It is one of the top 3 medical institutes of the country.

Placements: MAMC needs no introduction in terms of placements or packages to the general public because it is one of the top 3 colleges in the country. All the students get internships in its affiliated hospitals like Lok Nayak hospital, Gb pant, Guru Nanak eye center, and Associated Trauma Center. As one will become a doctor, packages are variable depending on the future practice in setup or some private or government hospital.

Overall, it is one of the best medical colleges.

Placements: Students have to give a PG exam to get admission into the PG courses. There is no involvement of companies or hospitals, and the admission is solely based on the rank in the PG exam (now known as the NEXT exam). This is the new format of examination where part 1 is before the internship, and part 2 is after the internship.

It is one of the best medical colleges.

Placements: Being a medico, you don't have to worry about placements as we already know that there is a shortage of doctors in our country. The basic salary you get after completing MBBS from any Delhi University is around 90,000-1 Lac per month. We do our internship in Lok Nayak hospital, GB Pant Hospital and Guru Nanak Eye Centre. All of them are college-associated hospitals.

Maulana Azad Medical College is worth the efforts made by you to join here.

Placements: Since it is a medical college, less students bother about placements and more about PG seats. I saw in the last 4 years of my college life that the majority of students who studied here got PG seats in eminent institutes like AIIMS, JIPMER, MAMC, PGIMR, etc. If they don't get it, they apply for Jrship in hospitals and are preferred over other students because of the experience gained during internships. After passing out of college, students can even try for Jrship, and they get a minimum stipen...

It is a dream college for students with enthusiasm and passion for the subject they opt for.

Placements: In MBBS courses, there are not as many such placements as in tech courses. Students here go for PG courses or USMLE, and the percentage of students who excel in such exams is quite high in MAMC. Internships are offered at the end of the course, which is compulsory for every student to do to get the course completed.

It is quite satisfactory. There are highly qualified professors, and the hospital has good patients.

Placements: I am from the batch of 2019, and my year of passing out is 2024. Most of the students opt for PG after MBBS. If a doctor wants to practice without pursuing PG, then MAMC is good to start. Internships are compulsory for 1 year. There is a great learning experience. Options available for PG are NEXT, NEET-PG, USMLE and PLAB.

The college fee is very low. Teachers are good and very helpful. Infrastructure is also quite good.

Placements: Internships are compulsory as in other colleges. The majority of students get jobs but not all in LNJP. Other places like private hospitals also offer placements. After placement, the salary offered is approximately between 1 lac to Rs. 50,000 per month. After MBBS, we get a job as JR in the hospital.

Review of Maulana Azad Medical College.

Placements: Every student is required to get an internship of one year compulsory. As this is a Delhi college, so there are many post-graduate seats available in various clinical courses. The salary offered to a post-graduate student ranges from Rs. 80,000-100000 per month. Around 50% of students get selected for the post-graduation course, and they can complete their junior residency and join as senior residents in the Lok Nayak Hospital.
