New Delhi YMCA, Institute for Management Studies Reviews on Placements, Faculty & Facilities ,Connaught Place

Placements: Placement begin before the examinations start. So, New Delhi YMCA did indeed bring in placement opportunities for students of PG Diploma in Office Management course. But, till now, the companies that have been offered to the students are average—not so good but not so bad as well. The top recruiting company that has come till now is VFS Global. Placements: The institute has a 100% placement guarantee, but the placement I was getting is not good for me. Because of the current COVID situation, placements offers are very low, and some are not suitable for me. So I did not get any placement. Institute did not try much for helping students with placement assistance.

Placements: Around 80% of students in our college are now employed and get placed. The highest package goes around 25 lakh. The faculty is experienced and approachable, ensuring that students receive both academic guidance and practical insights. The campus itself, though compact, is well-maintained and equipped with essential facilities, making it conducive for focused study sessions.

Placements: PGDMS is a valuable course one should definitely pursue this if you want to make career in marketing and sales. Almost all my batch mates are employed in different MNCs. You can easily expect a package of 2.5 lpa to 12 lpa depending upon the individual capabilities. Top recruiting companies are Audi, Nielsen, Asian paints etc.

Placements: 7% is the placement rate, i.e. around 10-11 students got placed. No package was offered by the institute. Asian Paints, Oppo, ITC, Taj, etc. were some of the claimed top recruiting companies. 0% students got internship. The major roles were warehouse executive/manager, digital marketing, retail and manufacturing.

Placements: There are maximum 35-40 students in a batch. The lowest salary package offered is 80,000-1 LPA, and the highest salary package offered is 5-6 LPA. Bata, Axis Bank, Asian Paints, Wipro, etc., are some top recruiting companies for our course. Almost 85-90% of the students got an internship from our course. Top roles offered to the students are manager, recruiter and trainee roles.

Placements: Because of recession and lockdown not many students were recruited but overall the placement cell of New Delhi YMCA is quite good. There is still room for improvement in the placement cell of New Delhi YMCA although the college offers students lots of opportunities via internship but when it comes to final placement that's where it needs improvement.

Placements: The college offers a wide variety of courses, and the enrollment of students was quite average. The course in which I enrolled had a strength of about 30 students, who belong to different courses. Since we had certain subjects in common, so the strength of the class was never accurate. I am not sure regarding the placement opportunities because I had just finished the course in December 2019 and by the time results were out, the pandemic had taken a toll, and no further discussions were made for...

Placements: As every year lots of companies visit and 90 per cent students every year get placed with a good package. The lowest package may be 3 Lacs per annum and the highest package is 16 Lacs per annum. Around 90 per cent of students were placed last year. The average package offered is 5 to 8 Lacs per annum.

Placements: I just got an internship for 3 months in sales but no college placement. No students got placed from business management from college. Many different companies from different sectors had visited our college and many of the students are working but from our batch no student got placed.

Placements: 70% got placements. Many companies came for interviews like Kotak bank and other top companies. YMCA is established is Connaught place so after doing the course, getting a job in corporate at a beginner level is easy.
