NSHM Durgapur Reviews on Placements, Faculty & Facilities ,

Placements: There are 70 students in my batch where 40 are placed. Our senior batch is also placed in reputed company like TCS, Cognizant and many more core companies. 50% of the students are placed. The highest salary was Rs. 25,000 per month, the lowest was Rs. 15,000 per month and the maximum were Rs. 20,000 per month. Placements: No one has got placed from the civil department in the year 2015. The college said that they would not serve any job. Some of my friends have no work till now, and they are trying to get a job. The college management has no responsibility to give a good job for engineering students.

Placements: The placements opportunities are great in NSHM Durgapur. The big companies like TCS, CTS, Capgemini, Deloitte, and many others, which gives a great kick start to the student's career just after graduation. They give the training to sit for interviews. NSHM has a great history of campus recruitments.

Placements: Not good campusing in our batch and our senior batch. 30 to 40 percent of the students are placed. The highest salary is 3 LPA and the lowest 1 LPA. All companies are not visiting the campus. Mostly call centres, or sales companies came for campusing. 50 percent of the students go for the internship. No stipend is offered during the internship in any company. In our college, we have a placement cell. It is helpful to us.

Placements: The placement from this college is far good than most of the business schools in east india. I was placed in TCS, concentrix, aditya birla group n few other companies. There is good chance of getting placed in good company depending how you give your interview. The avrg salary provided is 2.5 lacs however the highest can go upto 4-5 lacs pa or minimum of 1.5 as well. Placement is 100% if u take call centre job offers into consideration else its hard luck getting a good position in good industry....

Placements: The college has the wonderful placement opportunities. There will be a lot of companies coming for offering jobs to almost all the students. The most bright students get offers from the best companies with better salary packages, and the ones who are a bit weak in studies get a little low salary package.

Placements: The placements were fine but concerning civil engineering, it was dull, and only 2-3 companies visited the campus for the same. The percentage of student placed were around 60% of the total, and in core branches, it was way too low. The salary offered on an average was 3 lacs per annum, and no internships were provided.

Placements: In our college in 2016 (our senior), Srishti Suman got 7 placements and made a college record. And, in my batch, Nikita Anupama got 5 placement offers from the top reputed companies. In our batch, almost 70% are placed in the reputed companies. But, the minimum salary offered was Rs.14,500, and maximum salary was Rs.33,000.

Placements: I was in the batch of 2013-16 and got placed in the multiple companies with the very good domain. Wipro and TCS are the mass recruitment companies for NSHM, and most of the students get placed in good companies if he has done a little bit work during the placement time.

Placements: NSHM graduates have been placed in the reputed companies world over. Not have they just made a mark but also created a niche for themselves. They have a bigger picture by impacting life in general with their intellectual culture and social perspectives. They have worked with the best companies worldwide making us proud.

Placements: The placements are quite good. The college is arranging the internship in foreign. The package of salary is above Rs. 12000. Hotels like Marriott, ITC, Leela, Taj, Hyatt Regency, Novotel, etc. 100% of the students got the internship from the college. The stipend was like Rs. 1200 a month. The college also has a placement cell which arranges the placement for us.

Placements: I think our batch gets the better opportunities compared to our seniors. They got the placed in the different companies like Essar Oil and Gas, Simplafix Structure, Shyam Industrial, and many more. Some of the seniors also got good marks in GATE and CAT examinations.

Placements: The placements are very good in our college. Some big companies also come to recruitments like PayTm, Tech Mahindra, etc. The placement cell is very helpful to give the jobs to the students. The college helps us to get a job, and the college wants every student to get placed in good company with a good package.

Placements: The placement is average. We cannot say that they give huge packages, but it is average. But if you have good skills then you can get a good package. Recently, BYJU recruited a student offering a package of Rs. 9 LPA which is the highest till date. Believe in yourself.

Placements: Wipro, Cognizant, ATTO, TCS are the companies that visited the campus. 80% students are placed every year with Rs. 2.25 lakhs as the highest salary offered while the lowest salary offered was Rs. 1.75 lakhs. The roles that were offered include programme analyser and software developer. In our college, Wipro had come two times and selected most number of candidate for the vista and the wase program.

Placements: The placement is almost 100% every year. Also, well-known companies and reputed hotels visit our campus. In the current year, 55% of the student got their job, and it is still counting. Today, Zuri hotels are coming to conduct interviews, and we are going to participate in it. Durgapur campus is better than Kolkata campus.

Placements: All multinational companies like Infosys, Tech Mahindra, SAP, Cognizant, TCS, Wipro, Delloitte, etc. come for recruiting the students mainly for IT sectors. The scenario was quite similar for our seniors and for our batch. The average placement package offered is around Rs. 2 -3 lakhs per annum. There are also many companies that come with internships offers.

Placements: 40-50% students were placed from the last batch. It was not too good and not too bad. The average salary offered was 15,000 the highest was almost 20,000 and lowest was 8,000. Some of them were recruited to work as customer support services. And some for a higher post. 15% students got the internship from the college from the current batch(3rd year) with an average stipend worth 6-7,000.

Placements: The placement is not so good. Last year, on-campus and off-campus placements are approximately 50 out of 70. The highest salary offered is 3 lakhs and the lowest salary offered is 2 lakh. The company visited on campus are - Cognizant, Mindtree, Flippo, Accenture, Amazon, etc. These companies offered roles like Customer handler, software engineering, market representatives etc. 30% students got the internship from the college and the stipend range is 3000 to 7000. ...

Placements: Didn't participate in counselling as I already had a job offer from a firm from my hometown. Though very few students from my stream landed a good job with the core companies which visited our college. Most of the students opted for higher studies. The average salary was more or less between 3-3.2 LPA.
