It's a very good college in the central Kolkata.

Placements: The Maulana Azad college is one of the best colleges in Kolkata. After the graduation, he/she will get an opportunity from the other companies for the internship. During the internship, the highest stipend offered by the companies was Rs. 55,000, and the lowest stipend offered was Rs. 25,000. Around, 60% of the students got an opportunity for the internship. It is very useful for the student as they get the experience for their future by getting the internship at our college.

This college is the Kolkata's rising star.

Placements: This college doesn't provide any internships to its students. Also, the placement opportunities are very low in this college. There are barely any companies coming to provide the placements, and even if they do, the salary is very low. Mainly, BPOs or call centres provide the jobs/ There is no placement cell available in this college.

The best science college in Kolkata.

Placements: It's a government college. So, you will not get any placements from the college authority. You have to attend competitive exams for a great job. You will get your degree like B.Sc, M.Sc, BA, MA from this institution. If you see alumni, you will see that most of our senior brothers & sisters are in great positions now such as UPSC, WBCS, NET & much more.

If you are looking for a college and not have high hopes about placements.

Placements: No placements. Our college does not provide placements. It does not have good infrastructure. Most of the students opt for placements outside the college in companies like PWC and TCS. To sum up good for education. Not too good for placements. My advice. Don't join the college. Placements and education is much better outside Kolkata.

Good faculty members and infrastructure and a perfect place for a bright future.

Placements: Though after bachelor’s degree programme, the students of Maulana Azad College didn’t opt for placements as the efficient teaching faculty creates enough enthusiasm among students to go for higher studies. Most of the students get placed in statistical Masters Institutes like ISI, IIT-Kanpur, IIT-Mumbai, BHU, Delhi University, etc. Also, the teaching faculty and staff members helped the students in 100 % placement assistance.

You will miss the college when you will leave it

Placements: The percentage of the college students that get placed in our college is 90% - 95% and the students in the college get 100% assistance in the internship opportunity. The companies that come in for recruitment in the college are Shyam Steel and Super Smelters.

Could make some changes in placement and way of classrooms, really good facilities.

Placements: There were placement in 2024 for 2020 to 2024 students and 3 companies came. But the percent of students getting placement is not that much because more of the students pursue further education. But 20 to 25 percent students get placements and internship.

The Best college under Calcutta University

Placements: My course was honours in Physics and generally, there is no direct placement in this course. You can apply for internships at different institutions according to your ability and as we know, a programming course Python is also included in our syllabus, so you can learn it and apply for placements yourself.

It is one of the best universities.

Placements: There are no on-campus placements, but some companies give offers to the top students. But it is wiser to pursue masters, and then they can get better opportunities. The college has one of the best statistics departments at Calcutta University.

The maulana azad college.

Placements: We were about 50 students and about 25-30 students get placement successfully with the avg. Package of 4.5 LPA and rest chose to study further. Teachers are very helpful they help us when we were on our internships. Almost all of us got internship some through college and some through their own source. Many got paid internship and I was one of them. I was in internship for 1year and I was paid 12500 per month. That was really. Important to me and special to. My first earning.
