KIIT : Great placement and vibrant Campus life.
Placements: I am a 4th year student and my placement is ongoing. I guess 60% of students got placed. The highest package offered is 52 LPA and the lowest is about 3.5 LPA. Reputed companies like Paypal, JP Morgan, Deloitte Birla etc. already visited our campus. About 80% of students got internships in many companies like Paypal, Providence, JP Morgan, EPAM, Micron, etc. Top roles include software developer, Analyst etc.
Infrastructure: Many facilities like a lab, Wi-Fi, and smart classrooms with projectors are provided in my college. I am a computer science student so I enjoyed my labs because it was amazing. I also enjoyed my hostel life a lot. They provide washing machines and induction. If you are non-vegetarian, then the mess is too good for you because they will give you non-veg almost every day. The veg food option is also good. They also provide reading rooms, sports facilities, Gym etc. If you need some medicine immediately inform the Hostel Warden, and they will provide you with everything.
Faculty: The faculty are well educated, qualified and helpful. They will provide study material during the exam. The curriculum is relevant and makes the students industry ready. The curriculum covers AI ML, Big data and Data Science with a focus on practical learning. The exams are moderately difficult with a pass percent of 70-80%.
Other: I chose to do this course because of the industry-relevant curriculum, and strong placement. I think more electives and better internships would be better. The best thing is high placement rates. Campus life is like a vibrant fest diverse crowd, excellent connectivity, and green surroundings.

KIIT: The best private college in Bhubaneswar.
Placements: Placements are good for the students who are passing in 2024. Some of the top companies visit the college. The highest package is 63 lpa and the lowest is 3lpa. 9.5 LPA is the average package. Top recruiters are Amazon, Microsoft and TCS. Nearly 55 percent of students got internship in 3rd and 4th years. 85 percent students got placed in different companies.
Infrastructure: Our college is well-equipped with every kind of facility that a student may need in their academic. Vibrant infrastructure with full greenery everywhere. Wi-Fi is available everywhere around the campus. There is a central library which gives mall like feeling. Every year, students can study there. Hostel's food quality is good. Medical facility is provided to the students. Every sports and game is available here.
Faculty: All the professors are PhD qualified. They are helpful in our time of need. You may find some professors to be rude. But their teaching quality is good. Course is curriculum relevant. Semesters exams are not so hard. They can be cracked easily just by referring to the material provided by the teachers. Nearly 95 percent students pass in semester exams. A good environment can be seen here.
Other: I have taken admission is school of computer Science and engineering. I chose this course because from a small age, I had interest in technology. Best thing about the course is that here teaching staff is helpful and you can work with teachers in making projects. There are 4 to 5 events in a month. Fests are held in the month of February. Scholarship is provided to top 1000 rankers in KIITEE exam. Different types of clubs and societies are there. You can join any of them.

Thriving environment with outstanding infrastructure.
Placements: A minimum number of students are getting placed, while mostly students are still waiting. The highest package is 12 LPA and the lowest is 3 LPA in our batch. The company selection process is becoming increasingly tough day by day, so students from non-IT backgrounds face difficulties in getting placements.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure and facilities are better than others, including sports, gyms, gardens, libraries where students can read peacefully, and many more opportunities for a successful career. Wi-Fi facility is also available on campus, providing 15 to 20. Almost all students love the campus.
Faculty: Not all teachers are rude; some teachers are very good and soft-hearted. They are serious about our career. However, I don't think students are perfectly ready for the industry because they don't get enough preparation for what an IT company requires. Therefore, students may not have all the necessary information.
Other: Events and fests always happen on time without compromises. The campus crowd is always high, starting from the evening.

