    A:
    {Source: B.A. students & alumni}

Based on the feedback from students and alumni, here's what we've gathered:

    Pros:

    * Well-qualified and friendly teachers: Most students agree that the faculty members are highly qualified with PhD degrees and are approachable.
    * Good infrastructure: The college has modern classroom facilities, a well-stocked library, and a canteen that serves decent food.
    * NCC services: The college offers NCC training, which can be beneficial for students interested in joining the armed forces.

    * Friendly atmosphere: Alumni praise the supportive environment within the college community.

    Cons:

    * No placement opportunities: Unfortunately, the college doesn't provide placement assistance to its students, making it challenging for graduates to secure employment.
    * Limited facilities: Although the college has a library and canteen, it lacks a hostel facility, which may pose difficulties for out-of-town students.

Our college has a good environment for studying purposes.
Placements: Our college does not provide placement opportunities for students. Passed-out candidates got placements. The salary packages are not offered by our college. Companies won't visit our college to recruit students.
Infrastructure: Our college provides us with all facilities. Our college has a well-equipped library, and it contains thousands of books. Our classrooms are neat and spacious. The hostel facility is not available in our college. Our college has a canteen. The food served in the canteen is good and affordable. Medical facilities are available in our college. Our college has a ground. Our college participates in state-level sports and performs very well.
Faculty: The best thing about our college is that it has highly qualified and friendly teachers. They teach us very well. Their way of teaching is good and proficient. The course curriculum makes students industry-ready. Semester exams are conducted very strictly. Teachers don't show mercy on students if they fail.

It is the college that everyone should want in their life.
Placements: Very good placements are there. Many students have been placed from our college. About 60% students got internship from our college and 40% from my course.
Infrastructure: We have football and basketball teams that have won a lot of trophies over the years. The juniors are serving as well as the formers. The ground is too good and other facilities like canteen and mess are quite good. The food is very cheap but excellent in quality.
Faculty: The exams are quite tough which give us an experience to clear the harder ones. The semester exams are great. We study hard and get approximately 70% marks. The course is curriculum related and it makes students industry ready. The teachers are friendly.

It is the best college in Howrah.
Placements: In our course, around 150 students started this course together. I have done Honours in English literature so placement as such cannot be given. Students who qualify with at least 60% of marks can avail themselves of a master's degree in the same college or any other college.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is quite good. Classrooms are well-equipped with air-conditioned rooms. There is a book lab English department from which students can get books for a limited period with no charges. There is no hostel facility in the college. There is a canteen providing good quality food at a reasonable price. The gym facility is also available.
Faculty: Teachers here are all well-qualified with Ph.D. degrees. Their teaching style is also good and relatable. The semester exam difficulty level is moderate. The minimum passing marks percentage is 40%. Students who cannot perform well are taken care of by teachers, and they give a second chance to clear the semester exam by a retest.
Other: I opted for this course because of my interest in English literature, to gain more knowledge with a degree. I would say if the discussion on any topic can be done more, then it will benefit the students even more. Freshers party, Annual functions, sports, and Saraswati Puja are celebrated here. Students who are interested in NCC Cadre can get their names enlisted and are trained for that by NCC teachers. Students get a chance to be featured in the yearly magazine as well.

This is the best college for studies.
Placements: There was no placements opportunity in our college. The college did not offer any type of placements, and there was no one who got any internships or placements from this college. There was no the highest, the lowest and average package available in our college.
Infrastructure: There was a good infrastructure in our college. The classrooms were clean and well decorated. Wi-Fi was not available on our campus. A library was available in our college, and lots of books, journals were there in the library. The hostel was not available in our college, but the food served in the canteen was good.
Faculty: Teachers were very helpful, and they guide students all time. Our teachers were very qualified some of them having degrees masters, Ph.D. The course curriculum was relevant. It was not enough for the students to be industry-ready. The semester exam was very difficult but our teacher taught students very well. So the difficulty level was small for students.
Other: When I am in 10 standards I had a little bit of interest and after 12th this subject is my favorite one. So, I am choosing this subject for higher study. The course was appreciable, and no improvement was needed. The annual event was held every year. Many scholarships were provided in our office room, and those were SC, SVMCS, National, etc.

I am absolutely dissatisfied because of the faculty, but there are good placements in 2024.
Placements: As I'm still an undergraduate and it will take one more year to graduate, I can assure you that if you're a sincere student, you'll get placement in the banking sector or in any government school. Moreover, you need to be a studious learner.
Infrastructure: There's a good teaching environment, and teachers are cooperative and friendly. There are also AC rooms with projectors for presentations. If you're thinking of getting admission to a decent college with a good study environment, in my perspective, it's the best in Howrah.
Faculty: The teachers are good as expected, and they conduct our exams appropriately. Semester exams are also fair; the passing percentage is 20 percent, but if you study sincerely, you can easily reach up to 60 percent. From all perspectives, this is value for money in terms of education.
Other: I chose this college for the English honors course because I heard that there are many good teachers in the English department, and my expectations were met.
