Infrastructure, study facilities, faculty are excellent, but the area of the college is not enough.

Placements: The placements record of the previous year was a little bit high than this year. 50% of the students in the mechanical department from our senior batch were placed. The percentage of placement is 20% for the mechanical department. There is only a very rare chance to get a job in a reputed core company from our college. In this year, the highest salary package offered was 10 LPU by Byju's in pool campus drive, and the lowest salary package offered was 1.2 LPA. Many reputed companies like TCS, Tat...

An average college with above average faculty and average placements.

Placements: Talking about the placement, our college placement cell manages to call 2-3 big companies for 2018 passing out batches like Capgemini, TCS and DirectI. DirectI offered a package of 25 lpa, but no student was able to crack it. The average placement for IT, CSE, ECE was 3 LPA. The highest package for automobile branch was 6 LPA offered by Mahindra & Mahindra.

Satisfied because of teaching quality.

Placements: The placements are good but not that great. Around 65% students got placed last year. Last year, the highest average salary offered was Rs. 60,000 and the lowest average salary was Rs. 15,000. Last year, the companies like Bosch, TCS, Wipro, Tech Mahindra, etc. visited the campus.

There are decent placements in the year 2016.

Placements: TCS, Tech Mahindra, Mahindra & Mahindra are some of the top companies which visited the college. I got placed in TCSL. 143 students appeared for aptitude, and 74 got selected in TCS. Around 35 got selected in Tech Mahindra. The average package was 3.36 LPA. The highest package was bagged by some of the finest automobile engineering students.

Placements were horrible, and unsupportive faculty of the college.

Placements: It was severely poor for the automobile stream. Candidates were ultimately placed in sales role forgoing their technical expertise. Mahindra was the only company that visited our campus offering tech roles at a CTC of 5 LPA. Rest were Hyundai sales, Maruti Suzuki sales, Tata Aig, Toyota sales, etc.

Review on MCKV Institute of Engineering.

Placements: The placements are neither good nor bad. But certainly, as a student of core engineering branch, I can say core companies do not come in a countable number so for electrical and mechanical branches. Especially the placements are not happening as we have expected. Till 7th semester only 1 electrical student got placed in a software company. On an average placement, records are very low for all branches of engineering in our college.

Overall satisfied with the college.

Placements: The placements were satisfactory till the last batch (2017). Around 35% of the students were placed exclusively from campus. The highest to lowest salary package ranged from 5.5 LPA to 1.6 LPA. Major IT companies (except TCS, CTS) visited the campus at on and pooled campusing. The job profile varied according to the company profile.

Average college but great faculty.

Placements: Placements were pretty good till 2015. The highest package was 10 lacs P.A. The average packages offered are between 3-4 lacs P.A. TCS, Wipro, Tech Mahindra and other good companies used to visit. Last year, hardly any of these came. This year, only TCS has come till now, that too for pool placements and not mass.

Satisfied. Not very bad but not very good. But overall, it is nice. A few changes could do wonders

Placements: Placements of the senior batch were average, not very good but at the same time not very bad as well. A few talented seniors who had an edge over the others could easily secure more than 3 job offers in the CSE department. 80% of the students are placed. The companies were NRI Fintech, Bosch, Infosys and IBM. Deserving students made their way to success both on-campus and off-campus. The kinds of jobs offered were software development, app development, mean stack development, backend, frontend a...

A better place because of helpful faculty members.

Placements: The placements of 2017 pass out batch were quite better than others. Approximately 50 out of 65 students got placed and 5-6 students a got job in 4-5 companies (including jobs offered in pool and off-campusing). If we consider the students who got placed, the average salary is about Rs. 3.5 lpa, the highest is about Rs. 6 lpa and the lowest is Rs. 3 lpa. Capgemini, TCS, Tech Mahindra and Bosch, etc. are the companies visiting our campus. Very few students got internships (less than 10) and of...

Satisfied because of faculty, good placements, infrastructure and facilities but not great.

Placements: For the last passing out batch, the placements were good but not great. I guess, around seventy percent students got placed this year. The highest average salary offered was around forty thousand and the lowest and average salary offered was fifteen thousand. Companies that visited the campus are Tata Consultancy Services, Bosch, Tech Mahindra and some other local companies.

My college- summed up. The life and zeal over there.

Placements: The placement facilities in our college are good. Students get exposure and chances to sit in the aptitude test for many established companies. The CRTT cell in the college manages the companies which will be brought to the college. Companies like TCS, Tech Mahindra, Bosch, etc come for placements in our college.

Place to learn and apply the theories.

Placements: The placement of our batch and the senior batch was good, rather this year, the placement percentage was even better than the previous year. Till now, almost 40% of our department alone got placed. The highest salary was 6 LPA, the lowest is around 12000 per month and the average figure was around 3 LPA. Good infrastructure, good faculties, average placement, Wi-Fi throughout the campus.

Placements: Placement of the college is average (neither good nor bad). Many tier-3 companies like TCS, Wipro, IBM etc. do visit college in the month of August to December. After that, many small companies come until the end of the session. Average salary given by the companies is in the range of 2.5 - 4.5 lpa. For internship, the students need to search for the same themselves. The college can only provide a recommendation letter for the internship if required.

Nice placement for IT and CS in 2016, satisfactory for core streams.

Placements: As I am studying in a core stream, the placement is not very good but it is satisfactory. Companies like Mahindra and Mahindra, Cummins, Tata AIG, Akash Institute, Bengal Tools, Tech Mahindra etc came. The highest packages go up to 6 lakhs/annum while the lowest goes to 10,000 per month. Also, many IT companies, a few finance companies and a few dealer points came. So all the good students get placed with good posts and good salaries as well. Some students with backlogs also get placed with a sm...

Overall, my review points: I can give 4.1 out of 5, after the last year.

Placements: I am not yet placed. Tech Mahindra, Mahindra and Mahindra and 3 to 4 such companies have visited our campus to offer jobs to the ME department. But I am not lucky enough to get selected. Sales engineer, graduate engineer like posts are offered in the placements. The highest salary of campusing offered by the company is about 6 LPA. The lowest is very low to accept, which is 1,20,000 per annum CTC.

A great learning experience with highly cooperative faculty.

Placements: The placement was quite good especially for the electronic stream other than the computer science and information technology streams. Many well-known companies like Havell's, Mitsubishi, Bosch and Grandmaster came with interest in the core streams. Almost 50% students were placed before the course completion here.

Days you would cherish forever at MCKVIE

Placements: It is a not-so-good and not-so-bad kind of situation. An average of 50% of the students get placed and most of them are recruited in the IT sector. Some companies also recruit for their sales and service profiles. The students arrange their own internships, however, one summer training is provided by the college for one month. Some notable companies which visit our campus are TCS, Tech Mahindra, Mahindra and Mahindra, Bosch etc.

Good placement for IT & CSE.

Placements: CSE, IT, ECE are the branches for which I believe placement is for sure in any of the colleges, and when it comes to MCKVIE, there's no doubt in the above statement. Moreover, the location of the college is a great deal as it gives an advantage in every aspect.
