MET Institute of Information Technology popularly known as MET IIT is one of the premier IT institutions in Mumbai. It is a constituent institute of Mumbai Educational Trust (MET). MET IIT has a partnership with Centre for Development of Advanced Computing (C-DAC) which is a leading R&D organisation of the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY). The institute offers three programmes i.e. Postgraduate Diploma in Advanced Computing (PG-DAC), Diploma in Advanced Computer Arts (DACA), and Preparatory course for DAC / CCAT (Pre DAC).
Mumbai Educational Trust (MET) was awarded as the ‘Best Education Brand 2019' by The Economic Times for its. It is also recognised as the Best Education Brand 2019 by The Economic Times. MET is a PhD Research Centre of the University of Mumbai and Savitribai Phule Pune University in Pharmacy, Management, and Engineering.

MET IIT Mumbai Admission Process
MET IIT admission process is conducted in both online and offline mode. Candidates applying to DACA programme can download the application form from the official website of the institute and submit the same with the demand draft before the last date. For Pre DAC and PGDAC candidates can apply online on the official website of the institute. The institute conducts the Common Entrance Test (CET) for diploma programmes.

MET IIT Mumbai Courses
The institute offers full-time Postgraduate Diploma in Advanced Computing (PG-DAC), Diploma in Advanced Computer Arts (DACA), and part-time Pre DAC programmes. PreDAC offered by the institute is a preparatory course for CDAC’s CCAT (Computerised Common Admission Test) for PG-DAC.
PGDAC and DACA is full-time programmes while PRE DAC is 160-hour part-time programme.
