No, there is no scope of joining NIFT Patna or any other NIFT Campus without appearing for the NIFT Entrance exam. The NIFT entrance exam is conducted by the NIFT Delhi and it is the common and only gateway for admission to NIFT.

The NIFT registration process is generally conducted in the month of November and the exam is conducted in the month of April.   

Yes, the National Institute of Fashion Technology will allow candidates with late fees. The late fee application window will open once the deadline to fill out the NIFT 2024 application form with regular fee closes. The start and last date to fill out the NIFT 2024 application form with late fee will be notified by the institute before the regular application form closes or sometime thereabout. The late fee for NIFT 2024 will be INR 5,000. The late fee has to be paid in addition to the application fee, which is INR 3000 for open category candidates.

Admissions at National Institute of Fashion Technology are entrance based. There is an entrance exam conducted by the institute named as NIFT test. The test includes various parts like Creative ability test, general ability test, group discussion etc. The students need to qualify in the entrance exam in order to get admission. Cutoff will be released based on the number of seats and applications. Students need to qualify in the cutoff rank also. The cutoff rank for B Des fashion designing in 2023 was 1692. The candidate will need the following documents to participate in the NIFT 2024 counselling process: Class 12/ degree mark sheet and certificate. Further, if the candidate is seeking admission to the PG course, then the candidate will also have to upload mark sheets and certificates of the qualifying degree examination.

In case of candidates who have appeared for the qualifying exam/ compartment (of final year/semester) and the result is due need to upload the date sheet /admit card for the examination. Other documents required are a Birth certificate, Category certificate, Medical fitness certificate, signed by a Registered Medical Practitioner in the prescribed format in original.

At the National Institute of Fashion Technology patna, the top recruiters were Monte Carlo, Nalli, H&M, Lifestyle, Reliance Brands Limited, wipro, Amazon etc. The packages offered by these companies were also good. Many other companies other than the above mentioned, also visited the Institute for the placement drive. The placement ratio was also good and almost 90 percent of the students got placed. 22 LPA was the highest package which was offered to the students. If we talk about average, it was 4.5 lpa. Many activities are conducted by the Institute which develops the skills of the  students, and students do not find it diffcult to get placed. 

The rankings of NIFT Delhi is higher than NIFT patna. But we talk about specifically about placements, in the 2023 placement drive, NIFT Patna offered better placements. The above statement can easily be justified by taking a look at the packages. The average pacakges of both the Institutes were around 4.5 lpa. The main difference was seen in the highest once. At NIFT delhi the highest pacakge offered was around 15 lpa, while at NIFT Patna the highest package offered was 22 lpa. The difference can be easily seen. Although NIFT Delhi is ahead of NIFT Patna in many factors such as rankings, infrastructure etc., but in placements NIFT Patna was better. 

As per the current procedure, there is no scope to pay the NIFT 2024 application fee using demand draft. In fact, the candidate has to pay the NIFT application fee 2024 online using online payment gateway, including credit card, debit card, or net banking. Note that unless the application fee has been paid successfully, the NIFT 2024 application form filling process will not be considered complete. The NIFT 2024 application fee for general category is INR 3,000. Meanwhile, SC, ST, and PwD candidates only need to pay INR 1,500. It is recommended that candidates pay the fee specific to their category, or else the candidate may not be considered for admission.
