It is completely a waste of money and time.

Placements: The percentage of students who got placed from our course is very poor as just 30% of students got placed in IT companies and not in our core companies. I think the lowest salary offered is Rs. 10,000 per month, and the average salary offered is around Rs. 17,000-20,000 per month. The highest salary offered is Rs. 25,000 per month. Mahindra Tractors was the top recruiting company in 2019. About 30% of students got internships in dairy industries like Aavin milk products, etc. About 40% of studen...

I will rate the college 2 stars out of 5.

Placements: This is the new course. So, we don't know about the placement details of our course. The faculty members tell us about the websites to get internships, and we also try for an internship. My course is mostly research and industry-orientated.

Review of Paavai Engineering College.

Placements: Only IT companies of below par and local below-average companies visit our college to hire students. Not a single-core company related to electrical engineering course visit our college for placements. The salary package offered to the students is 1.2 LPA. Well-known companies do not visit our college to hire students.

It is a good college with excellent infrastructure and facilities.

Placements: Placements were very less in our batch. Maybe 5-10% of the students might have got placed in some MNC companies, and the rest students were just passed out. Only a few major companies visited in which few got selected. Later our college has started placement cell to motivate and prepare students to get ready for interviews. I hope next year batch students might get more opportunities than ours.

It is below average and you can't even think about joining here.

Placements: Placements in the college were average, and the highest salary package offered was around 4.5 LPA. Most of the companies were related to BPO and KPOs, so we couldn't expect a better placement over here. But off-campus drives provided by the college were good, and they sent us to various places for attending recruitment drives. So, they were good.

The college has bad placements, good infrastructure, and good lab facility with good equipment.

Placements: Our college doesn't have a good number of placements for the mechanical engineering. Our college doesn't invite a good number of core companies for the placements. The same scenario happened for our senior batches also. Companies like Aquasub, Coimbatore Pumps and some other pump companies from Coimbatore region visit the college for the placements for the graduate trainee posts. The salary ranges from 12K - 15K per month in these companies. On an average, 10% of the students have been placed d...

An honest review of Paavai Engineering College, Namakkal.

Placements: When I was in the final year, in 2016, many companies came for placement. Out of them, only 2 are product based companies, and one was a service based company. The remaining are BPOs and insurance companies. You can attend off-campus placements with OD. I don't know what is happening now because the college is now autonomous. Syllabuses have been changed. Now, they are taking placement training classes from the first semester. I heard placement activities had improved a lot now. I hope they are ...

Absolutely dissatisfied with everything except infrastructure.

Placements: There were no placements for core mechanical engineering students. We were attending interviews for BPO and some IT companies. Out of 600, only 2 mechanical engineers got through in IT. Even for the department students, the placements are not mentionable. You need to stand on your own.

If you have self interest, then you can grow with the organisation, you will get opportunity.

Placements: I have got placed in Tech Mahindra, in my final year 7th semester. One and only MNC we have on our campus, your hard work will take you up. After this MNC you will have more than 50+ companies with some decent package. If you clear all the subjects then somehow they will try to place you.

Has better infrastructure than top ranking colleges but poor academics and placements.

Placements: Placement is not provided in my institution. One or two MNCs will come on campus, a few BPOs and some third tire companies will come for placement. They were not conducting regular placement classes. There will be no proper professional placement trainers to train you.

Poor placements and average faculty.

Placements: No companies visited for recruitment in my college and only one MNC visited for on-campus placement. In our institution, there are four engineering colleges and for the whole institution, only one MNC visits for placement which recruits around 50+ students every year. Very few companies which do not belong to engineering or IT field visit for placement. There is no placement training throughout the academic period. Some placement training institutes will conduct placement training at the start o...

This college is good in education and sports and has a clean environment. The college also has classy infrastructure and placements along with well-experienced faculty members. It encourages state and national level sports participation and also organises sports and cultural activities. The symposiums here are organised by the students and the hostel here is moderately good, with the food facility being clean and hygienic.

My college has lots of facilities. Good college, good faculty members, they will teach you everything whatever they know. Good placements, good hostel facilities, we have research center also. Faculty members teach us like a their own children when we have lab sessions.

Its infrastructure is good but study quality is below its ranking, here you have to follow rules and regulation too much. If you want to study for a good marks not for knowledge then you can join this college because here they will conduct exam every day, you will be not motivated from your teacher but they will discourage you a lot.

Neither good nor bad college.

Placements: 1. Students above 50% are eligible for placement in our college. 2. 8000 as the lowest and above we can have salary according to our knowledge and skills we learnt. 3. Mahendra, tvs and some more companies offering our college to make job for the students. Students above 80% easily can get an internship and they will get a superior post too.

Think education don't think paavai.

Placements: Some what okay. But only business process outsourcing company is hiring. No software company is coming for placement. And placement training was good. Some of the members place in well reputed company. Some other place in medium and small company. Okay good.
