A:
{Source: B.E. / B.Tech students & alumni}

Is B.E./B.Tech at Meerut Institute of Technology (MIT) Worth the Investment?

Based on reviews from current students and alumni, here's a summary of the pros and cons:

Infrastructure and Facilities:
* Mixed feedback on the infrastructure - some students find it good, while others mention it's outdated and needs improvement.
* Limited recreational spaces and sports facilities.
* Hostel accommodations are considered poor, with complaints about food quality, hygiene, and cramped living conditions.

Faculty and Teaching:
* Positive feedback on the faculty's dedication and commitment to teaching.
* First-year faculty members are generally considered good, but performance declines after that.

Examinations and Academics:
* Challenging and rigorous exams, with frequent assessments.
* Passing marks are relatively high, and copy-checking is inconsistent.

Placement and Career Opportunities:
* Strong placement record, with 80-90% of students placed annually.
* Average package ranges from INR6-7 Lakhs per annum, with the highest package reaching up to INR18 Lakhs.
* Renowned companies like Tech Mahindra, TCS, and Infosys regularly recruit from MIT.

Overall, while there are some concerns about the infrastructure and hostel facilities, the strong placement record and committed faculty make it a worthwhile investment for those looking for a career-oriented program. However, prospective students should weigh these factors against the drawbacks and consider whether MIT meets their individual expectations.

There is no ragging in our college. The environment of our college is also good. The grounds of our college are big with greenery.
Faculty: Teachers are well-qualified and knowledgeable. The course curriculum is not good as much. Semester exams are not difficult and the pass percentage is 33%. The course curriculum makes the student industry-ready.

The infrastructure and environment of our college are good.
Placements: 60% of students were placed in our course. The highest package of our college of this course is 8 lac per annum. The top recruiting companies for our course are TCS, WIPRO, AWS, etc. There are approximately 45% of students who got internships from our course in TCS, WIPRO, and AWS companies.
Infrastructure: The facilities and infrastructure of a college play a crucial role in providing students with an environment conducive to learning, development, and overall growth. Academic Facilities Classrooms: Spacious, well-lit, and equipped with modern teaching aids like projectors, smart boards, and audio systems. Libraries: Extensive collections of books, journals, e-books, and research materials with reading space and digital access. Laboratories: Specialized labs for disciplines like Science, Engineering, and Computing, equipped with the latest tools and technology. Workshops: Hands-on facilities for Engineering, Design, and Vocational Training programs. Auditoriums and Seminar Halls: Space for large gatherings, seminars, cultural events, and guest lectures.
Faculty: The teachers of our college are very helpful and supportive and well-qualified. The semester exams of our course are not very difficult. The pass percentage of exams is 33%. The infrastructure and environment of our college are good, and the facilities they have provided us are also too good.
Other: I chose this batch because I have an interest in computers. Our college's university is not good. The subjects they provide are not much that important in the future, that's why it must be better.

Review of Meerut Institute of Technology.
Placements: 80 percent of students are placed with almost 6-7 lacs per year. Most students prefer to choose core jobs but students are placed in both core and non-core jobs. And also, students move on to higher education. Many companies visit here students like TCS , Mahindra, etc.
Infrastructure: I should not recommend this college hostel because it's environment is very bad and the food quality is also poor. Mess food items are present in limited quantities. But rooms and hostels are clean in the one-day gap. Present in the hostel are many quality machines, like washing machines, geysers, and watercoolers.
Faculty: The faculty of Meerut Institute of Technology are very educated and kindly. They support the student and increase his. Exam curricula are very tough, and university examinations are also very tough. The college conducts exams and regular classes. After a second, they are rude.

I am satisfied with the professors, educative mindset of students, crowds, and events.
Placements: About 60% of students are placed on campus throughout their skills. The highest package should be 5-6 lacs, with the average and minimum up to 2-3 lacs per annum. TCS, Wipro, Microsoft, etc. are the top recruiters. Almost more than 90 percent of students do internships, and the companies names that offer internships are TCS, Wipro, etc. Software developed, data learner, etc. are the top roles offered.
Infrastructure: Not too good facilities and infrastructure in this college also Wi-Fi problem issue in this college Wi-Fi is only connected in the libraries, and the speed is too low in the classrooms; labs are average. The hostel charge is expensive as compared to the facilities provided at the hostel; also, the food is average.
Faculty: The faculty members are well-knowledgeable, and most of the teachers are well qualified for master's degrees like M.Tech, M.Sc., etc. The course curriculum is relevant for students, but some type of assignments or projects that do not mean to any engineering environment. Not that difficult, the semester exam, but the checking criteria of AKTU is so bad; passing criteria in each subject is up to score 21 out of 70.
Other: In upcoming years, there is a massive production of AI and technical backgrounds; that's why I choose this course. To remove theoretical subjects and focus only on programming languages. In that college, fests, events and extracurricular activities should all be conducted.

With great hope, I got into this college. It's a very good college .
Placements: This amazing course is reducing unemployment in India. Many students were placed last year from my college. TCS, Wipro, HCL, Accenture, and many more companies usually visit every year for placements. And our college department has tied up with many startups to get internships for students.
Infrastructure: Our college hostel is also very good from the facilities point of view. There are all the necessary things for living properly. And proper cleanliness with very beautiful hostel staff and there are very cooperative wardens who always force us to get opportunities in sports also.
Faculty: Yes, every year various activities are conducted with full curiosity and with faculty instructions. And our exams are also conducted every week to get better preparation of students. Sessional helps us to practice more and more. So it's a great combination of study and smart work.
Other: I love innovative things, so I have chosen it.

Good placement in 2020, dissatisfied with infrastructure and facilities.
Placements: I am currently a first-year student pursuing B.Tech in CSE at MIT Meerut. The average placement package at our institute is around 3-4 LPA, but a few exceptional students manage to secure offers of 8 to 10 LPA. We have several renowned companies such as TCS, WIPRO, Hexaware, Collabera, Daffodils, and many others that visit our campus for recruitment.
Infrastructure: Classes will be assigned based on sections, and free Wi-Fi access will be provided on every floor. In the first year, you will be allocated a three-seater room. However, the quality of food in the dining hall is below average. As for sports, there is a single basketball and volleyball court, and there is one canteen on campus. Although the campus area is not extensive, medical facilities are available in the evening.
Faculty: It is crucial to prioritize your studies in the first semester, as teachers are highly attentive and will promptly notify your parents if you are absent from college. Therefore, it is essential to remain focused on your studies during your first year. If you are diligent and acquire the necessary skills sought by companies, pursuing a B.Tech. course can be highly advantageous for you.
Other: In 2023, a renowned actress will grace our college fest, providing an opportunity to learn about various aspects of college life. Our college organizes the annual MRIDANG festival, which is celebrated with great enthusiasm every year.
