Excellent patient inflow gives good clinical exposure.
Placements: Around 90 percent of students were placed last year, with the highest package at around 50 lac per annum and the lowest at 10 lac per annum. The top recruiters were corporate hospitals, and 100 percent of students secured internships. The top roles offered were based on their qualifications and varied accordingly.
Infrastructure: The hostel facilities are good, and the academic blocks are excellent and fully air-conditioned. The library contains thousands of books, research papers, etc. The college has a well-equipped badminton court and a cricket ground near the hostel, and each hostel has its own volleyball court.
Faculty: The professors are very knowledgeable, with excellent communication skills and years of experience in clinical practice. The course curriculum aligns with the National Medical Commission, which is competency-based. The exam pattern is standardized across Madhya Pradesh.

Review of Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose Medical College.
Placements: In medical college, there are no placements; there are internships and bonds. After completing 4.5 years of study, you have to go through a mandatory 12-month internship in a college hospital. During internship, a basic stipend is given, which differ from state to state. As for our college, it's currently 13400 rupees per month. After completion of internship, there is mandatory bond of 1 year ( if you have not opted for scholarship) in which you have to serve in rural areas. A basic salary is given, which also depends on the state; for Madhya Pradesh, it is roughly around 60,000 per month. After MBBS there are lot of options available; either you can do PG or JR, etc.
Infrastructure: As our college is established in 1955, the infrastructure is quite old, but it is getting renovated, like the new academic block, library, reading room, etc. There are all the facilities you need like library, reading rooms, hostels, different labs, etc. I did not opt for the hostel but the facilities are average.
Faculty: All the faculty members are very senior, well known and very qualified doctors. The quality of teaching is also quite good but the syllabus of MBBS is very vast so we have to complete it ourselves. The curriculum for MBBS is designed by NMC and is easier and more step-by-step. The exams are difficult and you have to give everything to pass. There are two main exams apart from terms and tests: pre-university and university exams.
Other: Well it was like a dream for me and my father to become doctors; that's why I chose this noble professions. There are not many events occurring in college; there is an annual gathering during December, which is one of most enjoyable period. The college is situated quite far from the main city, roughly 10 to 12 km so everytime you need something or go to a movie, club, etc. You have to go to the city.

    Life at NSCB MC Jabalpur.
Placements: As with other medical colleges, this college also does not offer any placements. But as a well-reputed, old and third-best government medical college in Madhya Pradesh, your MBBS degree gets some weight. Your future salary or earnings depend on the skills you develop during the course and, furthermore, on your specialty course after MBBS.
Infrastructure: NSCB is one of the oldest medical colleges in India, but it recently got a new hospital, building a brand new boys hostel for 1st year MBBS students and a new academic block with fully AC covered and soundproofing with a capacity of 250+ students and four leads for students at the back. A library with all essential books for students is available, along with an attached reading room. Hostels costs 12,000 per year with free electricity and are cleaned regularly. Mess food is good at 3000 per month and is not compulsory. You can get tiffin services if you are not satisfied with mess food. Medical facilities are free for students. Basketball, badminton, a volleyball court and a field are available on campus. Wi-Fi service is available.
Faculty: NSCB is a well-established medical college with great teachers or better called doctors, with a lot of experience. All faculty members are well-qualified MDs or MSs in their respective fields. In MBBS, one should get the basics of everything, but your master doctor decides what kind of doctor you are going to be. Terminals Exams are taken regularly on time and subject-wise monthly tests are also there. University exams are organised by MPMSU and the difficulty level depends on your knowledge about the subject. And you are going to be a doctor after all so it is not going to be that easy.
Other: I have chosen MBBS mainly because, in this profession, your skills are the source of your income and you are self-employed. Talking about campus life, on average, a college does not have a well-defined campus but is surrounded by nature, not in the middle of the city. You get greenery here. Average on other extracurricular activities. Scholarships are available, like the Medhavi Yojna and Post-Metric.

    This college has good placements.
Placements: The placement of the college is absolutely amazing. About 80 percent of students get a job every year, with an average salary between INR 3 and 8 lacs per year. Students get placed in top hospitals. Most students got their internships from this course. Students can either join a hospital or open their own clinic.
Infrastructure: The classrooms at the college are really good, have a better environment for studying, and have good furniture. There are labs and libraries to study in. In hostel rooms, you can have Wi-Fi, a study room with AC, an amazing mess, and a canteen with quality food. Medical facilities are also available.
Faculty: Faculty is very helpful, teachers are well qualified, knowledgeable, and experienced, and communication skills are appreciative. This is a professional course, and one can secure their future. The semester exams are tough, but if you study well, you can get over this. To pass the exams, you have to score at least 50 percent.
