The education standard of the college is good enough. The infrastructure is also good and improving consistently. There are delays in terms of the course, examinations and results. So, this needs to be managed better. The placement record is pretty good but targeted placements should be explored. Major focus needs to be rendered on research.

The only state engineering college in the capital city of Bhubaneswar, CET is located near the famous Khandagiri and Udaigiri caves. The admission fees is on the lower side as compared to the costlier private engineering colleges present in the city. The campus is Wi-Fi enabled with high speed connectivity, helping students to explore the internet. The campus is spread over 100 acres. The mechanical branch here rules the roost with the seats in this branch getting filled up at the earliest. Plac...

Ranked at the top across technical colleges in Odisha, boasts of experienced faculty and a sprawling 100 acres campus. The only deterrent to rapid development is the bureaucratic nature of administration. For a long time, the college has been trying to spin off from its affiliated parent university BPUT, the sooner the same happens the sooner you can expect the path to glory to be illuminated.

One of the top ranked colleges as far as the state of Odisha is concerned. Considered as the best government engineering college with B. Tech as well as M. Tech. and MCA courses. It is on its way to becoming autonomous. Unless that is done, I would not recommend anybody to study under BPUT.

The college has a different quality of teaching for different departments. Instrumentation and Electronics Department has qualified lecturers. Their teaching has been insightful. It is a good option to study from the branch in this college. Infrastructure hadn't been well before, but now heavy construction work is going on. New buildings are well equipped, especially the hostels.

CETB is one of the most comprehensive Government Engineering Colleges in the State of Odisha. To enhance your skills different types of clubs are present in the college like Zairza, Cetadel, Energy club, E-cell etc. Placement is too good in this college if you belong to computer science or IT branch because a lot of IT company visit this college. But the college lacks in providing placement to core branch students.

As it's a government college, we can't expect much on the infrastructure part. But the college is developing rapidly. When I had joined the college we didn't have enough lab facilities but now the college authorities have taken steps and we have separate buildings for labs and enough instruments/ lab facilities for the students. Hostel is okay, though food is bad. Classrooms are big but to accommodate so many students we lack gallery type classrooms. Library is pretty small one with no place to ...

Well, I studied in one of the premier institutes of the state, CET. The campus life is good. The infrastructure is not up to the mark. Students are very talented. Placement opportunities are average. Faculties are quite experienced. Earning a university status is the only thing which my college needs to do in order to outshine others which are ranked above it. The highlight of the college is its annual techno cultural fest XTASY. Every year, the fest added memories to my engineering life. The Dj...

The college provides a great deal to learn for a student and improve themselves in terms of academically and socially. The college is one of the most reputed college in the state. High speed Wi-Fi, well-equipped labs and a good library are some of its good points. Cultural activities are also encouraged. There are some major drawbacks as well. The infrastructure is improving (which was quite necessary) and would be really helpful for the students. More efficient faculty members are required and ...

There might not be anything great about this college as it is definitely not like the ones where you get all kinds of facilities at your hand's reach. Rather, you have to either bring up the issue to the authorities or do it yourself. But I have had a great experience here. In this college, extracurricular activities are available, with several events being held every now and then. The college canteen has a variety of food items to offer, with numerous food outlets serving anything from freshly ...

There are separate departments and well equipped laboratory building. The canteen facilities are also good. There are 2 girls hostel and 2 boys hostels presently. College of Engineering and Technology (CET), Bhubaneswar is the premier Engineering College under the Government of Odisha and is second only to NIT Rourkela in the state, in terms of brand equity. Situated in the state capital and spread over 100 acres of lush green environs, CET Bhubaneswar offers B. Tech and M. Tech degrees in multiple disciplines. It is a comparatively young institution, having moved to its present campus in 2002. The infrastructure is satisfactory and not top notch, as c...

It is the best government college in Odisha. It takes admission based on JEE Mains Rank. If one wants to complete engineering on a low budget without any compromises in studies, this is the best place to go to. It has been a wonderful experience for me. The faculty members here are friendly but a bit strict. The placement here is nice. Though the campus infrastructure is not that good, there are a lot many other things to look at. I am proud of my college.

This is the most preferred government college among the top rankers of the state. Being located in the heart of Bhubaneswar, the capital city, it attracts good placements and thereby it holds the highest placement record every year. It has got numerous clubs and activity hubs where the students can develop their skills.

Talking about the fee it’s a bit high for SSC (CSE, BT, IT, FT). FACULTY - Most of the faculty members are well educated and experienced. There are no properly maintained cricket and football grounds. Placement - It is the first thing which comes to everyone's mind. Most of the students get placement, but the packag...

If you are not from Rajasthan don’t even think to join this college. Because at the end of the day you will find that you have spent a lot of money and time and in return you are going to your home with empty hand.
