Odisha University of Technology and Research Scholarships and Funding
OUTR Merit scholarship:
Eligible students of B.Tech./ B. Plan / B.Arch./ /MCA/M.Tech/M.Plan/M.Arch/M.Sc. Programme in the prescribed proforma for award of OUTR Merit scholarship for the year 2021-22.
The scholarship amount is Rs. 10,000/-(Rupees Ten thousand only) per year and 5% of actual student’s strength of each year branch- wise are eligible to get the scholarship. The students who have cleared all the papers in single attempt and who have secured the minimum of 8.5CGPA are eligible to apply for Scholarship.

Placements: Placement is very good. Top companies like Amazon, TCS, Infosys, and Deloitte recruit from our college. A very high percentage of students were placed this year. The highest package of all time was 46 LPA; last year, it was 32 LPA. CSE, Electrical, and E&I students have top placement records.
Placements: Placements are not very lucrative, but you could get a good company like Deloitte, L&T, Tata, Maruti Suzuki, etc. Obviously, you need to work on both academic and skill development. The average package is 6.7 LPA. And CSE is most preferred if you are a placement-oriented guy.
Placements: Placements are decent with the majority of students bagging offers from IT MNCs like TCS, Wipro, Infosys. There are no core companies for the civil branch, but there's lots of opportunities for IT and CSE students as well as Mechanical and Electrical, with increasing placements each year.
Placements: CSE students get good in-campus and off-campus placements compared to other branches, and it's pretty high compared to other state colleges. The highest in-campus placement is 42 LPA, and 576 students got placed. Overall, placements are good, and students just come here for placements.
Placements: The placements are really average. The companies that mostly hire from our college are TCS, Accenture, Wipro, and Infosys, and some top students get hired by Microsoft, Google, or Amazon-like companies. The percentage placed is around 80% and the average package is around 8–9 LPA for them, and for CSE students in core branches, it is as low as 3 LPA.
