The college is value for money paid.

Placements: Many multinational companies visit the college for campus drive like S.R Steel, L&T, Tata Consultancy Services, Voltas, Windsor, Wipro, etc. All the students have to do either internships or research on the project which was done by PhD students. They are offering a salary package of 5-6 LPA.

This college is the best for studies.

Placements: Many students got placed through the job festival conducted here. A lot of companies visit the campus and participate in the job festival. They hire students through interviews. Overall, the college provides placement facilities here.

A college with good infrastructure and facilities, but dissatisfied because of placements.

Placements: Our institute has consistently maintained an excellent recruitment record and stands testimony to the high professional standards aimed. The engineering students have been recruited by some of leading global multinational corporations and Indian companies. Companies like Tata, L&T, Mahindra, Ford, etc., visited the college for placements.

The college is not recommendable for engineering.

Placements: There were no placements for automobile and mechanical students. Very few companies visit the college for civil and computer engineering students. The placement scenario in the college is very bad. Not even a single company related to automobile engineering visits the college.

Good placement in 2017, awesome environment, supportive faculty members.

Placements: Our college has tie-ups with some MNC, as well as some well-reputed company, and it's very helpful for all the students of our college as it creates opportunities. In 2017, from our batch, more than 20 students got a golden opportunity of MNC in Oman. The academic excellence reflect in its students record in placement in corporate and engineering field. MEC has consistently maintained an excellent recruitment record and stand testimony in the college.

Absolutely dissatisfied because of placement programme.

Placements: Our placement programme was not very good, it's average. There were only 10% of students got placement. Companies visited are Hyundai, marutisizuki, Ford etc. They offered very crucial and responsive role in their companies. There were no placement cell in college.

A nice college for beginners.

Placements: The placement cell in Merchant Engineering College is very active in the sense of bringing various companies into college for placement drives. This year, the average package was of Rs. 3.4 lakhs per annum. It's a good beginning for freshers. Along with placements, many internships were provided to us.

The infrastructure is not awesome but if you want placement from college, don't get admission here.

Placements: Honestly, there is a very less chance of placement because there is no special cell for placement. Sometimes, a job fair is organised at the campus but in the job fair, the package is not good. Most of the students get internship because there are a lot of companies around Mehsana.

From education perspective, one should choose our college. Placement hopes not going to materialise.

Placements: Absolutely no placement. We had no companies for placement during the end of our course. We have paid some money apart from our course money to get placed. But hopes were not worthy of anything. Besides, other departments from our college faced the same problem. We did get marketing jobs offer but no one was interested.

Honestly, I don't suggest this college from my experience.

Placements: The placement is average, not that good. 4-7 students were selected out of 280, and the package is dependent upon the company placed. The maximum number of students got the internship from the college. The placement is required to be good in the future.so there were many students who got good companies and they all were happy.

Overall it is the worst college I have ever seen. There is no placement from this college, and the lab and workshop equipment are outdated while some equipment are not available. Please don’t apply for this college. The faculty are not supportive and qualified enough to teach and explain the concept of engineering.

My experience of college .

Placements: Around 90% of the students get placed and TCS is the mass recruiter. Mass recruiters as well as dream companies, both visit our college for recruitments. The average salaries offered are around 3 to 5 LPA and the highest package offered was around 12 LPA.

Merchant Engineering College is the best.

Placements: Placement is held during the Job Fair. The job fair is held in our college and many companies come there and fill up the forms and call for Interview and after the interview, they will decide for placement.

Cheap, nice education, good infrastructure and facilities.

Placements: The placements we not that good. A company from oman recruited 2 students and the highest package was 9 lacs. Other opportunities such as job fairs were organised. Many students participated but only a few could make it. Placement cell is good they keep on providing opportunities to the students encourage them to participate. The contacts of the college with forms is not up to mark.
