The placement of college is too good. You can take admission in it.

Placements: The placement of our college is too good. Our senior batch got up to 100 percent placement and they got desirable packages by the company. There were approx. 90 companies that came to our college. Some were big, some were small. They took all the students according to their abilities.

Good placement in 2016 & 2017. Infrastructure is good. Satisfied with the faculty.

Placements: The placement of my seniors' batch is good. Most of the students got selected in the companies that visited this year. As per my information, the average package is offered by TCS at 3.5 lakh. A number of companies visited this year like TCS, Tech Mahindra, Indian Army, etc.

Satisfaction regarding value for money that one spends, good faculty, best in town infrastructure.

Placements: The training and placement department of my college takes care that every eligible student gets a chance to get a good job. They train us on our weaknesses and prepare us well. They also conduct various pre-placement talks to brief us about the corporate life which obviously helps us understand and face things better. About 80-85% of the students from my batch were placed by the end of our final academic year. Various prestigious multinational, as well as startup based companies like TCS and Amd...

Good campus life but bad placements scenario.

Placements: Placement scenario in my college is quite good for computer science and IT branches (almost up to 90% were placed). Companies like TCS, Infosys, Capgemini, Mu Sigma, etc. hired students. The average package was 3-7 lakh per annum. Whereas, if we talk about core branches like mechanical, only 2-5% were placed in core companies like Eicher Tractors, Captain Tractors, Brio Energy Pvt. Ltd. with the average package of 2-4 lakh per annum. Rest of the students will be placed in BPO services of compa...

Not a good choice as your college.

Placements: The placements for our seniors were not good enough, I'd say, most of them got placed but there was only one major recruiter, TCS. Although there are several other recruiters that visit the college but most of them are not even satisfactory. Sometimes, if you get lucky, that is, there are a few recruiters that visit the college with better jobs, roles and of course, better packages but they only select the very best of the students and only a handful of them exist. Indian Navy is also one of the...

The college is average in category. If have not got a govt seat, then you can go for it.

Placements: TCS is the major recruiter here. Other companies also do come but core companies select very few students. In general, there is 30% placement. Placement-wise, it is a below average college. Some companies do offer a 3.6 LPA package, while the others offer 3.0, 2.0 etc. Generally, computer science students are lucky to grab the placement offers, so it is good for a computer science graduate. The placement scenario for core branches is not that much good. They further opt for GATE, CAT, SSC, railw...

BE at OIST Bhopal: A quick snapshot.

Placements: Placements for the senior batch 2012 were good (most offers by Cognizant), average placements for 2013 batch (most offers by TCS). Placements are particularly good for CS-IT branches but not for the core branches - EX, ME, CE, EC and AE. Most of the companies that visited the campus are from IT industry. Most students were placed with CTC in the range of 2.5 to 5 lpa with a few who got even 8-12 lpa.

Very helpful placement heads. Good faculties. Excellent infrastructure.

Placements: Placements percentage is good and training and placement cell helps everybody to achieve their goal. Placement head was also good and very supportive. The average salary offered was around Rs. 3.2 la. The main companies that come every time are TechM, TCS, Wipro. They focus mainly on TCS because TCS hires in bulk. They will provide separate training for TCS.

I personally suggest you, please do not take admission if you want to learn something.

Placements: Only two thee companies come for placements. TCS was the only one which recruited about 100 students. Student of ME and civil didn't get placements because there was no campus for these branches. When I was in the last year, ICICI Bank came for recruitment but never gave the call letter to the students it recruited.

If someone wants to work hard, the college will definitely support.

Placements: The placements here are not too good, but still, if the students are capable the college will definitely bring a job to them. The placements for my batch will be coming 6 months later but many of my seniors have got themselves placed in one or the other company. However, the placements for mechanical and civil are low as compared to computer science and IT.

Great faculty and decent placements, but a little less on co-curricular activities.

Placements: The placements in our batch and seniors' batch were pretty decent. 70% of the students got placed in the campus placements, and the companies that offered placements and visited the campus were TCS, L&T, Persistent, Mu Sigma, Zensar, Indian Navy, Bloomberg, Daffodil, and HCL Comnet. The average package offered was 3.5 LPA whereas the highest and lowest packages were 6LPA and 2LPA. The students of the college get internships whoever opted for it, and the average stipend offered was 5,000-8,000. ...

An average institute with all average infrastructure and facilities. Somewhat not fully satisfied.

Placements: Simply, the placements in our batch were average. The condition of the placements in the college is downgrading year after year. 60% students in our senior batch got placements. The average package offered to the students was Rs 2-3 lakhs per annum. Whereas the highest package was Rs 3-4 lakhs per annum and the lowest was Rs 1.8 lakhs per annum. The companies which visited the campus are TCS, DHL, Amazon and Jindal. Trainee engineer role was offered to the students. The college does not provide...

Placements: Placement for my batch as well as for my senior batch was quite good. Almost 70% students got placed. TCS, HCL, Hyundai, Syntel and some other companies also came for recruitments. They hired students as Software Engineers, Mechanical Engineers, Software developers etc. All the students got internships from the college.

It has the 2nd highest placement among the engineering colleges in Bhopal, Also Beautiful Campus and Best Computer labs among all the colleges in MP. There is not much pressure on the students for attendance. TCS is the major recruiter, 250 students were placed only from OIST in September 2015. The college is one of the top colleges in Bhopal often ranking in the top 3 colleges of the city. It is a must apply for students wanting to study in Bhopal itself.

In this college, all the departments have good faculty members. The placement here is also good but not up to the mark. The management is also good and the college has a dell lab facility, well-equipped labs, one of the best infrastructure, a rich library, an auditorium, playgrounds, cultural and technical fests, and separate girls and boys hostels.

Satisfied with the faculty members but the placement was average.

Placements: I am a student of B.Teach from the branch computer Science and business system (CSBS) it's a new branch from TCS. So the placement was good but it depends on students ability. Average package is 3 to 4 Lacs per annum and the highest 11 to 15 Lacs. So our branch was launched by TCS so TCS is one the top recruiting companies other than that companies like WIPRO, CISCO etc. Also recruit.
