It is the best college ever.

Placements: Our college has consistently placed students in reputed national and multinational companies. The numbers of companies visiting the campus has increased over the years. We are on the most of the top companies that visit the state each year. Our students have performed exceedingly well over the years.

Good college but you have to work on yourself.

Placements: In my senior batch, there are total 450 students from whom only 280 got placed on-campus left are trying for off-campus, and some of them are placed now. Almost 100 of students are got placed in off campus. Actually this year all the companies followed the criteria for selecting students that's why. The number of students selected is less in number,

Review of Orissa Engineering College.

Placements: The college had 40% placement. The college is not so good in placements. Basically, in civil engineering, the placements are very poor. Not much good companies are available for better placements. There is no placements assurance for the students future, and it is considered as harassment as far as related to the career of students, but preparation facility for placement is good.

Absolutely satisfied with everything my college is or has. Placement is very good no doubt of that.

Placements: The placements for our batch and our previous batches was very good. I am currently working with TCS, which I got in campus recruitment only, and the other companies that visited the campus are Zycus, Adani, the happiest minds and many other. The roles that offered were system engineer, software developer, an electrical engineer. We have a very efficient placement cell that provides series of pre-placement training that benefits students to perform better in interviews. A good number of students...

I am satisfied partially with the campus, but overall, the college is nice.

Placements: Overall, the placements were excellent. Around 70% of the students were placed in reputed companies in India. Our head of the training and placement cell treated students as their own child and gave their best effort to enlighten our lives. The highest salary would be around 7 LPA, and the lowest would be 3.5 LPA.

Satisfied with the overall performance of college due to faculty, infrastructure and placements.

Placements: Dedicated placement cell exists with international level training. The percentage of placements is average, i.e. 60% of which majority is in IT sector. Very few core companies, as well as consultancies, are recruiting these days. Still, in the civil engineering, approximately 30 students were placed in the core companies.

It is a good college with good staff.

Placements: Placements here are average. The major company that comes is TCS, which is a mass recruiter. It is followed by Zycus, Mind Tree and many others. TCS employs more than 50 percent of the students. Whereas, the other companies recruit the rest. Placement percent here is around 70%.

It is below average college and wastage of your parent's hard-earned money.

Placements: Placements were below average as college was not paid much attention to placements and were not very much sincere about the placements. It hampered the morale of the students. The highest package offered was around 7 LPA for the seniors, and the lowest package offered was around 2 LPA.

Absolutely dissatisfied with the faculty and the college placements. The crowd is violent.

Placements: The placements over the past few years have been on the downside, and only TCS is coming for the recruitment. The college has not been making any proper efforts to get more companies for the recruitment drive. The students have to go for off-campus placements to other colleges. In the batch, above 30 students have been placed in TCS and no other company has shown up. There is a placement cell, but it is not very efficient.

Satisfactory environment in the college

Placements: Mainly, TCS is recruiting most of the students but many other companies are giving placements too such as Wipro, Amazon, etc. I can't remember all the names but placements went very well since last four years. Though there is a downfall in placements since last two years, I can't say for sure what it will lead to in the upcoming years.

OEC - The heart of thousands of esteemed engineers.

Placements: The placements of IT as well as software companies were recommendable. However, core companies seemed a downfall of placement. Fortunately, I was placed in Royal Infraconstru Ltd. Amazon, TCS, JMC projects, Royal, Harpy Core and many more companies visited our college. The average salary package varies between 2.5-3 LPA. The highest salary package was 7LPA. The college provides training for placement & interview session which is quite helpful when we face interviews. A motivational speaker also ...

Average placements in 2017. Really good infrastructure and lab facilities. Some teachers are good.

Placements: The placement was not good in our college. Only software companies visited our college this year. Only 3-4 companies were on-campus, rest all were either pool campus or off-campus companies. Only 20% students were placed. The highest package was 4.6 LPA and the lowest was 2.6 LPA. Companies like TCS, Zycus, etc. visited our college and companies like Tech Mahindra, UX Reactor, Hind Rectifier Pvt. Ltd., Harpy Core Network India Ltd., JMC Project, etc. conducted recruitment drives off-campus. ...

The college has a good environment to learn all the skills, apart from studies and good placements.

Placements: Around 60% of the students were placed in my batch in different IT and the core companies. The highest package given was around Rs. 4.5 LPA and the lowest was around Rs. 1.5 LPA. All the students get different types of posts like the trainee, the sales executive, etc. The following companies came to us for providing different types of jobs, which were the Adani group, TCS, Royal infrastructure, Wipro, Saint Gobain PVT Ltd., etc.

The best technical education in East Odisha

Placements: Tata Consultancy Services is the mass recruiter of this college. Every year, more than 50 students get selected on this campus with an average salary of 3.5 lakhs per annum. Students get selected and therefore, the campus they offer has better placements for computer science engineering students.

Satisfying placements in 2016. Cooperative faculty. Nice infrastructure.

Placements: The placements were very good. At our time, TCS was the mass on-campus recruiter. The college never differentiates. All the students get a fair chance to sit in all placement drives. Apart from TCS, the college pulled many more off-campus placement drives such as Mindtree, Accenture, Prolifics, HCL, Capgemini, etc. It even conducted online hiring examinations such as Aspiring Minds. The average salary offered at our time- 3 lacs. Highest salary offered- 4 lacs. Lowest salary offered- 1.28 lacs. ...

OEC has a very pleasant study atmosphere for learning and exploring self-worth

Placements: The placement is very good. Major mass recruiters like TCS, Mindtree and Zycus have a very good recruiting capacity from this college. The students also have options for off-campus placements of certain branches and get selected in vivid firms. There are good placements recorded in certain branches like computer science, information technology and electronics departments.

An average engineering college.

Placements: The placements in the college are good. More than 60% of the students got placed with the average package of 3.5 lakhs per annum. TCS, Tech Mahindra, Zycus, Adani, MindTree, etc. were the few major companies. There's no kind of internships, but college provides approval for the training in different companies. I have got trained in BSNL for 1 month, and there's no stipend provided. I have paid Rs.6000 for training.

An average college in all matters.

Placements: TCS is the only mass recruiter. Mostly, students from CS, IT, and ECE are placed. The average package is around 3 LPA. Earlier, many companies used to visit every year but now, not so many companies visit. The placement is less compared to the previous years. You can get detailed placement record on the college website.

Placements: The placement of my college was good for senior batches. To be placed in a good company, you will have to fulfill their criteria. Almost 40% students got placed with an average package of Rs. 3.25 lakhs. The highest package was Rs. 5.25 lakhs. Companies that were available to recruit are TCS, Accenture, Amazon and many more.
