The college has very good infrastructure and facilities.

Placements: About 88% of the students got placed in our college. The highest salary package offered is 8.5 LPA, the average salary package offered is 4.5 LPA and the lowest salary package offered is 3.5 LPA. Top recruitment companies are Adani Power, Vedanta Power, Torrent Power, RE Power, Tata Power and many others. All placed students got an internship. The top role offered is an executive trainee.

A very below average college. Don't opt for it. It was a very big mistake to join this college.

Placements: 1. Only 7 students were placed in my batch. 2. The highest package offered 7.85 LPA, the lowest package 4 LPA. 3. Adani Power, Genpact are the top roles offered. 4. 3 students got internship in Worldref ltd. 5. Expertise in Power Plant specialising in Thermal. Some mechanical engineering subjects are in course so students can go for mechanical branch too.

National Power Training Institute, Badarpur.

Placements: The batch size was 70+ and the course is B.Tech in Power Engineering during which in the 3rd semester we had an option to choose mechanical or electrical. About 40% of the students were placed. The highest package was 8 LPA (CTC) and the lowest was 3 LPA, thus making the average around 4 LPA. The top recruiting firms were Vedanta, TATA Power etc.

Much better options available out there. Do not recommend until some fundamental changes are made.

Placements: Placements are really bad. At least 30 to 40 percent of the batch was unplaced. The highest CTC would be around 7.5-8 LPA, average would be somewhere around 3.5-4 LPA and the lowest CTC would be 3 LPA. Secure Meters, Vedanta and a few other power generation and T&D companies visited.

The college is very good and has a good learning environment.

Placements: The placement scenario in college is very good. I got placed in Vedanta Ltd. Our class has 54 students, out of which, 36 students got placed. Adani Power, GVK Power, Tata Power, etc., are the companies that visited for campus drives. Mahinder sir is our placement coordinator. We are pursuing thermal power training in this college.

A great place to get in-depth knowledge about power plants.

Placements: Placements in the college for our batch were good. Reputed companies like Vedanta, CLP, and Hindalco, etc., visited the campus for final placements. They offered different roles like JE in operations and maintenance departments, etc. We had weekly power plant visits which helped us in gaining practical experience about the operations in a power plant. We also had winter training for a month in the power plant which helped us to gain knowledge about the power plant industry.

You can come here for better MBA in power management.

Placements: The placements are good and improving year by year by the efforts of students and teachers as well. The college is getting more companies to come into college for placements. The average package of college is about 3 to 4 Lacs. There are certain programmes to motivate students in college to get placements.

Overall not a good college.

Placements: Only if you're in CSE/IT branch than there is only a hope to get placed otherwise there is no placement option for students who are form other branches. The salary package is below the average and only one or two students who get placed to above average. There is no internship or training programme organised by the college.

Npti not pretty good in terms of college life and study.

Placements: Placements are decent. Many good companies visit the campus and offer an average package of 4-5 LPA. Companies like Samsung, Infosys, Suplab, Siemens, Nagarro, Sopra Steria, TCS, HP, Ericsson and many more good companies visited the campus. This year, Holds have changed so we are hoping for better placements. The lowest salary offered was 1.5 LPA and the highest was around 6 LPA.

Don't expect any thing good from here.

Placements: The placements are very bad here. We can even say that there are no placements and we cannot get any internships from here. So don't expect anything good from here, it is just waste of money and time. You will get only a B.Tech degree in power engineering, and that's it. So don't take admission in this college.

Npti another failure among government institutes.

Placements: : Placements are decent. Many good companies visit the campus and offer an average package of 4-5 LPA. Companies like Samsung, Infosys, Suplab, Siemens, Nagarro, Sopra Steria, TCS, HP, Ericsson and many more good companies visited the campus. CS and IT companies are more compared to core ECE and EEE. Approximately all my seniors were placed. This year, Holds have changed so we are hoping for better placements. The lowest salary offered was 1.5 LPA and the highest was around 6 LPA.

Poor Infrastructure. NO PLACEMENTS.

Placements: There are no placements at all. There is no placement cell. All the workload is on the shoulder of students. There are very few placed students for our batch as well as our seniors. A very few internships to add on. Very few companies visited for campus drive.

My honest review on NPTI, Faridabad.

Placements: The placement is quite good here. If you are an average student with an average skill set and average knowledge, you may get placed here. Everyone else lacks in skills here because they do not give soft skill training. Overall, the placements are average here.

The college has bad infrastructure, faculty and placements.

Placements: Till 2011, the placement was 100%, but now from 2015, the placement is poor. Maximum 20-30% of the students get placed every year. From 2015 pass-outs, till now, only 15% of the students are placed in my college. The highest salary package offered was around 9 LPA, and the lowest package was 3 LPA. The problem is, the placement cell of the college doesn't do anything for the placements of the students, but if you are lucky, you can get the placement offer, then you have good future in your caree...

Absolutely dissatisfied with placements.

Placements: There are no placements. Since thermal power sector is going down, the placement in NPTI has also gone down very much. Most of the companies are on halt and coal block is also imprinting its mark on our placement. Almost half of the course is completed, and only three students got placed till now.

Absolutely dissatisfied with all terms.

Placements: Very bad placements at my time. Even the senior batch placement was not good. Around 60% of the students were placed in my batch. Very few reputation companies have visited the campus like Siemens, TPDDL, TES, etc., where It's all because of the college, and it didn't help in calling any companies.

The finest institute for MBA in power management.

Placements: The placement is always 100% with all the power companies and consulting firms. Almost all the power companies are visiting the campus like Tata, Jindal, torrent etc., are always coming. Big 4 consulting PWC, Deloitte, ABPS, Feedback etc., are also coming to the campus.

The cherish in the name of NPTI is blown away.

Placements: In the name of placements, there is nothing which should be appreciated. From the last batch (2013-17), only 15% of the total students were placed. And from the current year batch (2014-18), this stat is poorer. Only 8 students are placed out of 75 till now. Around, 3-4 years ago the placements were good but now it's graph is going down year by year. Last year, 5 companies visited our campus and the highest salary offered was 7.95 lacs per annum, and the lowest was 3.5 lacs per annum. The compan...

It is a good college if you want to prepare for government exams.

Placements: The placement level has declined drastically after 2012. Now, placements are less than 20%. You have to be very active in academics to get placed. In my final year, only a few companies visited the college. The present scenario of the power sector is also affecting placements. Government is concerned about solar, and the course we are studying is about thermal power.
