NIIFT counseling 2025 - The Northern India Institute of Fashion Technology (NIIFT) will START the counseling process for NIIFT 2025 after the declaration of results.
Candidates will be called for counseling based on their scores in the NIIFT 2025 exam.
The seat allotment of NIIFT 2025 will be conducted in THREE rounds. Candidates who are allocated seats have to download the provisional invitation letter cum counseling letter from the admission portal.
To download the letter, use your application number, date of birth, and email ID.
The allotment of seats will be based on the NIIFT 2025 merit rank of the candidate. Also, the allotment will be conducted separately for 85% of seats for Punjab residents and 15% of seats for outside Punjab candidates.
After completion of the three regular rounds of counseling, open admission will be conducted to fill vacant seats, if any. Seats will be allotted on a first-come, first-served basis during the admission round.
The NIIFT 2025 exam will be conducted in January 2025.

Admission to the above seats will be based on the NIIFT 2025 scores and the options selected during counseling. Post allotment of seats, the candidate needs to pay the seat-acceptance fee to confirm the admission process.

Quick Facts Related to NIIFT Mohali Counselling
- Candidates who were shortlisted for counseling have to attend the counseling session on the designed date and time. The counseling for NIIFT 2025 will be conducted in June 2025.
- The candidate has to come ready for the counseling session with educational and other prescribed documents such as Class 10th & 12th certificates, Degree of qualifying examination, Marksheets of the qualifying exam, 4 passport-size photographs, and any other essential documents.
- Only such candidates who complete the document verification process will be considered for seat allotment.
- Candidates will allotted seats based on NIIFT 2024 merit rank, participating institute selected, and availability of seats.
- Upon the allotment of the seat, the candidate has to deposit the NIIFT admission fee through a bank demand draft. If the payment was not done within the given deadline, the allotment will be canceled, and the seat will be allocated to the candidate next in the order of merit.

NIIFT Result 2025
The Northern India Institute of Fashion Technology (NIIFT) declares the results of the NIIFT exam within a few days of the conduct of the design entrance exam. The results will be released online at the admission portal of the institutes.
To check their results, the candidate needs to log in to the result portal using their login credentials.
Such candidates who qualify in the NIIFT 2025 entrance exam will be eligible to appear in the NIIFT 2024 counseling and seat-allotment process.
The candidate can check their qualifying status in the NIIFT scorecard, which will also contain other details like section-wise and total marks, merit rank, etc.
