Placements: Placement is wrost. Till now. No mechanical company has arrived our campus and Last 1 month is left with us to complete our B.Tech. It not only for mechanical engineering student. It's for all departments of our college. Some company does come to our college and offer 10k per month including 7days of work in a week. It's a maximum salary student offered of mechanical engineering.

Placements: When I first joined my college, placements were good. Not only service-based hiring, but there were a lot of students who got into startups as well. Almost 95% of students from CS and IT were placed. Gradually, there was decrease the placement, still, top students secured their places in mass-recruiting firms like Infosys and Wipro.
