Good college for gaining experience and exposure

Placements: Around 40-50% gets nice placements of good companies with good package. But on an average package of 2-3 lac is coming. Most of the times job of sales executive is offered. Decathlon is one of the company whose placements come every year and they offer good facilities.

An Institution strict for academics byt not much focused on other aspects of a college life.

Placements: Although college does have a placement cell, the recruiting companies are only average and placwnt drives are jot very promising. This has not been a very enticing aspect of this college. The classes are usually with a good number of students BUT section and Hons allocation process is not very efficient.

Remarkably good. A great option for girls in tricity

Placements: Our college has a placement cell that takes a huge pain to get the deserving one placed in a well reputed institution. And they have been actively working for this from past a few years. Placements for BBA graduates is quite common but MCM has too placed several graduates of arts in various institutions and companies.

I'm very much satisfies with the college because of faculty, little dissatisfied of placement.

Placements: I'm not satisfied with the placement drive conducted in the college. We were told that so many big and mid sized firms will come in final year like delloite, kpmg etc. But it was nithing like that. There were only some companies for marketing purpose only.

The things you should know about MCM DAV College for Women, Chandigarh.

Placements: So, the college provides various placement opportunities to the students, and the maximum number of students get recruited via college placement. The only thing that pisses me off is that the packages are not that good; the maximum package that a student can get via college placement is 5-6 LPA.

Good College. Good education.

Placements: There are many opportunities which come up from time to time. You need to be vigilant for grabbing good ones. Notices are also updated on the college website regularly so you can keep a check there as well. But otherwise it's good when compared to other colleges.

It was great to study here. I recommend this institute for BCA.

Placements: Around 10% of the students from our course got placed. Salary packages offered were not much high, and the top IT company which visit here for placements was Infosys. The placement cell was established just around 2-3 years ago, so our college is improving this day by day. I hope they will provide good opportunities soon.

I am satisfied with all the efforts put in by faculty members to make it worth attending.

Placements: Almost 20-30% of the students got placed during this session. The highest salary offered is around Rs. 30,000-35,000 per month and the lowest salary offered is around Rs. 15,000 per month. Some of the top recruiting companies are Ernst and Young, DE Shaw, Amazon, Indigo Airlines, etc. Roles such as assurance associate and financial manager are offered.

It is a great college and has a scope to be the best.

Placements: There was a placement cell in our college, which was set up in 2016-2017. But it was very new to attract companies which offer roles relevant to the course. Companies which visit our campus to offer BPO jobs. There is a need for the administration to play an active role for placements along with the students.

Wonderful college for Girls.

Placements: Placement cell is very weak in college. Quality of placement is very poor. Very few students were placed last year. The highest salary package offered to a BCA student that was around 11 Lacs per annum. Placement is not much difficult process, you just need self confidence. MCM is not so good in terms of placements and that's a bitter truth. There is no placements for B.A. students. College is Trying to bring companies that offers placement for arts and Science students too but currently placeme...

One of the best college under PU for girls.

Placements: Being in first year I didn't know much about placements there. Many students choose to opt for higher studies after B.A. and some students do internships and some students prepare for government entrance exams etc. It is one of the best college under PU.

Our college has good faculty members, and they are always ready to help us.

Placements: Almost 50% of students get jobs as three are not many jobs to offer in B.Com. Students get selected if they score the desired marks and have good communication skills. Our teachers encourage us to attend interviews.

Our college provides a good learning experience, along with commendable cooperation by teachers.

Placements: The college excelled in academic and co-curricular training. There was a pleasant teacher-student relation, but no placements were provided. Placement drives were organised, but they only recruit 2-4% of total students, and this would demoralise students.
