Quality of the fashion is not education.

Placements: We didn't have any placements, and none of us was placed in the session 2014-2017. We surely have a placement cell but it is usually locked, and none of the teachers of BCA department has any information related to placements or other happenings in college. We just had one company coming to the college in our session that was Concentrix. Although, we did that placement fest in the year 2016.

Absolutely satisfied with faculty but no opportunities for career growth

Placements: No placements at all, specifically for B.A. students. Annually, there is a fest that is held and companies visit the college like:- ICICI Bank, home tuitions-related companies and much more. But only a few students get the offer as the college doesn't have training and placement programme. therefore, the average package of students who got placed is 3 lacs.

Review of MCM DAV College for Women.

Placements: The placements are not good. Apart from EY, no company came. However, there's a job fest organised by the college every year in the month of February where a few good companies and a lot of local companies come. It's open to the students of all other colleges as well.

Totally dissatified because once you entered the campus, you cant exist before 12:00 pm.

Placements: Around 20 students placed in the year 2015. Many companies visited the campus and offered good packages. The packages were up to the mark. The highest package offered was 5 lakhs per annum, and the lowest package was 2 lakhs per annum, and this was in 2015. I have heard that in 2016, there were no placements in the college, which was the most downhearted. So I am not expecting that the companies would come this year.

Excellent studies but unsatisfactory placements.

Placements: The placements for commerce graduates were not very good. The maximum package offered from my batch was 3 LPA. Moreover, the companies coming to hire specifically commerce graduates was too low. The job profiles offered were also not exciting as the students were made to go for mostly marketing assignments.

Poor placements in 2015 but a good faculty team.

Placements: The placements are not provided as such, but some small companies come during the job fest every year to recruit. So overall if we see according to the placement perspective, it is not a good option to go for.as it is not providing good placement. This was the weak part of the college instead of being affiliated to Panjab university.

The college is great and the infrastructure is also good. The classes are interactive. An equal weightage is given to external and internal exams. The students are not being placed, so the placements are lacking. The staff is excellent. Events are also properly organized and there are activities in student clubs also.

Campus chronicles: A glowing review.

Placements: Not much students in our course get placements. Only 10% gets placed. Internships are offered to the students but it is not paid. It is only for experience purpose and certificates. In otger courses tgey are given more placements as compared to our course.

The college on average is good.

Placements: The college does not give any good placements; the students do not get placed anywhere after they complete their graduation. Other than that, I am an M.A. student in my 2nd year and do not really know about the placements and all other information about it.

College furniture needs to be changed. There should be more placements.

Placements: There are not too many placements. And the one they are offering is not worth the fee of the course; there should be more placements in the respective field and they should spread awareness among different courses, which we can do along with the graduation to face the competition with some different skills .

Somewhat satisfied but has space for improvement.

Placements: For the course of psychology, placement and internship opportunities are nearly nonexistent. Therefore, there is a lot of room for improvement. However, for other streams, yearly placements take place. One has to complete Masters before proper placements can be availed in psychology. But at least internships could be made available.

I am absolutely dissatisfied with our college.

Placements: I don't know what percentage of students got placed from our course, and I wasn't really satisfied with our college placements. So, I never attended them, and even salary packages offered were also not good. So, I didn't focus much on other things.

The college has good infrastructure and faculty. Wifi facility is still not there.

Placements: Placements are good. Companies like Infosys, Tommy Hilfiger, multinational companies and many private banks visit the college. The average salary package was around 4-5 LPA, and the highest salary package was around 9-10 LPA depending upon the calibre of the student. Approximately 60-70% of students got placed on internships.
