Placements: Only about 30% of students were placed. Of these, some joined as guest lecturers in various colleges. Some did B.Ed and got placed in schools. We have no chance of doing an internship. Top roles offered would be limited to only being permanent lecturer posts in colleges or research, after aquiring NET or JRF. Other possibilities would be school teachers, medical transcription and coding.

Placements: I am pursuing B.Ed here. Till now, my experience in college has been very helpful for me; especially during my recruitment to my part-time job. My seniors also have the same experience and opinion. The teachers are very supportive during placement drives. Many companies reach out to the college for placement drives and job fests.

Top recruiting companies were Toyota, Blossom, etc. I specialised in international business, which helped me to understand the concept of export and import transactions.

The average salary offered ranges from Rs. 25,000-30,000 per month. Technovalley Edappally company visited our college for placements. Only 10% of students got placed in Technovalley, and some of them got placed in Red Hat. Roles like ethical hackers and cybersecurity are offered in our course. Internship cases are huge.

Placements: In my department placement is very few. In my batch, only 4 students got placed, and they also declined the offer and went for higher studies. I don't get any placement, and many students do jobs in the private sector now. In my college, basic placement giving companies are Wipro mainly, but their salary is low, the starting salary I heard is 7 thousand rupees at that time. In my department, our senior batch got no placement.