Review of KIIT School of Computer Applications.
Placements: As I'm a fresher, as per the records, I can surely say that more than 80% of students are placed in the last 3 years from this trade. And as per the record, the average salary offered by the companies is nearly 7 LPA. Most of the students who are interested got placements as well as internship offers. And most of the well-known companies are recruiting here for a large number of students, like Deloitte, TCS, Capgemini, Cognizant, etc. As it's an IT sector professional course, IT field jobs are offered by the companies.
Infrastructure: Most of the facilities are available here. I can surely say that the course fee is worth it. Wi-Fi and library facilities are available at both places in the hostels as well as classrooms. Labs are literally well air-conditioned and have a large amount of machines. If I discuss the quality of services of the hostels, I'm staying in KP-2, and the service I'll give is 4.5 out of 5. The quality of food is really too good. I just wondered to think that in a very small amount, they're giving such good quality of food. And if it's come to the queries of medical facilities, inside the university campus there's a hospital named KIMS; if someone is facing kind of medical problems, a mobile hospital service is available there for anyone at no cost. In almost every hostel, there are sports and games spaces and also facilities for various kinds of games.
Faculty: Yes, of course, the faculty members are really helpful, and almost every time they're reachable. All of them are highly qualified teachers and best degree holders; the teaching staff is really knowledgeable. As per the university, the course offers students the best knowledge about the industry scenarios, and also it makes students worthy for the industrial fields, and the course is relevant to this vision. Yes, the curriculum and the semester exams are a bit tough.
Other: As I've completed my bachelor's degree in one of the IT fields, I chose to master this course. I think that, of course, it's my personal thought about the improvement that there should be some time management needed in this course because the whole day after classes, there are some online classes held for the placement training, which is also offered by the university free of cost. Yes, every year there's an annual fest organized at the time of the starting of the year. The number of students at this university is almost near 40,000, so the campus is crowded, of course, but well managed. If you discuss scholarships, you can apply for the state government scholarship offered by the Odisha state government. And you can apply for private scholarships as well as government ones. Extracurriculars are the best part here. You can do anything as much as you can, and you'll be rewarded for your flexing skills, and also there are some societies for each area of interest.

Review of my ongoing journey in KIIT.
Placements: The percentage of students getting placed in our college is quite high and also the highest; the lowest and the average package that is being provided by our institute is also very high. So almost the percentage right now going on with the placement is above 95%, and some of the top recruiting companies in my course, that is for Computer Science and Engineering, would be, when it comes to MNCs, Infosys, Capgemini, etc. And companies like Deloitte, Siemens, BNY Mellon, and Providence also recruit in high packages. The percentage of students getting internships right now is very high as well. And the top roles offered in my course would be, right now, software development engineers.
Infrastructure: KIIT is known for its infrastructure, and it is true what is said on the internet. The infrastructure here is pretty great. The labs in the buildings are fully equipped with all the required apparatus and everything. The Wi-Fi connection here is great. You get 24/7 Wi-Fi connection in your hostel, 24/7 Wi-Fi connection in the buildings where you go to study, everywhere. And the hostel facilities are great too. The food served here is quite tasty. You can survive on the hostel food. The people who are coming here this time need not worry about food that much. It is pretty great here. And also the canteens and mess that are present in and around the campus provide you with great food. If you want to try something other than the fast food, you can definitely go for the food courts and stuff. They give you coffee, they give you latte, mocha, whatever you need. And the sports facilities are pretty great. The medical facilities are pretty great. The students of KIIT get lots and lots of discounts. Even the checkups are free for the students of KIIT if they go to the KIMS hospital. So medical facilities are great over here. And also the building infrastructure where you go to study, the hostel infrastructure where you stay is pretty great. Study walls; everything is great. The rooms are cleaned every day. Even the classrooms are cleaned every day. Everything is very clean over here, and there is lots and lots of greenery around. The library, both departmental and central, is something that I boast about in front of my friends; it's that great. Sports and games are very much encouraged over here, as KIIT is known as the sports hub.
Faculty: KIIT has a very big faculty, and the faculty is very qualified. We get teachers coming from everywhere, from IITs, from great NITs. The teaching style here is also very good. If students pay attention in the class, they need not do too much hard work before the exams. The friends and people that I know who study very hard or the subjects that I study, when I go to the class, I don't really need to put too much effort before my exams because teachers do teach you everything. They do make you industrial-ready as well. They are there to guide you. If you need any kind of help, you can simply go to the faculty members and ask for help. They are very helpful. When it comes to the course curriculum, it is very much updated to what is required right now in the industry. The subjects that you will get to study are very helpful. You don't get any unnecessary subjects. Everything is according to the syllabus. Everything is according to your branch. The things that you study extra are something that you really do need to make you industrially ready. Also, the exams here are not that tough. They come kind of in between. If you study, you do pass. You don't really need to put too much effort into passing the exams. The exams are mediocre. They are fine. You can simply give it. They are not that hard, honestly.

An average college, which I regret joining.
Placements: Placements are average at this college. My brother graduated from here, worked very hard, and still only got a 5 LPA package despite having a 10 CGPA. They claim the average is 14 LPA and the highest is 1.3 CPA, but that isn’t true.
Infrastructure: The hostel is good, laundry service is available, and Wi-Fi works well. However, the college's in-time is very early, and even seniors aren’t allowed any flexibility. Wardens impose fines even for minor issues, which isn’t satisfactory for a hostel. The food in the mess is average.
Faculty: Faculty are said to be among the top 2% globally, and teachers are qualified but very old, so the quality of education suffers. The college ranks NIRF 15 mainly due to K-Innovation, campus, and the area of the university, but placements are lacking.
