Review of National Institute of Fashion Technology.

Placements: Since it is a new course that started in 2021, campus placements are not provided. First batch of students took part in a research dissertation project in their final year.

Good college, with decent future prospects.

Placements: We are the second batch here at NIFT Gandhinagar, in M.Des programme. This is a research based course. So, they teach you systems thinking, problem solving thinking and design thinking methods. 4 main specifications in M.Des are curation, social design, UI UX, and strategy management design.

Placements: We are the second batch of M.Des. So, right now none of us are placed. Top roles could be visual designer, ui ux design, art curator, social designer, ux researcher, social media expert, brand strategist, trends forecaster, social entrepreneur, systems thinker etc.

It is average compared to other government design colleges, but far superior than the private ones.

Placements: Usually, people get good placements with a decent salary of around Rs.30000 - Rs.50000 per month. You also get many internship opportunities, especially after 3rd year, which trains you pretty well for the industry, and helps you build a strong portfolio.

It is a hub of talented and accepting students.

Placements: Placements for FC in our college are good at least better than many private colleges. The highest salary package offered is around 12 LPA. The top recruiting companies vary vividly because students either sit for on-campus placements or apply off-campus, and it all depends on the connections students make over the years, so keep students' senses open and do not leave any opportunities that come in their way.

NIFT GANDHINAGAR- college of fashion, tech, culture and craft.

Placements: Average package in 2017 was 4-5 lac CTC. And the highest was 11 lac but not sure. Lots of startup and big brands like arvinds, lifestyle, tanishq, pcj and naukari. Com comes in the placement. But there is a lot of competition for the placements lot of preference is given to students of the placement centre.

It is a good campus, and activities are also good.

Placements: Half of the students got placed, but I don't have much idea about the salary package offered to them. Arvind, Reliance Group and many other major export houses are the top recruiters of our college. Merchandiser and planner are the major opportunities which are offered to the students. After passing out from here, you can always get major roles, and you can explore in the industry.

Review of NIFT Gandhinagar.

Placements: Placement depends on how you perform in the interview. You should be perfect and confident about the work you have done. Placements range from the lowest to the highest standards. As Gandhinagar comes in the top 5 NIFTs, it has a higher placement percentage.

Absolutely satisfied with the faculty members and course curriculum.

Placements: The placements in our college are good enough. It's not about how much you get, but it's all about how much you gain. The starting salary could be around Rs. 20,000 per month to Rs. 30,000 per month, but a good increment can be expected. NIFT placements are not based on the campus, but it is based on your talent. The highest package goes up to 12 lakhs per annum, and the average is around 3.5 lacs per annum.

Lucky are the people of this college as they can interact with various good departments.

Placements: Everyone gets placed from the college if a person does his work well. The campus placement opportunity is the best, which the college can provide. The placements could be of more worth if compared in numbers. NIFT Gandhinagar being one of the most prior institutions manages to get all students hired and help them regarding placements. Anyone can attend the interviews, and in this institution, one can go to all the centres and appear for any company they want to.

Faculty members of nift Gandhinagar is good.

Placements: Placement is not so good in nift Gandhinagar. Last year almost 4-5 companies came and placed the students and companies like Sabyasachi, artex, Arvind Ahmedabad, awdat came to hire the students. The average package went to 2-3 Lacs, overall Gandhinagar placement is not so good.

The college is perfect as a fashion temple.

Placements: Almost 100% placements with the excellent performance in all the fields. The college provides some excellent opportunities with the maximum annual packages going up to 14 lacs. The placements are going to be held mostly in Delhi and Bangalore which have some large manufacturing units to facilitate the placements.

An affordable fashion degree.

Placements: Being the first batch (2013-2017) of fashion communication department the placements offered was good. 80% of the students got placed in good and well-known companies through the campus or off-campus. Rest of the students are pursuing masters in or outside India. Fashion communication department offers a variety of courses that are not nearly possible for the other departments and gives an individual an opportunity to choose what is best for him/her.

Strict faculty, average infrastructure, and great exposure.

Placements: The placements offered have not been good for a couple of years because the market has been down for a while. Otherwise, the placements are generally good. The various textile industries like Arvind mills, Raymonds, Ashima, etc visit the campus for the placement. The salary solely depends on the company you get placed in. It starts from about Rs. 3.5 lakhs per annum.

Overall feedback about NIFT Gandhinagar.

Placements: Placements were the usual package ranging from 3.6 to 1.8, though I personally think it would be a lot helpful for students if faculty members can do more on the alumni front. Contact alumni who have passed out 6-8 years back and they can easily get people placed. I think being a government organisation, neither the administration nor faculty members bother to work on this front, considering the fact that a few are NIFT graduates. It is a sad situation. Every college in the world has a alumni o...

Placements: Placements were not very prolific. Not sure of the percentage of the placements. Salary offered was below expectations starting from the range to 2 LPA to 5.5 LPA being the highest. Future group, Reliance Industries, Landmark and a lot of creative startups like Urban ladder were present.

Designers go to heaven. This is all I want to say, a tag line for all the designers at NIFT.

Placements: They were not too good. I would prefer to get placements on my own. Our centre has just started the placements, before last year, the students had to go to NIFT Delhi or NIFT Mumbai for placements. Being a new placement centre, may be the first placements were not good. But I truly believe that the placements will improve day by day.

NIFT Gandhinagar is perhaps the best centre for tech course. I have been in the industry for almost 6 years now and can clearly see the difference between a NIFT Gandhinagar student vs any other centre student. The facilities at the campus were nice, the tech labs, studios, comp labs. Everything was very comfortable and best. Hands on experience is of utmost priority and lot of lectures happen via actual industry used software. A lot of focus is given to personality grooming. Presentations are t...
