Good placement but the campus is small.

Placements: The average package is around 5-6 LPA, but the recruiters include top fashion companies such as Aditya Birla, Fabindia, and Decathlon. Most roles offered are for positions like merchandiser or buyer. While many students secure jobs through the college placement process, some also apply externally. The NIFT tag significantly enhances employability.

I am satisfied with the placements but dissatisfied with the salary packages offered.

Placements: Almost every student gets placement but the initial package offered is very little. The highest salary package offered was 18 LPA. But not everyone gets such packages. Companies like Raymond, Arvind, etc., offer placements. Some students get into the industry while some prefer going for higher studies.

I am dissatisfied with the course, college and faculty members.

Placements: Due to Covid-19, placements are still not organised. But if we see placements of last year students, they either not placed or placed with a very low package. Placements in our college are below average.

It is not worth a course, because at last you will get the knowledge, but you will not get the job.

Placements: Almost 100% of the students from our course got placed. The highest salary package offered is 12 LPA, and the average salary package offered ranges between 5-6 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered is 3 LPA. Top recruiting companies like Shahi Exports, Vardhman, Orient Craft, Arvind, etc., visit our campus for placements. It is the best fashion institute in India.

Placements: NIFT is a pioneer in style training in India. Undergraduate designing and fashion communication are the best courses here, which doesn't mean the master courses are less. MFM (Masters in Fashion Management) is a knowledgeable and ideal course for the individuals who need to work in style retail, showcasing and PR. Placements totally depend on students capabilities.

It was not at all good enough because of its placements.

Placements: It was not at all a nice experience getting placed through the placement cell of our college because I got placed in a fraud company. There were no desktops to work, no office. It was a store without even a washroom to use. There were no head designers to guide me, and I had to resign it as there was no chance of getting any good exposure for learning any practical work. It affected my career very badly that I had to change three companies in the search for a good one, and I'm still looking for ...

It is a good college for real fashion world experience.

Placements: Placements in the college were good as compared to our senior batch. Moreover, most of the students of our batch got pre-placement offers from their respective companies in which they were doing their graduation project. The highest salary package offered was ranged between 25-30 LPA. The lowest salary package offered was ranged between 15-20 LPA. Most of the companies were for styling and visual merchandising, and there were few numbers of companies for textile and fashion.

1460 strenuous yet totally worth it days of a so called 'adult'. .

Placements: Placement offers given by the college or the department are very poor. They do not provide you with much aid. However, majority of the population opts out of this and prefers looking for their own thing so at to satisfy their wants in a better way. The teachers tend to help out in certain cases but that solely depends on favouritism.

Come enjoy the college life with best faculty members, facilities and go with the best placements.

Placements: NIFT graduates are demanded mostly in the industry. Every year, many companies and brands like Max, Arvind Mills, Globes, etc., come to the campus at the end of the year and take deserving students with them. Last year, 88% of the students got jobs before graduation from the college. The highest package offered was 28 LPA and not only placements, but some companies offer internships also, and the student completes his/her course, they offer them jobs if deserving. From last many years, NIFTians ...

Good placements and infrastructure.

Placements: The placements of last year were very decent in which packages were going as high as 16 LPA, and the average students were easily able to get around 7-8 LPA placement. Firms from other countries have also visited for the internship, and mostly all the students have got a pretty decent job.

National Institute of Fashion Technology, Mumbai.

Placements: NIFT, Mumbai promises the best placements in the industry. Almost 99% students get placed with the packages as per the industry standards. The industry internship helps the students to understand the demands and needs of the industry from a fashion graduate. They are taught to work under those conditions which would help them survive in the industry in the future.

An average college that produces the designers.

Placements: In 2017, the placements were not satisfactory. Very few companies visit our college, but they did not offer good packages. Due to this reason, most of my seniors didn't attend the placements, and the ones who attended didn't get placed in any company. The package offered during the placements are always low, and hardly 5% of the students get the jobs in the placements.

Satisfied with this college.

Placements: The placements are not great. Every year, the number of students getting placed is reducing. The students had to search for the internships and placements by their own. The faculty help is low, and very few of them have contacts in the industry. Sometimes, they do get placements, or else the situation will be bad.

Really good infrastructure and course curriculum.

Placements: Although this centre is the best for placements, the offers in it are underwhelming. The salary starts from 13k. The positions are limited and disappointing. There are a few good brands though. The management courses see the better placements. Brands like reliance, shoppers stop and Maxx are also seen coming to the campus.

Come here for your interest and not for the brand name of NIFT.

Placements: Every year, the placements of the college are declining. The students are forced to attend the recruitment process of the companies which offer lower salary packages of Rs. 2 lakhs to Rs. 3 lakhs. These packages are very less as compared to the subsequent previous year packages. The fee is rapidly increasing by 10 percent every year which tells that it is not a good course to opt as you have to pay more fees. The scholarships are also very less for the institution as most of them are given to ot...

Not a good choice to opt career. Don't go for the brand, go for your interest and skills.

Placements: Earlier the placements were good at decent packages. But the scenario, has been changed. The students are not getting decent packages, and students have to attend for the salary packages of 2-3 lakhs per annum also. Then also all the students are not getting campus placements. Only 10-15 students are getting campus placements.

Placements: The placements are pretty good. Probably all major fashion brands/companies (like Raymond's, Sitaram, Jinny and Zohnhy, Addidas etc., visited the campus and also many export houses with a very good package. NIFT gives almost 99% of the placements. Also some students got pre-placement offer from the company in which they have done their project-work. The lowest package was 30,000 per months whereas some students got 3 lakhs/month in Bangladesh. The students got about 10-15 thousand rupees during ...
