

Placements: Our college doesn't provide placements. Most of the students get jobs or internships from outside. Mostly students get into banks and other sectors of the industry as the college has a good reputation in Kolkata.

It is a great college for B.Sc economics Honour.

Placements: No roles were offered, and there were no formal placements in our time. Few students did internships, but the college didn't do anything in it. They individually searched for internship opportunities, but a signature from the HOD is required to join which the students obtained with ease.

I am satisfied with college.

Placements: There are no such placements provided by the college. It is because of Calcutta University that no such campaigns are encouraged in the university. Every year many students search for a job on their own, and only a few among them succeed.

Review of Maulana Azad College.

Placements: I am still pursuing this course. I have heard recruiters are very strict, but they offer an excellent salary. Last year about 87% of the students got placements in top companies, and they are well settled. I am looking forward to positive results in the next year.

One of the best & affordable college in Kolkata.

Placements: Although there was Placement & NSS cell but None of the students were asked for appearing in Placement Interviews. None of the students were placed so there was no package for B.Com students. No Placement was provided in the final year. There was no average salary or any salary offered for B.Com Students. Even the Senior passed out student did not have any placement done.

Our college is under CU, and it is graded A by NAAC.

Placements: I am a student of B.Com (Hons) in MAC Kolkata. As for my knowledge, placements are not offered to commerce student in this college. Due to no placements, there is nothing about the salaries offered. But 2 students got an internship in nearby companies.

The college does not provide placements but has very good facilities and faculty members.

Placements: Though there is a placement cell in the college, yet no student from our batch got placed. The placement cell is not active when it comes to the postgraduate course in zoology. The cell does provide placement in some other courses but not in the zoology course. Internship opportunities were not provided in any company from our college. The placement cell aims in placing students who are pursuing technical courses and does not place students from the general courses.

Best Government College in Kolkata. Beautiful college with proper Classrooms etc.

Placements: Currently I am in 5th semester and there where almost 60 students in my class. No placement cell is in this college. This college is very affordable for poor students as it is fully government college. It provide the education in all stream like B.A. B.Sc. and B.Com.

Review of Maulana Azad College.

Placements: The college didn't conduct placements after completion of our course B.Sc (Hons) Microbiology. I don't have an idea about what the salary packages offered, and also don't know about the top recruiters of our college. Professors and scientists are the top roles offered here. Students get fellowships here by cracking CSIR UGC NET, which allows them to pursue PhD after completion of their masters.

It is a mediocre college with disappointing infrastructure and placements.

Placements: Placements in our college were horrible. The college has no coherent placement strategy or placement plans. Many students got jobs on their own or by using the third party such as LinkedIn, etc. Recently, the commerce department had a placements campaign with limited success.

Review of Maulana Azad College.

Placements: After B.Sc, the college had not provided any placement opportunities. The college doesn't even have the placement cell. But, you can get a job with your own efforts by applying for different walk-in interviews and pooled campusing. From walk-in and pooled campusing, few of the students from our batch got placed with a salary package of 2.5 LPA, but most of the students were looking for high profile job opportunities. Internships could also be done, but you have to put your own efforts to find on...

The review of Maulana Azad College.

Placements: Placement opportunities aren't available for the students of the physics (Hons.) department. However, with the help of its good reputation, anyone can avail a decent physics oriented job or students can also pursue M.Sc. from top IITs. If you are a bright student and want to study physics, Maulana Azad College is one of the finest colleges under Calcutta University.

The college has beautiful infrastructure and facilities, and they are good and helpful to students.

Placements: There are no placements for B.Sc. students, but for M.Sc., there are some placements. Our senior placements are low in number, and I think, the placements are not at all possible in this colleges. There is a placement cell on the campus. Around 50% of the students got internships through the college. The companies which visited the campus for placements offered an average salary to students.

It is the perfect government college if you need a bachelor degree in reasonable fee.

Placements: The placement cell is very bad. In fact, there were no placements in 2017-18. The number of jobs offered is also very few. Only a few people get chance to sit for the interview, and that is decided according to the 1st-year and 2nd-year results. There are no aptitude tests for these interviews. Some departments do not even have placement for their courses.
