My honest review about the college.

Placements: 60% of the students were placed in the college last year. The highest package offered was 11 LPA and the average package was 5 LPA with the lowest package of 3 LPA. Top recruiters are Deloitte, Western Digital, and Accenture. No students got any internships, they had to look for internships on their own.

The journey of NIST Autonomous to NIST University.

Placements: Speaking about the recent passout batch of 2024, the percentage of placement is very low; it is about 13–14%. This time the college has turned into a university, and there may be changes in placement for the passing year of 2025. The highest package for in-campus students turned out to be very low, about 8 LPA and the lowest turned out to be 4 LPA and the average was around 5-5.5 LPA. Off-campus, the highest package turned out to be 24 LPA this year. Before the year, there were too many big comp...

Absolutely satisfied with the college.

Placements: 80% of B.Tech students are placed. The highest package offered in our college is 23LPA and the lowest package offered is between 7-8 LPA. Top recruiting companies are HCL, MICROSOFT, ASIANPAINTS etc. Almost 70+ job were offered here. 80% of the students got internships in various software industries like Infosys, Intel, etc.

My Review for the NIST University.

Placements: The college placement scenario is the worst. Very few companies come for recruitment with very low packages. The students of the state only get the scholarship, whereas some studentss get the scholarship based on their rank in JEE Main. The average salary is 4.2 LPA.

Various club activities are held by the college.

Placements: This course is a newly introduced course. I am in the first year of this. So, I don't know much about the placements offered for this course. But there are many companies that hire students at this college. The highest package offered was around 23 LPA.

It is absolutely worth it to join this college.

Placements: My course is Computer Science and Engineering, and it is a very well-designed course. The average package offered in this course is around 7 lacs per year. The top companies that come to our college are TCS and L. There are a lot of internship opportunities present here.

Absolutely no regret, as the study is on point here.

Placements: I am a 2021 batch student, and my course is computer science and engineering. My college placement is average because, due to the recession this year, this went a bit low. But companies like TCS come here for recruitment. The highest package is around 25 lacs per annum.

Khushi's Review The only change I want is regarding placements.

Placements: Only forty to fifty percent of the students were placed in the current pass out batch of 2024. The average package is four to five lacs, and the highest package comes from the ECE branch, which is Western Digital, which is twenty lacs. There are not many internship opportunities available.

Review of National Institute of Science and Technology.

Placements: Placements in our college are very good. In the academic year 2024, 20 companies visited our college and above 50% of students are placed. There is also a scope for higher education in foreign countries like Vietnam and Hong Kong. There are also placement drives for 6 months.

Companies like Micro, Flipkart, etc. 60 percent of students got internships at NIST College. The top role that is offered by NIST is to get placement for all students.

Review of National Institute of Science and Technology.

Placements: In my course, the current placement rate is low, but the focus of the college is mainly on my branch. The college is trying to provide placements for the students as much as possible. The batches of 2020 and 2019 did not have very good placement opportunities, but it is expected to be settled by the time batch 2022 passes out.

The college is claiming good placements in the year 2015-2017, really good Facilities.

Placements: There are a more percentage of students from B.Teach as compared to any other course. The high package till now is about 21 LPA and the average goes from 2.4 LPA to 3 LPA. The most of the companies are IT companies. Among them are the Concentrix, TCS, etc. The companies have visited the campus before some years but now a days the visiting of the companies goes on decreasing due to the management trouble. May be there will be good placements in the upcoming years. Hope so.

Campus life at NIST BERHAMPUR.

Placements: There is much scope for placements right now, and the coming future also seems nice. In the last placement, I have hardly seen about 6-7 companies coming for recruitment in the college, of which these companies are that good. The average CTC is also poor, i.e., 3 LPA.

Above average placements and good faculty members. The exposure is good.

Placements: Regarding placements I would consider it as above average. Almost 85 to 90% of students are placed every year. And specially for electronics and communication branch students, prominent companies like Western digital ( around 19-20 LPA), Texas instruments and many more visit our college during placement drive. So there are plenty of opportunities for students.

It was doing great got bad for a while but is stronger than ever now.

Placements: The highest package ever received is 22lpa by Western digital. About only 50 to 60% people get in campus placement. Top recruiting companies would be Western Digital, Cognizant, Amazon etc. The lowest package received would be 4.5 LPA. The course I have chosen was introduce in 2022 so do not know much about this course.

Going good in NIST till now.

Placements: Since the covid crisis, companies are coming for recruitment but placement percentage has gone down. The highest package from ECE branch is INR 19.5 LPA and the average package is INR 5.6 LPA. Overall, one can get a good starting package by preparing well. TCS and WIPRO are the top recruiters.
