A review about MITID from an ex student.

Faculty: The curriculum kept changing and updating each year. But the quality of faculty members reduced as good faculty members started leaving after first year. We had the same 3–4 faculty members teaching us different courses in the last year. While the masterjis were really good, the other faculty members used to disregard our mental and physical health. I was hardly comfortable approaching them, as they favoured very few students over the others and would help them move forward in the course.

Great experience tarnished only by egotistical faculty.

Faculty: The visiting faculty was great; there were no complaints. They pushed us, gave excellent feedback and prepared us well for the jury. The permanent faculty was disrespectful, almost never gave us anything critical to work on and simply functioned on a biased statement, putting their students down. I had the misfortune of their mentorship only in the final year and I can confidently say I did not learn a single thing from the feedback they gave me and relied on industry mentors I reached out to on...

Amazing Campus Life, Great Infrastructure and Teaching.

Faculty: Faculty is each qualified and fit for their own specialisations. HOD are accessible and very student friendly. Curriculum gets adjusted based on the latest students requirements and industry standards. The semester itself is a continuous evaluation process, assignments and developments are continuously checked and evaluated by given mentors. The jury is the final exam which comprised 20%of the total score.

No placements for animation students.

Faculty: Faculty is not cooperative, they only want assignments and submissions. The faculty will teach you only as much as it's there in the Curriculum and just take your assignment submissions. Curriculum doesn't make students industry ready. Exams/juries seem to be useless.

The infrastructure of our college is very good.

Faculty: Teachers are good, but there is a shortage of faculty members in UX. We have a lot of faculty members from the industry, and they provide very good insights. The curriculum is updated according to the trends, and students get ready to work in the industry by graduation.

Overall, it is a very good college for pursuing masters.

Faculty: Teachers here are very helpful, and we are provided with both practical and theoretical knowledge. Course curriculum and academics are very good, and students are made industry-ready. Even students can start their own business. Our college is a bit strict for attendance.

Overall, everything is good expect for the fees.

Faculty: The curriculum is well made and teachers are very helpful and have great idea about industry needs. The study is industry orientated. The syllabus mostly focuses on practical knowledge rather than just mugging up facts. The faculty members keep a regular check on students’ performance and are highly educated in their respective fields.

I am satisfied with the teaching, infrastructure, and placements.

Faculty: In the first year, there were about 108 students and then got divided by the respective courses we chose. Product design had about 33 students, and we had one professor per class. Faculty members are good. The course curriculum is good.

One the best design schools you can get into.

Faculty: The faculty members here are one of the best available in India. Learning is fun, and enough industry exposure is given by taking students to industrial visits and also there are some live projects which are offered to the students. The course curriculum is very helpful and on-point.
