Placements: Placements are good. The hall is old but good. The companies are basically based in Assam. The starting salary will be low, but year after year you will get a good amount of money. The minimum requirement of CGPA for an interview is 6.6. So maintain it.
Placements: Every year there are 25 to 40% students placed in our course. The highest package offered is 400000 and the lowest package is 280000 with an average package of 320000. L&T, BESMAK, Marico, ITC, etc. are the top companies. 70 % I already liked mechanical engineering. I wanted to become a mechanical engineer in life, that's why I studied mechanical engineering.
Placements: Top recruiting companies are mostly construction related such as dalmia, gamon, etc. Top roles that are offered in our course - junior engineer, Ast. Engineering. Student above 60% in HSLC exam and above 45-50% in Polytechnic admission test, can easily get a seat in this college.
