NIFT Cutoff 2024 has been released for Round 5 for various categories. During the Round 5 cutoff, the closing ranks ranged between 226 and 2374 wherein BDes in Fashion Communication turned out as the toughest course to get into National Institute of Fashion Technology, Kannur for the students belonging to the General AI category students. NIFT Kannur is a government institute. The NIFT 2024 application form is expected to commence in November 2023. Meanwhile, the written exams - GAT and CAT - are expected to be conducted in the 1st week of February 2024.

The National Institute of Technology (NIFT) will conduct the Situation Test for the B. Des programme tentatively in the 4th week of April 2023. The Situation Test will be held offline at various NIFT campuses. The candidate is given the option to select their preferred test centre soon after declaration of NIFT written exam results. On the day of the exam, the candidate needs to report at the exam centre as per the reporting time mentioned in the admit card. Note that candidates who arrive at the exam centre after commencement of the exam will not be allowed entry inside the exam hall.
