Good Placement but Bad College Life Because of Rules and Regulations.
Placements: Placement is very good. Top companies like Amazon, TCS, Infosys, and Deloitte recruit from our college. A very high percentage of students were placed this year. The highest package of all time was 46 LPA; last year, it was 32 LPA. CSE, Electrical, and E&I students have top placement records.
Infrastructure: Decent and old hostel building; only the laboratory building is newly made. Wi-Fi is very good. Food quality in our hostel is good, but not in the other three. Sports are quite decent. College authority doesn't put any effort into sports; it depends only on students.
Faculty: Teachers are knowledgeable but a little less helpful. The teaching quality of some teachers is good but bad in the case of others. The course is relevant but offers very little job opportunities. Semester exams are easy to score, but unfortunately, the pass percentage is not very high.
Other: I chose this course as per my interest in research. The college fest is good. Students are good and cooperative. Extracurricular activities are also good. Clubs are good.

Review of Odisha University of Technology and Research.
Placements: Placements are decent with the majority of students bagging offers from IT MNCs like TCS, Wipro, Infosys. There are no core companies for the civil branch, but there's lots of opportunities for IT and CSE students as well as Mechanical and Electrical, with increasing placements each year.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our course is average; there are Wi-Fi facilities, but you can access only study-related things in it. No games, no recreational things, which is a bad thing according to me. The classes of IT and CSE are not equipped with AC, but slowly they are making the classes AC. For example, in 2024, civil classes will be equipped with AC. Hostels are well-maintained, with standard-quality food served in hostel and canteen.
Faculty: The faculty members of our college are really average in teaching as they adopt a very old way of teaching, and also the technology they teach is not up to date, so you need to be updating yourself from outside sources. The exams are held every 6 months, and they have a strict attendance policy of 75% to attend the exams.

It's an average college and it doesn't charge much.
Placements: Placements are not very lucrative, but you could get a good company like Deloitte, L&T, Tata, Maruti Suzuki, etc. Obviously, you need to work on both academic and skill development. The average package is 6.7 LPA. And CSE is most preferred if you are a placement-oriented guy.
Infrastructure: College has centralized Wi-Fi with a good network. But the infrastructure is not up to the mark. The walls need to be painted, and buildings need to be relooked. The hostel is not enough to keep all the college students. If you got something called low rank, you'll not get a hostel in college.
Faculty: Faculty is strict. The mid-sems, end-sems, and practical record are all checked very strictly, that too within the due date. The curriculum is hectic for sure in an engineering college. Being in 1st year, you could get help from seniors. Seniors are of good nature. Hope it helps you.
Other: Clubs do conduct fests and all. And the college being in the city is still away from the crowd in a jungle.

Good placements, the worst infrastructure.
Placements: CSE students get good in-campus and off-campus placements compared to other branches, and it's pretty high compared to other state colleges. The highest in-campus placement is 42 LPA, and 576 students got placed. Overall, placements are good, and students just come here for placements.
Infrastructure: In the first year, you might not get a hostel; mostly, it depends on rank and luck. The Wi-Fi is good, but sometimes it's super laggy. The mess food is decent, and canteen food is also not that good but manageable, and there's no such dedicated room for sports.
Faculty: Teachers are really good, but some teachers are not that good. Well, you have to study by yourself and mostly use YouTube. Semester exams are difficult, and college faculty is really strict towards attendance. They won't let you give exams if your attendance is low.
Other: Fests are rare but good.

It is one of the most prestigious and best universities in Odisha.
Placements: The campus has a very good placement record. Many big companies come to recruit their fresh employees from our prestigious university. Last year, the salary package offered was 44 LPA. Many other students got a salary package of above 12 LPA. TCS, Google, Microsoft, and many other companies show interest in our students and recruit them for their companies.
Infrastructure: Facilities and the infrastructure are good. There is Wi-Fi. It is fast enough to do programming work. Our classrooms are also beyond expectations which we usually think about a government college. Hostel facilities are also available for all-year students. The mess food is good enough to eat.
Faculty: The allotted professors and teachers are very helpful and ambitious throughout the academic. Mostly all of our professors have completed their M.Tech and Ph.D. from renowned IITs and universities. The curriculum is more relevant to various individuals who are highly dedicated. Its semester exams make students more skillful for the future.
Other: The university is the best for everyone who enters here to fulfill their dream. Our course is about AI and ML which is for the future. It helps to put the society in a better place.

Average faculty in our college.
Placements: The placements are really average. The companies that mostly hire from our college are TCS, Accenture, Wipro, and Infosys, and some top students get hired by Microsoft, Google, or Amazon-like companies. The percentage placed is around 80% and the average package is around 8–9 LPA for them, and for CSE students in core branches, it is as low as 3 LPA.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our course is average; there are Wi-Fi facilities, but you can access only study-related things in it—no games, no recreational things—which is a bad thing according to me.
