Totally dissatisfied by this college.

Placements: There is only 1 to 5 percent placement available here. Otherwise, nothing is done here for student's future by the college. Medical college students have lots of benefits while engineering department there is not properly managed by the staff people. When I was in my last year, hardly 5 percent students got placed from the whole branch.

Honest review of MGM college of engineering.

Placements: There are some reputed companies like Mankind, L&T etc. were came from last two years for placements, but very few students get a job. The companies came for placements mainly focus on EXTC and mechanical branch. For better performance in placements, college takes seminar regularly.

Empowering the students technically.

Placements: The placements are more often but irrespective of core type of job as a preference. There are training classes for students about aptitude, GD and mock interviews. Only the thing is teachers giving much importance to unnecessary things. Overall, a better college in Mumbai.

A good college where an average student can survive from the attendance burden by maintaining 75%.

Placements: I can't see any scope for the placements, and there are no companies coming to the college for placements. Most of the students are passing out without any job opportunities. Only one aptitude test is conducted to date, and I can not see any further companies coming to the college.

Absolutely dissatisfied because of faculty, management, staff and infrastructure.

Placements: There are zero percent placements here. It is the worst college. There is a very low chance here to get placed from this college. Don't choose MGMCET for any course. Absolutely dissatisfied with the staff, management, infrastructure and placement of this college. Absolutely dissatisfied by the teaching staff, placement service, teachers, management and infrastructure.

One of the best colleges in Maharashtra.

Placements: There are no placements in the college, so we have to go to off-campus drives. The college does not conduct the recruitment drive for the students. The atmosphere in the college is very good. The teaching staff is supportive of the students. There are no extra courses available at the location in the college. The discipline and the library facility in the college are also very good. The transportation is not available in the college for the students.

Good placements and average infrastructure.

Placements: There were approximately 5 companies which were there for the placements in the year 2016. Companies like Capgemini, Pompy, Nucsoft, Euclux, Neosoft had the criteria of 60% aggregate and no year drop and backlogs. For Capgemini, 10 students were selected out of 90 and rest of the other students got placed in different companies. Capgemini offered the maximum package of 3.5L for s/w developer. Not satisfied with the college.

Placements: There are no placements. Even college is not doing anything for this. Companies visit but don't offer more package than 1 LPA to 1.2 LPA. It is the highest package they offer. Also, the college is not interested in placements. The college takes no special action.

Good infrastructure and best faculty for technical studies.

Placements: The placements are moderate and not up to the mark. Sometimes, they offer the role irrelevant to our studies. The package is ranging from 1.8 lacs to 3 lacs. They just take the test and never respond. No training is provided to the students before placements programme. The placements should be more focused here.

MGM's College of Engineering is one of the famous colleges in Marathawada Region.

Placements: The campus placements are there only for IT/CSE students, not for the electronics and telecommunications or mechanical because there is no industrial area near to Nanded. For these two branches, only Indian army is coming, and this is not only an entry. The candidates directly applied for this job.

The MGM college of engineering for all branches.

Placements: There are no placements. There is not any single company coming to the campus. The college has zero percent placement in last 4 years. There is not any training and placement in charge in the college. It has no contacts with companies. They even don't know that placements are very important to the students. They just have a building and nothing else. There are lot more politics in the college.

MGM College of Writing and Calligraphy must be the name of the college.

Placements: The placements in Mahatma Gandhi Mission College of Engineering and Technology are not that good; they are just normal. About 30% of the students got placed. The highest salary offered to date is about Rs. 7lakhs to Rs. 8 lakhs and the average offer is Rs. 4 lakhs. The companies like Bridgeland, Ravetech, Systenics Solution, Powerwave, Atidan and Multiple Solution provided the placements.

Our college is well disciplined with highly qualified teachers.

Placements: Placement is based on your fundamental skills, communication skill, knowledge etc. Placement is given to those students who are good at studies and achieved quite good marks. Although the package is not high, it is about 3 LPA, and the minimum package is 1 LPA. However, lots of companies visit our college, like Amazon, Infosys, Ericsson and HCL. Our college collaborated with IIT Bombay etc. and has well skilled and professional teachers.

The quality of education was disappointing a few years back, but it has improved over the year.

Placements: The placements on the campus were not convincing. But as compared to the previous years, the companies have started to take an interest in our college. The approach of the staff the trustee towards the students had significantly decreased. The placements have improved a bit, but there is still a lot of scope for the improvement.

Good curriculum and faculty but the management is not good.

Placements: The placements were not very good for our batch. Same was for our senior's batch. Hardly 25% of the total students were placed from our batch. The highest package offered was of 4 L per annum and the lowest package offered was 2.5 L per annum. Companies like Tata Elexis, Portea, Excellence, etc. visited the campus for our department. Basically, the roles offered to the students were based on sales and services. Nobody got an internship from the college, we had to look for internship ourselves. T...

Placements: 20% of the students are placed. The highest package is 3.6 LPA for computer engineering, and more companies were expected. There are off pool campus placements. Such as Jio, TCS and other. Quad, Sutherland etc. companies also visit the college for placements. There is an exam cell and placement cell. The TPO in the college is good.

MGM college, not a good college for engineering.

Placements: The placement is the weakest point of this college. Only two companies came for recruitment, and no one was selected. The college shows that they get placements from companies like Infosys but in reality, hardly any company comes. Students are ordered to get their own placements and reason given was being unable to be fit for the job. This is the scenario from past 6 years.

Career will be in danger if you choose this college.

Placements: There are no placements for the electrical branch. They will tell you that we are gonna create an alumni network and help you all for placements, but nothing like that happens. It is better not to opt for this college in the first place. Our seniors also never got placed, at least from our branch, no one is placed.

Dissatisfied because of the placements in 2016, good labs.

Placements: There aren't any placements for the electrical students nor the students from other branches. The department wasn't active regarding the placements. There are limited placements for biomedical, computer and IT students. The college does not offer the internships. We have to put our self-efforts for the placements. Same in the case for the industrial visits.

The college is nice if you work hard for your future

Placements: The placement is very less at only about 50%. There is no placement from outside for students. If there is a placement, then salary is also very less. My friend has completed the degree in 2017 and he has no job. The highest salary offered was 5 Lakh. I am not very sure about other salaries offered. There are many companies which visited like Reliance, Tata, Siemens and Wipro.
