{Source: B.A. students & alumni}

Based on student reviews and testimonials, here's a summary of the pros and cons:

Pros:

* Excellent faculty with a high experience rate
* Good infrastructure, including Wi-Fi, library, and lab facilities
* Strong emphasis on extracurricular activities and sports
* Opportunities for students to participate in festivals and events
* Good hostel facilities with decent food and cleanliness

* No guaranteed placements or internships
* Course curriculum may not be entirely relevant to industry demands
* Infrastructure issues, such as poor maintenance and outdated facilities
* Food quality in the hostel mess may vary

Placement Scenario:
While some students reported getting placed in top companies like Wipro and Infosys, the overall placement scenario appears to be limited. According to one student, "None of the students got an internship from our course." Another student mentioned that only a few students from their batch got placed, while most opted for government services, teaching, or research.

Recommendation:
If you're considering joining Nizam College's BA program, it's essential to weigh the pros and cons carefully. While the college excels in certain areas, its limitations in terms of job prospects and infrastructure may impact your career goals. Good infrastructure and facility at Nizam college .
Placements: It's a Government institute. The chances for placement are a bit less when compared to a private institute. The companies providing placements generally hold good grip over private colleges. The placements in the companies on an average is good and satisfactory.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is well built and spacious. It has got everything a student needs. Nice campus. Hostel is a bit average. Spacious college and separate blocks for separate departments. Infrastructure is well built and properly maintained till date.
Faculty: Faculty is well experienced and well trained. Curriculum is well settled. No hurry in the curriculum. Examinations are conducted smoothly and are feasible. If exam collide with any other events, when asked by students, the body of control for examination, changes accordingly.

Come study and change your life style as a good student and become nizamian.
Placements: Placements are provided in group but conducted separately in final year. Every one interested can try for jobs. Students have to reach companies by their own. Actually only seventy percent of the students will be engaged in internship. Left over students will search out side companies. Few years back the placement are good but not now.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is average because it is old college as compared with other colleges. Some blocks infrastructure is very old but the blocks which have built newly is good. Hostel facility is only boys then what girls who come from another districts. Canteen and hostel food are good. Sports are good at our college. There is a large ground for us.
Faculty: The teachers who selected for explanation are done Masters and Ph.D. s etc. Everyone are friendly with us. The books will be provided at library. We can borrow three books from library every year. Again we have to return them. It is easy to qualify semester exams because teachers will train students like that. Pass percentage is also good .
Other: Freshers, farewell, and all festival and cultural events are celebrated in our college. It is a wonderful college I would like to Recommend every one.

The infrastructure is good here, and it is a good campus.
Placements: All the facilities are available in our college. We have the best labs, Wi-Fi, air-conditioned classrooms with a high rich look. Even the computer labs are the best. Biological laboratory and Physics laboratory are also good. All course laboratories are available. Hostel facilities are good, and the food served in the mess is very good and tasty. A canteen is also available and medical facilities are provided to students. There is a large playground on campus.
Infrastructure: The hostel facilities are good here. Rooms are also neat and clean, and the food served is also fine. Only limited students are allowed in rooms to stay, but the disadvantage is the hostel facility is available only for boys. Even it is available from the second year only. First-year students are not provided with the hostel. The library is also available for students, and they can borrow three books for free. They have to return them after the exams.
Faculty: The faculty members are highly experienced, and all are honored with a doctorate. They teach you like a parent, and they are also friendly. Professors are a part of various research works, and they also explain us about their plans and also ask about our innovative ideas.
Other: I am very much interested in commerce, so I have chosen B.Com course. The best thing about this course is it is easy. There are many best ways to choose after B.Com course.

Q:   How effective is the placement cell for B.Sc. courses at Nizam College?

A:
{Source: B.Sc. students & alumni}

Placement Cell Effectiveness

Based on the feedback from students and alumni, here are some key findings:

* Companies visiting campus: Companies like Wipro, Tech Mahindra, and others visit the campus for placements every year.
* Salary packages: While the highest salary package offered is 2 LPA, the average package ranges from 2.5 LPA to 7 LPA.
* Number of students placed: Around 10-15% of students get jobs, and a significant number of Computer Science students secure placements.
* Internship opportunities: Although there aren't dedicated internship programs for B.Sc. students, some students do get selected for internships.
* Faculty support: The faculty provides training sessions to prepare students for interviews and company-specific tests.
* Placement process: Students need to register with the placement cell to access job opportunities.

Overall, while the placement cell seems to make efforts to engage with recruiters and facilitate placements, the effectiveness appears limited compared to other departments like BBA and Chemistry. However, the placement cell does provide some benefits, such as training sessions and exposure to potential employers.
