Originally National Institute of Fashion Technology NIFT was established in 1996 under the aegis of the Ministry of Textiles, Government of India. The basic eligibility criteria for admission to MFM is that candidates must have passed graduation from a recognised institute/university or UG Diploma of minimum of three duration from NIFT/NID.
